Great variety of products as well as a wonderful deli offering Boars Head meats and cheeses, as well as cooked southern dishes, fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, different vegetables and cobbler options. Excellent Grocery Store with a Great Deli Last year for my High School Reunion Picnic, we were asked to bring a side big enough to server four. Ended up taking a Seafood Salad and a Potato Salad that went over great. This year we decided to have another reunion and since the Deli was such a hit last year, decided to do a repeat performance. This time my wife picked out a Chicken Salad with Grapes while I went with Boneless Buffalo Chicken Wings Another home run. This store has a very large Deli with lots of selections. Good meats, a ton of cheeses, an olive bar along with a fruit bar and fresh soup on hand. All at great prices. Aside from the Deli, this is one of the larger Ingles.. Very well laid out, organized and well lit. Excellent selection in every department. Also has a great florist shop along with a Starbucks as you walk in the door. Living in Cornelius, the closest Ingles of this footprint is in Lincolnton about 25 miles away but the are building another one in Statesville about the same distance. Love this store! It has Everything!! Even the Ladies Room has fresh flowers!! The frozen area is huge! I've never seen a frozen area this large and so much variety! So impressive! Every area .. so much! The Deli area is something else!! Areas to order: Chicken ( The BEST CHICKEN!!), Chinese, Subs. Pizza, Sushi, Sandwiches, huge Salad Bar, Olive Bar, Chicken Wing Bar, 3 Soup Stations, and I'm probably missing more!!! So much variety of prepared foods! Theres an area to eat that food, too! There's a beautiful Cut fruit area, Best Deli meat and cheese area! The Poultry meat area is as big as some stores...whole meat area! Bakery area large, too! Every time I come to get gas, customer service is rude as hell. Last time, I tried to pay $100 in gas for my TRUCK because I wasn't sure how much it was about to take and they would not accept my money because I didn't know how much I was going to be putting into it. I left and went to another gas station. This time I had to leave my debit card and ID inside to pump gas for some unknown reason, which I've never ever had to do at any gas station even when traveling. Get better cashiers, who are actually NICE and not rude about it. I honestly probably wouldn't have a problem leaving my debit card or id if they were actually nice about it. I got Primary Color Raggedy Rhonda with nylon clip-on extensions who was left in the yard through one too many rainstorms... We visit this area regularly and always find ourselves at this Ingles for a variety of goods, starting with picnic foods. The store has a wealth of ready-to-go items, including delicious chicken salad and pimento cheese, and lots of salad-making foods. Very handy for our picnicking trips up to the Pink Beds or the Parkway. Their deli staff is friendly, though the cashiers not always so. That said, we believe the produce is usually fresh, and the store is large and fully stocked, and for our money it remains the best grocery in the Brevard area. read more

Being a Florida boy and one that appreciates a clean, organized and well-managed grocery store, means I obviously shop at Publix (popular chain of florida grocery stores)... but when in the western NC region, Ingles is the place to shop. Don't bother with Food Lion or others; I assure you Ingles is the only one to consider. Truth of the mater is I entered this location 3 years ago and remembered how much more I liked it over Publix (and I really like Publix)... like many Target stores, they have a Starbucks in the entrance. Visited recently and I realized my memory of Ingles was right on. They remind me of Whole Foods but with more options and considerably better prices. read more

As my wife has alluded to, we usually shop here to stock up on small groceries when we stay in the area. It's a no nonsense full-on super-duper mega-extreme grocer with a vast ocean of parking and their own self serve gas up front. Friendly staff...even a video rental section if you need it. Prices are not bad (compared to the Triangle), but they also carry some nice local items like Flying Frog hummus. On our last visit this Fall, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they sell Blue Bell ice cream in the frozen dairy section[1]. I snagged a pint to share with my wife...of course, binge eating through a pint in one night didn't help out the next day when we hiked up Looking Glass! Regardless, be sure to sign up for the ingles card to get better deals on prices. As a bonus, this particular store is open 24 hours. No free wifi AFAIK. I would rather go to the store in Mills River than to deal with the rude and unprofessional employees ( not all ) and poor management. Whenever we visit Brevard and stay at rental accommodations in town, we stock up on groceries at this location. The store is pretty huge with a great selection of quality produce, baked goods, dairy/cheeses, frozen foods, and pantry items. There's a Starbucks in-store where you can get your caffeine fix, and a section where you can buy or rent movies. They even carry locally-made gourmet products! Here's tip: you can get even cheaper prices if you sign up for the Ingles discount card. Ingles is definitely worth checking out for your grocery shopping needs in Brevard. read more

This is a superb grocery store. It is large and well stocked. I really like the selection of deli meats and cheeses and their bakery products. They have cappocolo, sopressata, mortadella. If you have never tried the Lebanon Bologna, try it. It does not taste like bologna. Rather, it is like a wonderful smoked salame. The bakery has bagels, mini baguettes and pastries. There is an international section and a health foods isle. Produce lines the walls near the entry and a lot of it is local. An olive bar sits in the deli area and a Starbucks is perched in the front of the store. read more

This Ingles is usually a good place to shop. All of the nice things people have said in other reviews are true. BUT... the person who bagged my groceries today was wearing his mask under his nose. When I pointed out that doing so did not protect him or me, he said (1) My beard is too big for me to pull it up and (2) It will be ok. Neither of these things are true. His refusal to be careful puts everyone around him at risk, including the very careful young woman working the cash register, who stands next to him for hours at a time. The management of Ingles should not tolerate this. read more

Just a wonderful grocery store! Ingles has a wide variety of organic produce as well as a broad selection of cheese, fresh breads and meat, poultry and seafood. This is a nice grocery store, so this review is solely about the cafe area of prepared food. I've tried the BBQ, which was cloyingly sweet, to the point that I couldn't eat it. On a different visit I also tried the Asian food- beef and broccoli and vegetables, which were overcooked and very salty; these were also inedible. I would not recommend anything from the hot bars, as the food is really terrible. On the other hand, the deli sandwiches are well made and the bread is fresh and very good. read more

Went to Ingles tonight, pleasantly surprised that Bryers Ice-cream was on sale for 2 @ $5.00, wow way to go Ingles. This Ingles has all the components that make a great grocery store: great selection of products, extremely friendly staff, and a well maintained and clean environment. Additionally, the hot and cold food bar, the handmade subs, and the Starbucks offer great to-go meal options. I always joke that I practically risk my life getting in and out of the parking lot, but being that this is one of the best grocery stores in town it makes sense that the parking lot is ALWAYS busy.
