Absolute star of a place. They run a tight ship but still have friendly service. It is in a small little strip mall close to downtown. But without downtown parking. Inside you will find a small little cozy space to sit with tons of local artwork on the walls. Super affordable compared to other artist scene. Outside there is some seating as well. Not super great because it's next to the parking lot but grateful to have it done less. The staff are super friendly, and the line moves fast so don't be intimidated. I got a breakfast sandwich and I was happy to see they did not have charge me for the veggie sausage or to switch my cheese out for cream cheese. Sounds gross but I swear it's good. My partner got the breakfast plate. Overall we were incredibly happy with the price and quality of the food. They had a ton of bakery items for sale and also very affordable pricing. This little cafe is tucked into a strip shopping center across from the college. It has the usual artwork on the walls and an ecletic feel to it. The small menu is fairly typical... sweet and savory breakfast fare ranging from egg dishes & sandwiches to bagels & muffins to waffles. Everything is served on disposable plates with disposable utensils. We ordered a basic breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon and toast. It looked just as it is described and tasted the same way. I went with a bagel. It was fresh and Sunrise does have a good assortment of bagels. The waffles weren't available so my daughter had a muffin. She loved it and it was definitely the best part of the breakfast. I found the food to be ordinary... nothing I would seek out. Prices were reasonable.. even low.. compared to the other breakfast joints in town. The coffee was good and strong. I think there are better breakfast options in Brevard if you want something more complex and don't mind higher prices. Sunrise is great for that quick stop to get a warm breakfast sandwich at a low price. read more

What a great Yelp find on a lazy Saturday. Strip mall location in Brevard, right across from the College. The seating is tight, but not overly so. Food was not bad but unimpressive. I got an omelet, home fries, and bagel. Others had the Burrito Supreme and a Breakfast Sandwich. Everything served on paper/plastic. The plate with my omlet and potatoes was stacked on top of my bagel with cream cheese. When I lifted the plate, it was stuck in the cream cheese... leaving it all on the underside of my plate.... and leaving whatever may have been on the underside of my plate IN my cream cheese bagel. One staff member was especially rude and had a horrible attitude. As I was finishing my meal I watched another staff blow their nose right in the area where coffee drinks are made/prepared...twice... and then continue on without washing their hands. Needless to say I didn't finish my food and left feeling nauseated. Not many breakfast options in Brevard, but definitely won't be back to this one. read more

Went here this morning around 10 for breakfast. I ordered the sweetheart omelette, which was a special for the day. Three eggs, tomato, mozzarella, artichokes, and onion. It's supposed to come with grits or home fries and your choice of bread, but since I am trying to follow a low carb and low sugar diet I swapped those sides out for sausage. They were super accommodating about making substitutions. The sausage was a little rubbery, but the omelette was great. Lots of veggies and cheese, and nice and fluffy. I got a fountain drink, but they also offer a variety of hot teas, coffees, and juices. My sister ordered an asiago bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese. For both of us to have breakfast and drinks, I only spent around $10. Other menu options included breakfast burritos, sandwiches, soups, smoothies, breakfast platters, and sides. The decor is cute and eclectic. Photos from the area, a pet wall where you can contribute a photo of your pet, and a colorful mural on the window. I'd totally go here again. read more

The food here is good, though you're dependent on your own service. Just keep that in mind. You take the menu to the counter and order and everything else is your own responsibility after they drop the food off. The menu, however, is lovely. Very interesting sandwich combinations and pretty nommy soup too. They've a full breakfast menu which seemed to be a big hit, but I was too caught up on the Dill Turkey Salad. Dill is like my kryptonite after all. Fresh ingredients, everything with that home-made feel like it came from your own momma's kitchen (if she was a good cook, that is). I definitely wouldn't try to go for brunch on a Sunday. It gets packed with locals and there's no real parking for it. Great sorta family atmosphere. (You can easily tell from color and consistency, waiter confirmed. The shrimp n grits were one of the worst I've had. It was like heavy cream was poured all over a side of grits as an afterthought.
