A lovely tender cake doughnut with a nice maple glaze and plenty of bacon bits on the top. Absolutely the best! I normally order from Bourbon Street and get the lemon pepper wings with fries and fried pickles. When asked, be sure to get the wings SMOKED! It makes all the difference. These are the kind of wings that makes those glands EXPLODE! GREAT lemon pepper flavor with that smoked chicken hint. This is how lemon pepper wings should be done. The fries are crispy-crunchy outside and great potato flavor inside. And the pickles have an excellent breaded coating and awesome dill flavor inside. This is also one of those places what will fill up quick, so if you have a large party, go early. Also, as more people arrive, yep, it gets loud. Sometimes to the point you can't carry on a conversation, but it usually doesn't last long. And those BAF's do keep the place cool AND circulate great aroma. If you're not hungry when you get there, you will be when you walk in.

Well, I stopped in here on my drive home from Greenville...and here's the deal. The place had this cute Easter motif (thinking they change things up throughout the year?). The selection of Mochi Donuts were a bit weak though...none of my favorites featured that day. Of course, places like this change their donut selection weekly...so I just happened to pick the wrong day. Anyway, I decided to try their Biscoff Mochi Donut. Since I had lunch prior to, I was barely able to down 1 donut....but I will say that this Biscoff Mochi Donut was amazing! I also love their Bubble Tea selection...especially since they feature one of my favorite flavors, Rose Milk Tea. Loved it! I couldn't decide between two coffee drinks, so I tried both the Breve and the Cafe con leche. If you are looking for something creamy and delicious for the coffee taste do the breve. If you are looking for the same thing, but with some sweetness do the Cafe con leche. You can't go wrong with either choice. For food I ordered "Daryl's Chorizo Bowl" I don't know who Daryl is, but I am loving that chorizo. It has a base of eggs, covered with chorizo and a hint of cheese, onions and tomatoes. The drizzle of zesty green dressing and microgreens brings a freshness to a usually hearty dish. Staff was friendly, but it is laissez-faire vibe. You take your dirty dish (clean by the time you are done licking up all the deliciousness) to a rack at the back of the shop. To go boxes are placed by the utensil cart. Easy in and out. Did I mention they sell candles and other goodies (and I am not talking about the mouth-watering pastries or crepes) Overall a great place to visit in such a cute town.

This had to be checked out. Its a cute spot, spots to settle in outside and inside. Definitely, welcomes you to stay. I start with... wth, SAVORY doughnuts?!?!? The fig and pig a huge win. The margarita a little lacking in overall flavor, and the Hawaiian BBQ chicken was possibly sweeter than the dessert options. I have a suspicion the pepperoni is amazing... it will be eventually tried. None of the sweet options tried were less than amazing, visually works of art too. All of the doughnut bases are a croissant, puffy, light and airy. Perfectly flaky, Only the sweet options get the glaze common to doughnuts. They have a unique texture I've not seen at any place else. So although I agree with the coworker that they have incredible options, I don't they should be compared with the excellent simplicity of a good plain cronut.

I probably gained 20 lbs from eating this but all of them are so good. I have to give special shoutouts to the glazed, strawberry shortcake, cinnamon roll, chicken bacon ranch, and pepperoni pizza!

North St. to see where these are made and to bring some goodies to a friends home as a gift. It's a small shop but comfortable and the kitchen is open in back of the main counter. Several cute tables are sprinkled around, it's much more cute than a man cave. Do we call that a woman cave? Or a tea room? I dunno, it's just cute, so hope you get that, but the fun thing is there is a half pallet of bagged cane sugar staged for production right next to the cute area. And a cool idea is a shelf near the door of best seller books or local authors that you can read whilst there or, if you wish, purchase to take home. This is cool because it's not an indiscriminate large selection, it's a rather curated collection, which requires forethought. There's some Scout's donuts mech available. The big shocker though is $60 for a dozen donuts. They really are good, but that's steep. The counter staff were helpful and friendly. For some reason, $4-$5 a donut doesn't hit the same as $60 a dozen. But there were three folks with multiple donut orders ahead of us and a couple of tables with folks there at 8:00 AM. So, they are that good.

My friends and I got tons of filled cream puffs and cheesecakes - I got the matcha cream puff with matcha cream, the honey butter cream puff with vanilla cream, a cookies and cream mini cheesecake, and a lemon mini cheesecake. My parents LOVE their matcha cream puff. It's a tad sweet but the matcha flavor is delicious. My personal favorite is the honey butter cream puff-it has a crispy, sweet and salty shell that is DELICIOUS with the smooth cream. The cookies and cream cheesecake was rich, smooth, with chunks of Oreo cookies and the sweet creme. The lemon cheesecake was light and fragrant, perfect for a snack after lunch. The first photo I saw made it look like they specialized in giant, creative donuts, so we walked all the way through downtown looking forward to a fun dessert stop after our meal. Unfortunately, that wasn't the experience we had. Hendough is located inside an outdoor food hall, which is actually a really fun social atmosphere. It's one of the first stalls on the right when you walk in, although it's a bit confusing because ordering and pickup are shared with the neighboring vendor. Once we got there, I realized it's primarily a chicken biscuit shop. That's perfectly fine I guess since I love a good chicken sandwich and biscuit. So since we were already there I decided to try the Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit. Sadly, it missed the mark. The chicken was dry, overly greasy, and the breading was crumbly. There was a large grease stain soaking through the biscuit, and despite being labeled Nashville hot, it had almost no heat or flavor. Since we had originally come for the donuts, we tried those too. By the time we arrived, they weren't fresh and were being offered as a buy-one-get-one special after 6 p.m. Even at the discounted price, they tasted like an average grocery store donut; nothing memorable or worth making a special trip for. The only bright spots were the friendly service at the counter and the lively atmosphere of the food hall itself. Unfortunately, the food simply didn't live up to the hype, especially after going out of our way to visit. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend making a special trip for Hendough.
