The food, coffee, and service were all great here. We got the chilaquiles, lox bagel, and vanilla cold brew. My husband liked the lox bagel more but I really enjoyed the chilaquiles. Still great food and service, portions have become smaller, however, and open/friendly atmosphere an average prices. I brought the whole family, including 2 kids and a baby. My kids are picky, but always love this place. Courtney, our server, was absolutely perfect without being too imposing. My only critique is the chicken and waffles had fairly small portions of chicken. It was fine for my kiddo, but small for an adult. My wife and I each split 2 of their seasonal items, corned beef and hash fish, and Louisiana shrimp Benedict. Both were incredible, I preferred the Benedict and my wife preferred the corned beef. One of my kids ordered the adult chicken and waffles, which didn't look very good, but he enjoyed it. My other kiddo ordered chicken tenders and beignets and was happy. We stopped in for our first time for breakfast and I am sure it won't be our last. Jenny was our server and she did an excellent job. She went over the menu and explained to us their harvest specials and answered all our questions about the menu. They have such an excellent selection of breakfast items and every plate that walked past our table looked so delicious. We were thrilled with our Benedict's that we picked out and the crabcake Benedict was all crab and so delicious. My husband had the smoked salmon Benedict, and it was gone in a flash. Definitely not worth the $70 price tag for such a sub-par breakfast. I ordered the crab cake Benedict, and unfortunately, the crab tasted fishy. My husband got the shrimp and grits... the grits were fine, but the shrimp was tough and honestly tasted like it came straight from the Walmart frozen food section. The biscuit beignets looked promising when they came out, but they were over-fried and hard. From the chorizo and cheese omelette to the crawfish and shrimp omelette, everything felt thoughtfully built. Even the sides impressed--the biscuits and gravy were solid, and the pancakes had subtle touches of cinnamon and what tasted like anise that set them apart. Drinks followed the same pattern. Whether it was the half-price mimosa or a caramel cold brew, nothing felt standard--everything had a bit of a "foodie" upgrade to it. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the Supreme Omelette- sausage, bacon, onions and mushrooms, topped with Cheddar Jack cheese. Everything was delicious! So good, we are breakfast here twice! The atmosphere is so welcoming and has a southern charm. Everything we ate was delicious! The first attempt of the hash brown Benedict came out with hard boiled eggs on top (not exaggerating) what was supposed to be poached eggs.
