    Mimosa flight

I was in town for a few days and decided to sit at the bar for a bite. The bartenders Bea and Morgan were great! They explained everything well and offered great conversation. The mimosa flight was delicious and basically had a full bottle of champagne. The breakfast burger was also quite tasty. Will have to make sure I go again when I come back!

Celebrating my birthday with my wife today at Polonza Bistro was a real treat! We began with an appetizer of Pimento Cheese Fries, which are addictive! Then we got Chicken And Waffles and the Fried Steak And Egg Stack. Both were incredible with great flavor. Our waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and recommended the best food.

Top notch brunch. Steak and Eggs with home potatoes. Mimosa Flight was delicious. Lemonade mimosa was the best one

I ordered the scrambled eggs, bacon (well-done!), home fries, and toast. I accidentally received a biscuit instead of toast, but the food was so good that it didn't even matter. My food came out within five minutes of me ordering, my water was never empty, and the tables were spaced out far enough that I didn't feel like I was on top of anyone else. Hate that all other brunch spots have been ruined for me. I will certainly be back. I visited Polonza Bistro on 08/03/2025 around 2PM.

First time here, we were headed to the Pawdi Gras to get Lucy some dog time and decided to try for brunch. We seat outside which was a little cool but it had a nice feel to it. I had the Cajun Benedict and it was pretty good. Service was slow that's the main reason for the 3 stars. I would recommend trying your self to see what you experience

A pleasantly cozy brunch spot, good for smaller groups. We visited on Mother's Day and the efficiency of our server Thomas was admirable. My "Toad in the Hole" (fried egg on sourdough with arugula) might've been messy to eat, but it was very savory and my partner loved his sunrise burger- commenting on the quality of the croissant. The fries were FRESH. Thomas had an eagle eye on our water cup levels, we were impressed he noticed with how many guests he was attending to. The noise level is something to be wary of if dining with hearing-aid wearing loved ones; I overheard a couple saying it was very hard to hear with all the bustling. A week day might be better. The warmly lit restroom was surprisingly clean even with the rush. Sitting near the entrance on a busy day can be overwhelming as guests are constantly in line to wait, peering down at you finishing your latte. I would also recommend asking for a honey or lavender flavor if you order the latte, I found it quite plain. Amazing location, especially if it's a nice day, bring your furry friend and enjoy the outdoor seating they have.

My friends and I stopped in for brunch a couple weekends ago. This was my first time dining here, I had dinner plans so I wanted to order something lite. I went with the Brussel sprout appetizer and a side of fries. The Brussel sprouts were a very large portion. I did end up eating all of them, which was probably excessive. They were super crispy and flavorful. The fries were okay. Our server was very nice and friendly.

Oh em gee, the Stuffed French Toast was to die for, and the bacon... well, it was the ultimate sidekick! Together, they made breakfast perfection! Drinking the Lavender Latte was like a having a spa day with my coffee. It made my day 100% more instagrammable!

We arrived around 10:30 on a Wednesday morning and we were wrong to think that the place would be empty after an early breakfast rush. We were seating upon entering by Brooke who also was our server. The menu is varied and we found out that you can order anything at anytime. We had ordered the Spicy Pulled Pork omelette and Shrimp and Grits. Next time, we're thinking a Grouper sandwich as they were being enjoyed at two tables next to us and looked delicious. Our breakfast entrees arrived quickly. The omelette came with a choice of side and I chose the potatoes. They were seasoned but a bit cold and hard. Brooke offered to swap them out when checking on us, but by that time, I was filling up from the large packed omelette. It was filled with pork, peppers, onions and cheese with more spicy, sweet pork on top. I wish the entrees came with toast. The shrimp and grits were served over gouda grits as requested and the dish was spicy and filling. Definitely one of the best we tried in a while. Drinks were refilled promptly and Brooke took care of her guests quickly and with a smile.

I didn't care for the flavor in the shrimp batter and the fries were heavy coated with pepper. I generally like pepper, but it was a bit much. The grilled pork chop wasn't bad. The Fried Chicken was hot and delicious! The sides were way under seasoned, leaving me to doctor them with condiments. My wife really enjoyed the Chicken Fried Steak and Gravy with Mac n cheese and Fried Okra, which added to the comfort food enjoyment. My only wish would be, replacing the loud metal chair's on the concrete floors, which take away from the Blues Cafe Vibe. Glad we tried Five Sisters, but we will stick to our favorites in the future.

They hit that mark, but it cost me $40 with tax & tip. That is for just a salad and an order of french fries! The water came quickly in a real glass and tasted excellent. Very clean and cold, and greatly appreciated. Since it was a real glass I did not ask for a straw which is unusual for me. I enjoyed a nice view of the skatepark across the street as I dined, and watching all the people having a good time in the outdoors was refreshing. Most restaurants don't offer a view like this. There are a set of dining bars with chairs at the windows on either side of the door to amplify the view, but I opted for a traditional table since there were many available when I entered. As for the food... well, it was good, but not great. The $14 iceberg wedge was dotted with some delicious pancetta and gorgonzola cheese, and the lettuce was super fresh and crisp. Where it missed the mark was the overly mayonnaisey dressing. It really needed some more seasoning or something and I could not taste any buttermilk at all, even though it is called a "herb buttermilk dressing." The single cherry tomato (halved) was delicious and sweet, as were the 4 thin slices of radish. While the presentation was nice, it really needed more tomatoes and radish in my opinion, and a stoutly buttermilk dressing. The duck fat fries were crisp, too crisp. I enjoy the soft mushy potato inside the crispness of lard-fried potatoes, but very few of these offered that. They were generally too crisp, and some were crispy all the way thru making them a solid crisp. They came mostly unseasoned so I had to use the salt shaker generously. The sausage bits were good but a bit on the greasy side. The dipping sauce was mild, bland and oily, and I wished they had offered a ketchup alongside as well. Whether homemade or store bought, ketchup would have added color and some much needed acidity to the plate. Your mileage will vary, but for me, there are better options in my price range and this is not a place I can take hungry teenagers.
