We were one of the first people in as Blue Sky opened. I ordered a kids meal and a lamb gyro. The kids meal came out but the lamb gyro never came out. Everyone ate their food, kids were ready to go so after 31 minutes of waiting for food I asked for it to be put in a To-go box. The employees did not offer any discount only told us to have a good day. Super bummed as this has previously been one of our favorite places. read more

They have some decent sides, but I like to stick to their battered-style French fries which are always good. We have always been huge fans of Blue Sky but were very disappointed recently. We ordered online and picked up- received a call that they were out of fries, no big deal. We agreed to supplement with carrots in the kids meals- they did not do so (put sweet potato fries instead). Unfortunately the quality of the meals weren't any better- children's meals were cooked extremely poorly- a burnt grilled cheese and undercooked cheeseburger as shown in the photos. We love supporting the local restaurants but will think twice before trying Blue Sky again. read more

Yummy salmon pita wrap! Our large party loved this cafe for delicious sandwiches and fresh tasting food. I had the Greek salmon pita, which was delicious with salmon, cucumber, greens, and a yummy dressing. The dressing was more like a vinaigrette than traditional greek dressing but I liked it. Wraps come with a side and I had sweet potato fries that were crispy and flavorful. We did takeout but all the orders were accurate and everyone was happy with their sandwiches. The staff has been pretty much the same people for as long as I can remember and they're all incredibly friendly and personable. The restaurant is super cute and unique, very artsy. My family and I stopped here on an adventure to scope the leaves and scenery before my sons soccer game in Shelby. My wife found this place on Yelp on our trip up to the mountains. This place had extensive Covid Prevention Measures. After ordering we opted to sit on the patio in the far corner. This place has a diverse menu that's even is good for picky eaters. I ordered the longhorn wrap and a bowl of their "almost famous" chili with cheese. My wife ordered the smokin ranch chicken wrap with fries. My son ordered cheeseburger and carrot sticks. My oldest daughter got a grilled cheese with sweet potato fries and my youngest daughter also got a bowl of Chili with fries. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My daughter and I split her fries and made Chili cheese fries. My longhorn wrap was tasty and was a huge portion. The chili with also tasty with the crispy fries. I wouldn't go again around noon. Extremely long wait time for food, over an hour, and your table doesn't get their food all at once. My wife got her sandwich 20-30 minutes after I was served. We also saw customers who came in after we ordered get their food before we were served. The food was good but not worth the wait. Staff was somewhat rude. read more

Arrived at lunch time on a crowded day. Food is ordered from a counter. When our turn came to order, we were initially ignored. Once the order was placed--an Albuquerque Turkey Salad and a chicken parmigiana sandwich--we waited nearly 30 minutes for the salad to be served, five more minutes for the salad dressing to arrive, and another five minutes for the sandwich to be served. The chicken for the sandwich was overcooked to the point of being hard and tough. The salad was okay. To top it all off, all the tables in the restaurant, including ours, needed to be cleaned. We didn't see a single one get cleaned while we were there. We were also surrounded by lots of people who were grumpy about the long wait. There are lots of better options in Fletcher and Arden. We won't be returning to Blue Sky. read more

Nothing special here aside from a sign on the door saying to wear a mask and literally no one working wearing a mask. One of the ladies was also eating at the counter where my order was taken. Got a burger and fries. It was ok, standard frozen stuff cooked. With a fountain drink it was $12. Back again in less than a week. Yep! It's that good. Their tea (1/2 sweet-1/2 nonsweet with a spritz of lemonade) is EXCELLENT. Hubby selected a BLT with fries and I'm getting my old stand-by, the dill-pecan chicken salad plate. This was a hidden gem I found while saying in Hendersonville for work. I drove up this direction to go for a jog at a park nearby and came here for a bite to eat afterwards. The employees were so friendly, and the process of ordering food was very efficient. There are also a lot of vegetarian options which makes thing so much more exciting. I ended up getting the hummus plate and a black bean wrap. I sat outside on the patio area and for being on a busy road it still felt quite relaxing. The food came out very quickly and was delicious. I would definitely recommend coming here to grab a quick bite of food. It also looked like there was a lot of people doing takeout so definitely an option if you're trying to eat at home.
