Bacon cheeseburger with fries

Back again. Great food, great beverages and great environment! I highly recommend making this place a regular stop.

Inside seating

This was a fun place so glad we found it! There is a large area inside whee tou can sit, but outside has tons of seating both picnic tables in the expansive yard and chairs and tables on the covered deck. Husband tried the Carolina apple ( green apples), and I tried the flight because I could not decide ( blackberry, pear, pineapple, and coffee) Bartenders are super helpful with helping decide as there is a lot to pick from. They do have food options. There is a food truck buy you order inside where you get the drinks. They text you when your food is ready, head to the truck and pick up. Will definitely be back when we are in that area again.

We stopped here on our way to Asheville and enjoyed the experience. The weather was nice to enjoy a flight and food in the outside covered porch. We'll worth the visit. I will recommend stopping if you are in the area!

Yummy potato skins, good vibes inside and out, lots of parking. Rotating food options

We stumbled upon Bold Rock Mills River Cidery for their 12 year birthday! Our group had enough time to look at the menu for food and we were able to order our food and drinks within the main taproom. I ordered the Steakhouse burger with fries, and had a Berry Peach cider. The staff was amazingly helpful in their recommendations with ciders, and draft beers. We sat in the mezzanine at a long table with a table of 6. The food truck took now time to cook our food and we were pleasantly surprised with the amazingly hot fries, seasoned with black pepper and salt. My steakhouse burger had caramelized onions, seasoned hand burger patties, on a sesame bun and it could easily have been a delicious meal full of flavor, or it was post tubing. Super clean taproom and although the rainstorms came down on the live music to celebrate the birthday, those folks who were outside during the outdoor seating to enjoy the sounds. Hands down, I'd come back to visit the brewery again and look forward to enjoying the views!

Located in the open fields in Mills River in NC, the place was quiet on a Friday afternoon. The cider flights are a must if you can't make up your mind, but they also have beer. Staff are nice, but pretty short in conversation. If you order food, fyi you have to pick it up from the food truck outside even though you order it along with your cider. There is tons of seating with picnic tables outside and inside tons of high top and regular tables.

Fun place. Half price apps on Tuesdays! We hit that. The ciders are hit and miss, but that's everywhere and with everyone's specific tastes. Got a flight and it was all pretty good. Been a couple times throughout the years and it's all pretty decent. Inside and outside seating, bring your dog.

My friend and I came on a Saturday night and we were pleasantly surprised with the crowd and live music! We found a picnic table outside to accommodate the puppy and went inside to the bar to order our food and drinks. My food took some time, probably around 30-40 min. My friend's burger only took about 15 min. I wasn't too impressed with the fried chicken sandwich because the chicken was a little too crispy and the meat was a little dry. I also wish I could taste the condiments more so the flavors would be a little more balanced. As the night went on, a lot of people went out onto the dance floor, including young children. I give this 4 stars for the overall experience but a 3 star for the food.

Coffee roast cider and 8 days a week IPA

We feel in love with this cidery! On our recent visit back to Asheville, we were on a search for a good venue for friends and family. The staff was nice and friendly. It is a walk up service to order food and drinks and then you pick up your food in their food truck outside. My partner was surprised to fall in love with cider, in particular the Coffee roast cider. I really enjoyed their 8 days a week IPA. We both ordered burgers which were cooked perfectly nd sat outdoors. We came in the afternoon and it was not too busy. I loved the outdoor seating area. There are string lights and a stage, which I can imagine comes alive at night with local bands. It was a peaceful outdoor lunch with great views. Excited in return again.

We came here on a Friday for lunch during October and it was great! I expected it to be fairly busy since the Asheville are attracts many tourists during October for the leave changes, but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of seating and short wait for food and drinks. They have indoor and outdoor seating, you order inside at the bar and pick up food at the food truck outside. The chicken sandwich was very good, honestly way too big for me to finish by myself. I would definitely split a meal next time. Everything was quick, clean, and overall a great experience, I'll definitely come back- I love their seasonal ciders!

Cider flight

This was my last stop of my Asheville visit before heading to the airport. The cider was very good, we loved the different flavors. I was disappointed by the plastic cups for the cider flight though, was hoping for cute glasses. The food was good; we got the wings, the pretzels, and the patty melt. Service was okay. The guy at the food truck was rude to my sister so that dampened our experience. Otherwise it was a good experience overall and beautiful venue!

Trying to confirm that dogs are allowed inside? It's cold and rainy today but we'd like to go check it out while on family vacation with our doodledog!

They also have merchandise on sale, and feature plants grown from a local store! For my beer I got Beach, Please! Which tasted like an elevated Modelo - it was salty, sour (lime), and fruity (mango). I loved it! They have a great selection of BBQ and even better, they have a section on the menu called "Just a Taste", where you can order smaller portions to create your own sampler platter. I got the side of smoked turkey ($5) which was pretty good The 3 bones ($9) pineapple habanero flavored; they were generous and gave me more than 3 bones, and the sauce was actually kind of spicy but it was still flavorful and savory! And Jalapeño Cheese grits which were deeeeelicious! It was the perfect consistency and wasn't overly cheesy. The jalapeño pieces were diced so you were able to get some crunch in each bite. You order at the counter and they hand you a number. You're free to sit anywhere and they will bring your food out to you. They also bus the table for you, so you can get up and go whenever you're ready. They also have a patio that's dog friendly, and a restaurant side. I went right at 11 on a Wednesday and by 1pm they were full on both sides!

In the 1.5 years since, it's still the place I most often come back to in Hendersonville, despite sampling the food and beer at basically every place in town! I love the ambiance of the old converted gas station, the fact that you can sit inside or outside (and on chilly days, they don't skimp on the heaters) and the carousel of great food trucks that are always there. I love that you're not limited to one brewery's offerings, and instead have options from local NC establishments to interesting brews from all over the country. The bartenders know their regulars and are absolutely awesome, and I LOVE that I can take my pup, take my family, take my laptop---whatever the circumstances, Blue Ridge Beer Garden is the place to be.
