Avocado Toast egg, tomato, arugula, sunflower seeds, honey balsamic drizzle and a side of potatoes.. loved every bite!
Susan M.

Awesome breakfast with unique and variety of menu items to make all five of us so happy. I had the Avocado toast with egg, arugula, honey balsamic, sunflower seeds and tomatoes and I didn't leave a crumb! Our party also had the Shrimp and Grits, Chicken and waffles, Bistro platter and the Amazing Chocolate chip Pancake. You will not regret trying this out. Our server was so very gracious to accommodate some special requests from adults and children alike.

Fantastic little brunch spot (or dinner, just haven't tried it yet). Used to come here a fair amount and not much has changed aside from a nice remodel inside. Food and service are still excellent!

The best meal I had during our vacation in Pensacola! My husband swung by one morning and grabbed us a couple of coffees and breakfast sandwiches to go. He came back to the condo and told me how cute the restaurant was and how friendly the staff was too. He ordered ahead and came in to pick up. They didn't make our coffee ahead of time because they wanted it to be as fresh as possible. It's a little thing, but those little things can make all the difference. We really appreciated the thought. We really wanted a good breakfast before hitting the road to go back home. A lot of places in Pensacola aren't open until 10 or later but Cafe Bistro was open and ready to serve! We already knew we liked it from our quick breakfast earlier in the week, so we decided to come back and dine in. It is a really small cafe with not a lot of seating and no space to wait on a table inside. We luckily got the last available booth back by the kitchen. Our waiter was great and so was the man who sat us and made our coffees. I feel like this restaurant is very family oriented and it seemed to run like a well-oiled machine. I ordered the steak and eggs which really hit the spot. The steak was great and the breakfast potatoes it came with were so well seasoned. My brother got strawberry banana pancakes. He said they were some of the best he's ever had, and you could just tell by seeing how thick and fluffy they were. In fact, he said that every meal a waiter carried past us looked like it belonged in a food magazine. My husband and I also ordered iced vanilla lattes and those really hit the spot. If we find ourselves in Pensacola again, I'd have 0 hesitations about coming here every single morning for breakfast. It was easily my favorite!

First and foremost .... SKYLER is the epitome of what any company would be grateful to have in their employ. Friendly, knowledgeable and makes a perfect latte! Now the food ... hats off to the chef! Delicious!!!! These are hands down THE BEST pancakes I've ever had! Now the question ... when are you opening one up in Vegas?

Delicious! First time here and the cafe is not only cute and quaint, but the service and food is good too! We were greeted by the nice lady at the counter and were shown the menus and told we can sit anywhere. I ended up ordering a cappuccino and alana benedict, which had such unexpected flavor! Didn't even need hot sauce. Overall, nice spot on the island to have breakfast.

We like to do the beach loop from Navarre to Pensacola beach. It cuts through the gulf island national seashore and is a majestic drive with water on either side of you. Stopping at the local is going to be a given now on this loop. We enjoyed iced lattes and my husband had the breakfast burrito. They had a really good menu. Lots of different items and espresso based coffees. I want to go back and try the chicken salad wrap. The place is redone and very clean. I didn't go upstairs, but I think it's a liquor store. The downstairs has your standard market fair but with fresh produce which is a plus! It also has cute locally made items like the candles I photographed and some body oils. I found the Crew working the day I went to be a little lackluster, but they still made us great drinks and a great burrito so I really can't complain. They also let me use the restroom when I spilled my iced latte all over my white T-shirt. Aye! So glad I found this place. They have great style and I truly enjoyed the vibe of this humble market!

Not surprising though considering the lackluster lazy service on top of the horrible garbage food. Just because you get vegan food doesn't mean you want to eat flavorless, overly salty or oily food that tastes like ash. If you prefer to use words like rancid, inedible, unsalvageable, carbonized or say tastes like ash, it's beyond redemption/saving, tastes or has a charcoal bitter aftertaste, rubbery and charred, extremely oily or extremely salty for "good food" and like lacksadaisical customer service then you should go here.

However, the front desk person firmly suggested that I pay for the rest of my party ahead of time, so I paid for 3 additional people. Unfortunately, 2 people from our party did not show up. When I asked for a refund for the 2 unused tickets, I was told they could not do that. I then politely asked if we could receive a credit for another visit since I had paid for tickets that were never used. The front desk person said they do not offer refunds or credits and pointed to a small note about the policy. My issue is that this policy was not clearly explained when I was encouraged to purchase the extra tickets before my full party arrived. We really enjoyed the cat playtime, and everyone working on the floor was wonderful. However, the customer service at the front desk was very disappointing. Because of how this situation was handled, we will not be returning. We would have gladly come back again and again, and we were even considering making a donation, but instead they chose to keep $40 for two unused tickets and lost our future business, as well as my recommendation to friends. Very disappointing experience.

He was friendly, outgoing, and helpful in a genuine way. Not one of those annoying, phony, over the top sugary types. Just a great guy serving great food. We both ordered the smashburger of the month, which, Dec 2025 was a double smash burger with arugula, pecan smoked bacon, goat cheese and fig jam. I ordered Cajun spiced onion rings with mine, and my husband got plain French fries with his. Jared recommended their remulade dip that comes with the gator bites to dip our onion rings and fries in, and it was spicy and scrumptious. The burgers were amazing, better than expected. Fries and onion rings were perfect. Crispy and not greasy. Same goes for the bacon on our burgers. No slimy, greasy bacon! It was cooked to a nice crispy texture but not at all burnt and still held that great flavor! The restaurant was decorated for Christmas with Buddy the elf and it looked great. Restrooms are next door shared with the bar and are clean and well kept. Excellent all around. Highly recommend!
