Food truck was friendly and we ordered up 2 of the specials, were given some wooden tokens to turn into the bartender for beers. Unfortunately, they could only be redeemed for a couple of canned mainstream beers and one local draft. Wish they would allow you to pay a buck or two more and allow a draft beer of choice, but it was fine. Sat at the bar and bartender never said 2 words to us, was busy chatting with some friends or locals at the other end of the bar. Burger and fries came quickly. Burger was just ok and fries were cold, so definitely no where near the best burger in town. It was a bit dry and had some basic iceberg lettuce and onion, nothing special. Finished our burgers and beers and headed somewhere else. Seems to be primarily a hangout for the locals?

The eggs were perfectly poached, and the house-made buttermilk biscuit and cheddar stone-ground grits were delicious. The service was the only factor that kept me from giving a 5 star review. When I sat down at the bar, it took awhile for someone to greet me and take my order. After my order was taken, I waited a long time for the food.
