Our server had to come back and ask for clarification, and what I received felt more like a flavored iced coffee with a shot rather than a true iced double espresso. I also had to add my own cream, which made it seem like hot coffee might be more their specialty. The food itself was solid, though a bit on the pricey side. The scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast were decent. The poached egg with salmon on grilled eggplant and arugula was tasty, and the home fries were a standout--unexpectedly excellent. Service was attentive and kind throughout, which I appreciated. However, the wait time after ordering was noticeably long, and there was a 3% convenience charge for using a debit card, which was noted on the receipt. I don't typically give less than 4 stars, but this feels like a place that could easily improve with some small adjustments.

Their food is always always top notch though, unique menu items that always work well and super fresh and flavorful. The outside seating is great to get the palafox street vibe but inside the ambiance is really cool with New Orleans/Jazz decor and cozy seating.
