worst pharmacy ever! - i have been lied to repeatedly by staff and the pharmacist - rude af -they…read moremake it complicated & difficult to get some prescriptions filled - its hard enough to be sick and in pain & then having to jump through hoops to get the medicine that has been ordered by a doctor! - they somehow seem to think they know medicine better than physicians - & once again they will lie straight to your face - as far as pharmacies go in brevard you have plenty of choices - walmart pharmacy brevard is one you should not make - i've been to many other walmart pharmacies & have always had good experiences - this one is abhorrent here are a few of the times they lied straight to my face - went to pick up a prescription and it wasn't ready yet - staff told me to sit and wait & they would get it ready - i sat and waited for an hour and 15 minutes - i finally went up to see what was taking so long - i was then told my insurance wouldn't fill the prescription yet (lie) - i asked why no one let me know as i was sitting right there waiting- staff told me "oh the system should have let you know" - complete lie - i was prescribed a medication that needed a prior authorization from insurance that was hung up for awhile - i needed the medication badly so i just told the staff that i would self pay for the first prescription- staff told me i couldn't self pay - i had to wait for insurance- complete crazy lie - i arranged to pick up a prescription one day early (according to an inane policy the pharmacy instituted) - spent 10 minutes on the phone working it out with a staff member who had to confer with the pharmacist and get things worked out before heading to the pharmacy - i only wanted to pick up that day as i had other prescriptions that were ready - i'm handicapped & running back and forth to the pharmacy is painful & difficult for me - i get to the pharmacy & the pharmacist & staff acted like they didn't know what i was talking about but not one of them would even look at me - so either the person i talked to on the phone lied to me & made quite a production out of it or the pharmacist lied to me once i arrived- by the way it was 7:00 pm when i arrived & the prescription was filled at 9:00 am the next morning- so petty & for what? - and then theres a need for the pharmacist to need to talk to my doctors to be sure they actually ment to prescribe the medications which creates chaos and delays in getting the treatment thats been ordered - this is just a few of the times i've been lied to here - truly a terrible pharmacy
