We grabbed some pizza a few doors down (HomeSlyce on King) and hung out in the backyard area on a pretty afternoon and enjoyed a wonderful Belgian Tripel. I can see this being a really fun place some evening. Cool vibe. read more

We stopped in with the in-laws for lunch while visiting family in the area. It's a big place with plenty of seating both inside and out on their back patio. I like how their stage is set up so when they have live music you can enjoy it both sitting inside & out on the back patio. We each tried a different beer & a different sandwich, and everyone enjoyed their drinks & food. Our fave sammie was their special for the day, a veggie rueben made with mushroom & zucchini. The beertender up front that took our order was really nice, too. read more

After a day of hiking in the Pisgah National Forest, we were looking for a place to have a cold beer and some great food to recharge. We zeroed in on Noblebrau Brewing in nearby Brevard because of their German-style beers. Having lived in Germany, I have an affinity for German-style beers. With the help of Google Maps, we found Noblebrau tucked away on an unassuming little side street in Brevard, not too far from Main St./downtown, but enough away you'd have to make an effort to go here. It's well worth the effort! Let's start with the beer. Their She's So Heffe hefeweizen is a true classic German hefeweizen -- crisp and refreshing with a hint of banana. Equally as good on a hot day is their Kolsch. Breaking from the German beers, we also tried their Queen Jean dry Irish nitro stout. Nitro is right -- so much head that every time you took a drink and put the glass back down, some head reformed. Not too heavy for a stout, and definitely in the Irish style. Guinness could sell this beer. Now to the food. They have a very small kitchen so the menu is limited. But what they do, they do very well! I've had so many "Southern fried chicken" sandwiches in the Asheville metro area that I've lost count. While very few have been bad, most are pretty forgettable -- even the ones billed as hot/spicy. The Unicorn chicken sandwich here is one of the best of the bunch I've had. A nice thick piece of chicken breast, well cooked, with a great coating. The "secret sauce" -- some sort of spicy aioli I'd say -- was fantastic. I'm not crazy about brioche buns, but there's was pretty darn good. We also had their vegetarian sandwich called The Graceful Bread. Not a big fan of quinoa, but thought it was unusual enough to mix it with sweet potato and make a veggie patty out of it that it was worth giving it a try. Not quite as good as the chicken sandwich, but still quite good. There were lots of spices mixed in and several layers of sauces and it all worked. I'd describe it as sort of a falafel patty -- definitely had a Middle Eastern vibe. The star of the show was their fries. Curly, salty spuds that are kind of a cross between steak fries and the thick homemade potato chips that some places serve instead of fries. I'd hike 7 miles again just for the chicken sandwich, fries and beers! Ambiance is just okay. Service not outstanding in any way, but not bad either. We sat out on the back patio (the place is bigger than you might think when you first walk in). You order at the front bar and they'll bring the food out to you. Definitely recommend this place for both the food and German-style beers. read more

Beer selection good, friendly service. Menu is small but creative and tasty. We enjoy house band on Sundays for casual evening.

Such a cool venue with good beer and friendly staff. We stop by here each time we visit the area. I was able to replace my stained shirt I had bought a couple years ago with a fresh one, and try a light and refreshing Pilsner on a warm July evening. The outside seating area is nice, though the smoking section is a little obnoxious being so close - defeats the purpose of enjoying fresh air. As a former smoker I get it, but I am also so glad I quit and be judgmental :-D haha. This visit my wife and I split a fried chicken sandwich with spiral fries. My wife likes things plain so the hot mayo sauce was on the side, if you like a spicy chicken sandwich, this stuff was KICKING! It was so good I started dipping the awesome fries in it. They have a stage that can open to the outside and inside so you can see an hear the band regardless of where you sit, but the door was closed as it was trivia night. We arrived a few minutes after it hard started, and it seemed like it was mostly aimed at those inside. Luckily they have a bunch of board and card games, and after seeing that cribbage was missing a few stones, we grabbed Yahtzee and I proceeded to get destroyed by my wife. On the way out I picked out a shirt after chatting with the two girls behind the bar/cash register area who helped decide on a color and give tips on cleaning my self proclaimed natural ability to stain my shirts. Awesome stop to hang out and grab a bite to eat an relax, so check it out! read more

I have now visited here for lunch a couple of times and enjoyed each visit. Best part is great beer with lots of seating indoors and out. Very limited sandwich menu is executed well. Live music in the evenings. A casual, dog friendly, German beer brewing place makes a great meetup place for groups of any size. read more

Noblebräu Brewing - Simple menu that is prepared to order and tasty good. - Breweries Near Me - Brevard, North Carolina

We loved this brewery!! Ordered 2 different IPAs and a golden ale. All were fantastic. I'm a regular at breweries and can say without hesitation that this place does an excellent job with their brew balance. Im a fan of the laid-back ambience. My only negative was the very unfriendly beer Frau. She had no interest in explaining any of the brew master favorites or specialties. We had a few questions, which clearly bothered her. Her sour attitude was off putting. She's in the wrong role. **BTW, it's a dog friendly atmosphere! Love that! Made a new canine friend :) read more

Delicious food and brew, excellent setting in the back patio area with live music to boot!

We found this gem after mountain biking and needed to refuel. The parking was a bit tricky but after we figured out that we could park all along the street we found more available spaces. The staff here is super friendly and we chatted as we ordered. The chicken sandwich was the "must get" referral from a friend and it did not disappoint! The burger was big enough to split due to an abundance of fries that came with the meal. There was a good selection of beers brewed onsite. You could eat indoors or enjoy the good weather outside. The patio has heat lamps for when it's chilly. I highly recommend this place! read more

Went to triple falls and checked out Hendersonville and decided to come check out Brevard. This place is incredible. I've been to many breweries all over the south and northeast and this place is incredibly good. Didn't have a single bad beer, freshly made seltzer was great, food was really good, and the atmosphere was nice. Nice indoor and outdoor seating, saw many dogs outside. Wish more breweries were this good. It's hard to find a brewery this nice. I would definitely say it is worth a stop. read more

Noblebräu Brewing - The unicorn (bottom), jumbo Bavarian pretzel, special pork sandwich (top), and salad but forgot the type. - Breweries Near Me - Brevard, North Carolina

The beer was so good and the food was phenomenal. I expected some typical bar food, but I was proven wrong! I got the veggie burger (sweet potato, quinoa and feta I believe?) and it was killer. I never get a veggie burger, but I was looking for a healthier option and I'm already hoping we come back before we leave so I can order it again. My boyfriend loved his chicken sandwich too. But the star of the show was the pretzel with pimento cheese! We both can't stop talking about how good the cheese was There was a Grateful Dead cover band playing when we got there on a Monday so it was a light crowd but we loved the music. Awesome outdoor seating to hang out with your dogs. 10/10, would absolutely recommend! read more

This place is just freaking amazing! The ambiance/environment is incredible! On the inside it has the best dive bar vibes; order up front, walk in to a cozy seating space with a pool table. On the outside, it's a big gravel venue for live music, lots of patio tables, and big hippie vibes. The beer and food are both outstanding. Quenchable German style brews and fried food done the best. Literally the best chicken tenders and fries I've ever had and the BBQ sauce was dynamite! Highly recommend! read more
