    Gravy Smothered Chicken Biscuit

We tried the grits bowl, French Toast Donuts, Biscuits and Gravy. The service was fine you order then they give you buzzer to go back and get the food. I wasn't a fan of the donut French toast it was almost like loaf very thick not fluffy. My husband did like it. Everything else was great chicken was fresh and juicy. We will definitely be back to try the donuts as they were sold out.

Went here over the weekend for the first time. Staff was friendly and place had a great vibe. I ordered the breakfast platter and my husband got an egg sandwich, everything was delicious here and we'll definitely be back. Only thing I can make a suggestion on is to be careful when eating outside at the picnic tables. The tree roots are exposed and I fell backwards over one and bruised my backside and my ego trying to sit down at one of the benches. I know no one can help that the tree is there but a warning sign would be nice or the bench positioned differently maybe would help some.

Bacon Apple Bear Claw, I would have called it Bacon Apple Fritter but sooo good.

Fun place in old Victorian-style house. Probably the best grits I ever had, tasted like they were boiled in bacon grease (but not greasy) and very buttery tasting. Maybe they added a little bacon at the end. Unique donuts, I had the Bacon Apple Bear Claw for dessert. I would have called it a Bacon Apple Fritter as the dough had a texture and flavor more akin to an Apple Fritter, but a rides by any other name.. Tomorrow I plan on trying the Créme Broulee and the Brown Butter Peach Cheesecake. Super friendly and (seemingly) happy counter staff. All in all just a genuinely pleasing experience.

We unexpectedly came to eat here, and while parking was a little difficult, I'm glad to have been able to stop by. The service wasn't really helpful to questions I had and were mostly indifferent to everything, and if there wasn't a time crunch, I would've perused reviews more for an idea of what to order. That being said, the chicken here did not disappoint! The sides... well, I should've ordered the fried brussels sprouts. Hashbrown tots sounded great, and they were, but there were only two of them. It wasn't what I was expecting when I think of tots either. I love gouda, so the mac was nice. I should've ordered an actual donut instead of the donut french toast! My review feels a bit incomplete to me without having tried a donut! The donut french toast was dense and dry. For an item under their favorites section, it wasn't very good. The chicken was well seasoned, well fried, and whether it's on a biscuit or in a sandwich, was topped, dressed, sauced in a way that hits the spot. I could only assume how great their donuts must be.

The inside is kitschy and cute with little donuts and hens. There was Christmas decor as it was the day after Christmas and they still had their specials. The server was very kind in taking my order and my coffee was excellent! I love a peppermint mocha and I was glad to see it on the Christmas special menu! I ordered the Gingerbread and the Bourbon Eggnog. The Gingerbread was great! It tasted more similar to a Biscoff than Gingerbread but I loved it. The Bourbon Eggnog was alright. I didn't get the taste of Bourbon or Eggnog. Overall a nice place! I would be back to have another donut!

Cute shop with welcoming porch and fun, eclectic chicken-related decor. Huge pothole at the parking lot entrance - be prepared for a brief and unwelcome 4-wheeling experience. The moderate-sized menu is mainly donut and biscuit-centered. My egg and cheese biscuit wasn't bad; the egg portion was nicely prepared and generously supplied, while the biscuit was average at best. Although other cheese varieties would have been tastier, I don't have a big problem with American. The crème brûlée donut was gorgeous to behold; sadly, the charm ended there, with somewhat stingy filling, disappointing texture, and insipid, uninspired flavors within. Service wasn't great, eked out by a tragic Gen Z-er who would help me if she had to, but wasn't happy about it, and searched diligently for ways in which to make me feel somehow inadequate. Sorry, but either enjoy your job and love people, convincingly fake at least one of the above, or stay home and indulge your ennui while playing Fortnite with all your bot friends.

Delicious and great value. Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. Everything moved quick and the store was very cute. Staff was friendly and accommodating

What a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. The husband and I both chose the Donut Breakfast sandwich which was huge and packed with sausage, bacon, egg and cheese on a toasted donut. I've never had anything quite like it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was fast and we sat outside under one of their many umbrellas on a lovely early fall day. Perfect! Will definitely be back.

HenDough is the cutest little place! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming! The food was delicious and the sweets were out of this world! The portion sizes are more than enough! The biscuits were fresh and HUGE! I will absolutely dine here again when I'm back in town!

This is place is amazing. My wife and I split the donut breakfast sandwich and the apple chicken biscuit. Both were delicious but the donut breakfast sandwich was the real winner. I have lots of exercise ahead of me to work it off but it's worth it!!! The patio is also dog friendly, so bring your pups!

