They then say they sent me the quote but can't provide any record of the email to show it was a "emailing mistake" (because this wasn't) This is nothing short of poor customer service, people falling through the cracks, and failure to follow up with customers. I'm glad we will be remodeling our kitchen with another company, after the runaround just trying to get a quote I would hate to experience actually working with them on a project. Had to wait until the next day as Rudi was not in that day, but I get a text 10 minutes after they opened saying my repair was ready picked them up, took them back to Jimmy and he popped the lens back in and adjusted them for me. He immediately asked me if I had Medicare and, when I responded in the affirmative, he recommended that I go to another store that he knew accepted Medicare. It should be known that although Medicare does not have an eyeglass plan, they do cover necessary eyeglass prescriptions for patients who have undergone cataract surgery. I probably would not have not this had he not told me. Since moving to this area of North Carolina, from out of state, my wife and I have been amazed at the ubiquitous honesty and kindness of the North Carolinians we have met. Jimmy was no different. On top of everything else, upon noticing the broken pair of glasses clenched in my hand, he offered to repair it for me and refused our attempt to pay him for this. We're glad to be living here.

Years ago when as a parent of an asthmatic daughter, my husband had abandoned us and left us without any money, this pharmacy GAVE me my daughters inhaler and steroids, without me asking or having to explain why I did not have the money. They didn't write it down and say "pay it later" ( which I did anyways 2 years later) That kind of business deserves to be supported and praised. Forever grateful! AB
