Quick service and efficient. I ordered apple fritters, and 2 maple glazed donuts for a half a dozen of donuts. Each fritter counts as 2 donuts, and the price was under $8 with tax and a tip. The fritter was still warm with real pieces of apples, which brought the nostalgia out from memories of my grandmother making homemade apple fritters). I wanted to order donuts for a conference that I was sponsoring for a local school district and looked up the best place to purchase donuts. Lickin donuts came up as a great option. I entered the store and maybe I can count it to being very early, but I sort of felt as if I was being rushed or hurried along. I made a stop at Lickin' Good Donut shop in Simpsonville. They have a nice selection of sweet pastries as well as some savory goodies. I've been to the shop before, but it was later in the day, and they were sold out on most of their pastries. Today there was plenty of things to choose from depending on what you wanted. Some of their sweet items are apple fritters, glazed and cinnamon coated twists, sour crème donuts, raspberry, lemon, chocolate and Bavarian cream filled donuts, chocolate, yellow and blueberry cake donuts. Some of the savory items were ham, cheese and egg, bacon, egg and cheese croissants, sausage dogs wrapped in what looked like puff pastry. On this visit since I had a variety to choose from, it took me a minute to decide what I wanted. I got a glazed twist, a lemon filled glazed donut and a blueberry glazed cake donut. The twist was fresh and so was the blueberry donut, both were delicious. If you're in the Simpsonville area during the morning, just drive around the corner of Food Lion, Donut is at the very end, you will be glad that you did! read more

I have been waiting for this place to open for a while, so even though it was 3 minutes before closing and the middle of a pandemic, I decided to stop in and support this new business - it wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but regardless, it was delicious! I've been to plenty of donut shops that didn't have fresh donuts that late in the day, but these were way better than expected. They weren't thick and cake-y like a Krispy Kreme donut, they were light and flakey, a perfect texture. Pretty cheap too; I don't remember the exact pricing but I left with 3 donuts for less than $3. I remember seeing a simple variety of glazes, toppings, and fillings, with an assortment of breakfast pastries as well - biscuit sandwiches and such. I imagine it's a tough time to start a new business, so if you can stop by for a sweet treat sometime you definitely should! We picked up 2 dozens. These were the BEST donuts I've ever had. they had a nice crisp on the outside and the inside was so fresh and soft. the flavors were wonderful. and honestly my favorite was just the glazed, because the donut was so good itself, it didn't need anything else! the maple bacon a 10/10, I'm not from here but I'm going to be asking my nephew to bring these when he comes to visit!! read more

These donuts are darn good. Absolutely worth a visit. There was a steady line of 10-15 people at 9 am on a Saturday. There isn't much seating or ambiance for lingering. It's definitely a grab and go place. The two people working were soft spoken and had an unhurried attitude but were incredibly efficient. This appears to be a true in house operation and when they are out of something they are out so I'd go in with a flexible mindset on specific donuts. Everything looks so fresh and amazing. Pricing of $1.19-1.69 a donut is on par with national chains but I'd head and shoulders above to the point it's like comparing apples and oranges. read more

Wow, what a find. Kinda weird not having the owners claim their own shop on Yelp. I told her about it but she looked confused. I think they are into making donuts and not reading reviews. That might be a good thing. We heard about this place from someone else so we had to make the drive from N. Greenville and try it. It wasn't a wasted trip either. This is a mom and pop locally owned establishment. They serve community coffee which is our favorite. Most people get take out but we ate in the dining room which there were only a few tables. This place doesn't really jump out at you, so you really need to be looking for it. We can't wait to go back. Awesome tasting donuts if all kinds. Lots of creme and chocolate. Did I say awesome? Mom and pop shop so we love supporting local. Exactly what you expect donuts to taste like, not the commercial 50-ingredient list ones. Just like when I was growing up. We will stand in line however long it takes just to get our hands on the original glazed and chocolate, which are mommy's favorites! But the kids love all the other fun selections. They sell out of many selections by 10am so get there early! I drive nearly 30 minutes for the long John's and apple fritters. People will get several dozen at a time and empty the stock.

Stopped in for treats, as we'd be on the road a while. Walked in and no one was at the counter. A lady making donuts looked up at me and kept doing her thing. She never said anything, motioned... nothing. My husband walked in a few minutes later and someone else came out to help. Both employees were incorrectly wearing masks...it's not that hard folks. We got the jalapeño cheddar kolaches. They were just ok. I was hoping the sausage was homemade but it wasn't and it was hard, as if it had been warmed many times. The sour cream donut was good. Had a great texture and consistency. The blueberry cake donut was actually better than my local shops. I loved it! The apple filled wasn't good. The filling was cold and too thick.