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM. Yes. Ten million yummy points this place is. Gawd dog I could not have picked a better biscuit place when I was looking up food in this area. This place was MOVIN people in out which speaks to how well known and loved this place is. The donuts were far too good, no other donut will ever compare. The chicken was more crispy than kernel Sanders could ever imagine. The staff was all sweeter than a pecan pie. You are a fool to pick any other biscuit place over this one. Seems bit pricey but the quality is beyond worth it. They also have a great coffee selection. Mouf is watering just remembering this place. It filled my heart soul and stomach. Thank you hendough for making my road trip home volumes less miserable

I got the opportunity to try the buffalo blue cheese chicken sandwich w/Mac and cheese. Ooh man it hit the spot! Definitely a treat to eat here when visiting Hendersonville. You'll know that this is the best donut place in town since they regularly sell out of all their daily donuts.

With so many great reviews, how could I not try this out while in the area visiting family? HenDough seems to be a local institution judging by both the reviews and the lines. Definitely a spot that stays hopping from open to close it would seem, especially on nice weather days. While we didn't partake in donuts, they certainly looked appealing through the glass display. Gonna have to have one next time, just to know, ya know? What I did have was a delicious hot honey chicken biscuit that I wouldn't hesitate to get again. It was a nice thich piece of well fried chicken with a light batter, thoroughly coated in honey, definitely needed many napkins and a handwash after. I had brussel sprouts with mine, to kind of balance things out. While they were pretty good, I wish they had a little more pop in their flavor, but the sauce helps. More vinegar should do it, at least to my tastes. Definitely a stop you shoul make for breakfast or brunch, even lunch, if you are in and around Hendersonville!

Usually we come around 10ish and there's a small wait or the place is just really packed (even outdoor seating). But today we stopped around 8:30 and there was only a couple of tables taken up. We were greeted with a smile right away and taken to a table. We were given 2 different menus. One containing the different breakfast and brunch options they offer and the second one with the coffees and alcoholic beverages. Once you look at the menu you see that there is a lot of the basic breakfast options you can find at other restaurants. But what also makes the menu different is that they offer latin breakfast and lunch items like huevos rancheros, huevos con chorizo, tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Since it was so early I decided to go with the huevos rancheros since I've never had them here before. I also decided to go with the honey bear latte (iced) with oat milk as my drink for this morning. My latte was really good! It had hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and honey. The oat milk mixed in perfectly making the latte have a nice creamy taste. Once my dish came out I was happy at the presentation of the plate. I ordered my eggs overhard and they came topped with salsa roja, queso fresco, and cilantro. All of this was placed on top of a fried tortilla and given to me with a side of home fries. Over all I did like the dish. I will say the salsa roja threw me off because I expected it to be a little more spicy, however it had a more citrus/lime taste to it. The home fries however were a 10/10 for me, I liked how crispy they were and how I didn't need to add more salt and pepper to them. Overall I really did enjoy my time this morning at Arabella's. Our server was super nice and attentive with us. The atmosphere is calming. Also it's nice to see the people of Hendersonville coming in and supporting this local business. If you're from the area or a tourist definitely check this place out. You wont be dissapointed.

It's a bit of a drive from the N Rigby entrance to the the cookhouse but a beautiful ride with green fields and a stunning view of Mt. Pisgah. We were greeted by a hostess who brought us to the porch in the rear. The first thing I noticed was the sound of many voices to both sides. It was more obvious upon entering that there were multiple groups seated at both sides along community tables. We were seated in the middle of the table to the right and chose to sit across from each other. Our server, Kara, was pleasant and helpful. We ordered from the brunch menu we were given by the hostess. I ordered the scrambled egg bowl and enjoyed the best tasting egg flavor I've had in a long time. The greens, pickled onions, feta cheese and other vegetables complimented the dish perfectly. My partner wasn't sure about ground lamb ( since there are several renditions of it) but took a chance with the lamb burger and was glad she did. The fries that came with it we shared; they were crispy as we like them. She ordered a virgin bloody Mary and enjoyed it. That said the Worcestershire sauce flavor was quite pronounced and it might not be to everyone's liking. We have had several lunches and brunches over the last several days and this was the least $. I think we adjusted to the sound level after a few minutes and did strike up a conversation with some folks who came in after we did and sat nearby.

Our water and drinks were empty multiple times. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming and extremely overpriced, especially for Hendersonville. I ordered the banh mi and wouldn't recommend it. For that price, I would much rather dine at Postero across the street. The restaurant asked if we were celebrating anything, and we mentioned a major accomplishment for our friend. While the waitress acknowledged it several times which was kind it was disappointing to learn that there was no complimentary dessert or gesture. At that point, repeatedly bringing it up felt unnecessary. Given the high reviews, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning.
