The food was delicious and was worth the price. The Milton location is one of our favorites to eat inside. I am sorry to have to say that out of the seven employees only four of them were in compliance for health policies. The other three were not, two were waitresses and the other was the cook. Waffle House has become an iconic part of the landscape of the southeastern United States. These yellow neon lit buildings have fed countless road weary travelers, families with laughing children in tow, late night revelers and people from every walk of life. This particular location is next to an Exxon and basically across the street from a KOA. There is a Holiday Inn and Suites behind it and a Best Western down the street from it. My go to choices are either the patty melt or one of their egg and meat breakfast options. But for me the big allure here has always been their hash browns. You can get the hash browns topped with a variety of toppings, you can't go wrong with chili and cheese, but really it is whatever talk to your heart. I guess you might find it odd that I have never had the waffles at a business where waffle is in their very name of the business but I am just not into the sweet type breakfasts. Whether waffles are your thing or not, I would recommend visiting a Waffle House, this location or any of their locations. read more

Located on Hwy 87 just off I-10 in Milton, Fl. We stopped here quickly on our way home from Navarre. Ran in to get an order to go. (ham n cheese omelet et & bacon, egg n cheese sandwich on toast etc). Was nicely greeted at the door then she motioned a waitress to take my order (they were packed!), who then immediately took my "special" order to go (with multiple specific requests), who then called it out to the cook and rang me out at the cashier, then bagged it all to go, we ate in our vehicle. Cooked to perfection, food was, by far, the best, service was excellent, and attitudes were great with these people. We were there & gone in less than 10 minutes--I know it seems hard to believe. If you near Milton Florida I-10, there is not much of choice on food selection. We are glad that we have a Waffle House there for our tight schedule traveling. Not the most ideal selection but do the job. I have order two pork chop with hash browns, sunny side up egg. I have special instructions to the food how it done. I like my chop burn edge and my hash browns crispy. The order was made to my order. They come out exactly like my order. I like the sunny side up egg with egg yolks still in liquid stage. The meal do need to add some salt. Food is ok level. Can't complaint. They service is good. Everything were delivered on time. Not much of wait for us who are in hurry. This morning we stopped in for coffee, hash browns with onions, tomatoes, and mushroom. Since two of us are vegan we refused the cheese offer. The hash browns came and were good until The second bite when I bit into a piece of ham! The staff could care less when I complained and gave me nothing but indifference. I pushed the plate away and finally asked the cook to remove it because it made me feel sick. His response was , "Fine" and he took it away. Very rude he was and was very bigoted against me. There is booth seating and there is also bar stool counter seating, where you come face to face with the staff, and where you can watch your chosen meal being prepared right before your eyes by the short order cook. This is probably the best Waffle House I've ever been to. We were greeted upon entering, menus on the table and ready for us to look at so that we could order. We had one server at the beginning but then she ended up leaving during our service. She was EXCEPTIONAL!! She was super friendly, told us about cheaper gas stations that were near by and then even helped us with questions about the menu. Once she left we were a little bummed but the next server was just as kind. I have never received this type of wonderful service at a Waffle House before and I've been to many all over different parts of the the south.
