Excellent Grocery Store with a Great Deli Last year for my High School Reunion Picnic, we were asked to bring a side big enough to server four. Ended up taking a Seafood Salad and a Potato Salad that went over great. This year we decided to have another reunion and since the Deli was such a hit last year, decided to do a repeat performance. This time my wife picked out a Chicken Salad with Grapes while I went with Boneless Buffalo Chicken Wings Another home run. This store has a very large Deli with lots of selections. Good meats, a ton of cheeses, an olive bar along with a fruit bar and fresh soup on hand. All at great prices. Aside from the Deli, this is one of the larger Ingles.. Very well laid out, organized and well lit. Excellent selection in every department. Also has a great florist shop along with a Starbucks as you walk in the door. Living in Cornelius, the closest Ingles of this footprint is in Lincolnton about 25 miles away but the are building another one in Statesville about the same distance. In the meantime, I'll just keep dropping in each time I go to Brevard

I can't imagine how this small town can have such a big grocery store. I'm still pineing over this store. If only my local Publix could have the selection that this store has. The selection of GlutenFree free items alone would be worth the visit.

What I got - Primary Color Raggedy Rhonda and her dollar store extensions...Is not what I ordered.

Hi! Does this location do curbside grocery pickup? We are supposed to isolate before sending our daughter to camp.

I am looking at a nondescript $2.00 charge and I can't tie it to anything. No barcodes are used so it is all manually entered by the cashier with terms like non-food grocery, frozen food, dairy, candy. Upon entering you will get one of those old school square, flip-down grocery carts that haven't been seen since the 80s. This store holds a mishmash of random who-buys-this-stuff groceries. The store itself is pared down with no frills. Some deals seem too good to be true and this is when you REALLY need to check your dates. I picked up quite a few items and one canned item was out of date by almost a year. You will recognize some brands and others are random unknowns. You are going to come here basically to purchase canned and processed items. Some beans were 50 cents, etc. The cereal, while cheaper, is also questionable. It's September and I saw Easter-themed Peeps cereal. Unfrosted pumpkin Pop-Tarts. Cans of soda that something else had exploded on. Potato chips that are normally $3.50 for $2.50. But that sale price can be found at most stores so know your prices. Mini packs of tissues for 2 for $1.00. Brandless brand Nutella for $1 but sells for $3 on their website. Fresh produce: There is a small section with some things that are struggling to stay fresh. I did get some nice green peppers and one cucumber. Meat: Husband found some expired items I found some blueberry biscuits that I recently purchased at a regular grocery store and they were four for one dollar (no, you don't have to buy all four). I got them home only to realize they were expired by two weeks. That date did not say Best By either. There is a lot of waste with groceries and food in the world and I am not saying these things should be thrown out, but due diligence is also required here. Your receipt will only be filled with generic prices relating to the department they come from so you may want to watch as they enter prices. Bar codes are not used. If I were pressed on money I would come here. As I stated, if you know your prices you might be better off spotting sales at other standard stores. PS - no one should be buying canned vegetables and beans at dollar stores unless you are in a food desert. Canned vegetables and beans are always cheaper at grocery stores.

All was well until I reached the check-out counter and placed my credit card into the device for posting charges. No charges of items I had brought to the check-out counter appeared on the display of the device as the cashier scanned them. Rather, a window requesting my signature appeared after the cashier had apparently scanned all the items which I had brought to the check-out counter. I told the cashier I wanted to see the listing of charges before I signed and she told me I could see them listed on a display above the cash register, but i was able to see only a few of the items I had hoped to buy and the cashier said she was unable to scroll through the entire list because the display was not sensitive to touch. I was insistent about seeing my charges before agreeing to pay them. The cashier asked if I would like to speak to the manager and I told her I would. She summoned a young man who tried to get the list printed for me but he was not successful and he summoned another older man who may have held a higher position than the first man. That older man, too, was unable to obtain a printed list of items and their costs, either at the register where I was or at another machine inside an administrative area. That older man returned to the check-out area where I was waiting and said that he could not cancel the pending transaction and said that after I had signed the display originally mentioned I could get a print-out of my charges. He added that my credit card would be charged no matter if I signed or not. I questioned that statement. The older man then said that If I would sign the display he wouild give me my money back, if I requested it. I declined that offer and the older man asked me why, adding that, "It's the same thing." I said I would not sign the authorization for a charge to my credit card unless I had a listing of what I was being charged for and their prices. The older man then told me to "Get out of my store." I asked him why he had told me to leave and he told me that we had no more business to conduct.
