Great beach views! Naked yellowfin tuna blackened cooked Paytin wad an attentive server, refilling my drinks when needed. I sat in upper deck in back - an a/c unit at door made horrible noise my entire dinner.

We are local and I had never tried this place. I didn't realize it was connected to Flounders and McGuires. The food did not disappoint. My mom loved her fried shrimp. I got the shrimp salad and it was HUGE. My only complaint would be you can't eat it easily with so much stuff. I asked for a second plate and took out som of the lettuce so I could mix it up. Shrimp was cooked perfectly. We sat out on the deck and could see the water. We will return.

Very nicely themed crab decor! They have an attached gift shop for souvenirs. The strawberry smoothie was a nice nonalcoholic option. The fried honey buns were great! Very filling so be careful!! The appetizers we ordered were the chicken wings and stuffed crabs. Both very delicious. The crab bisque was definitely not for me. It was way too under-seasoned and disappointing. I ordered the crab cake with shrimp and enjoyed it. The pineapple coleslaw was surprisingly very yummy, as someone who doesn't normally like coleslaw! I would definitely order again. My friends all ordered the shrimp boil. As people from Louisiana, we have definitely had better shrimp boils. This one was more just like boiled shrimp. A little underwhelming for being the entree. Our server Isaac was a good server and thorough with the descriptions of the menu!

    Can confirm.

You can't miss this place: just look for the huge, red building that pretty much blocks the view. But hey, once you get inside, the windows open up to Pensacola Bay and you get a beautiful look. Crabs on the Beach is very much a party going on. It is fairly loud, there is a lot of swag, and the drinks are huge. If you're feeling saucy, then give the Crabs' Jar O' Rum a look. A mason jar filled with pineapple & orange juice, dark rum, and coconut rum, served over ice and easy to drink. It helps wash down what is run-of-the-mill shrimp and crab, which is not to say that it is low quality, it's just that they could do so much more. Their sushi game has quite a range, both nigiri and sashimi, and is crafted fresh daily. Salmon & yellowfin tuna are featured and the rolls have all kinds of variety. But don't miss the poke bowls featuring tuna, salmon, pickled veggies, and more. The bowls are fresh and sensational, and here's a tip: this might be the best to-go item on the menu, because it's not fried nor hot and the flavors have more time to blend on the way home. Service is good but not great, and seating is plentiful. The view on the second level is pretty spectacular on a sunny day with the calm & shimmering sea laid out before you. Enjoy the view, maybe turn a blind eye to the level of noise, and savor some seafood. *And skip the Crab Nachos. They're overrated and the portion size is obscene, with chip-to-protein ratios that are heavy on the corn side. Lesson learned.

Crabs on the Beach in Pensacola was awesome! We ordered the shrimp nachos and the snow crab and everything was absolutely delicious. The shrimp nachos were loaded and full of flavor, and the snow crab was fresh and perfectly cooked. We ended up doing takeout so we could eat right on the beach, which made the whole experience even better. There's nothing like great seafood with an ocean view. The food traveled well and still tasted amazing. Definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're in Pensacola!

I love this place! their food and service was great. Should out to Emily who served us on the patio. I highly recommend to sit on their patio as you get an amazing view of the beach. The crab boil and oysters were the best!

This is the second time we are visiting the same place. We had such a wonderful visit last time we wanted to come back. We ordered bloody Mary's and frozen margaritas, shrimp taco and mango shrimp salad. Our server was Elijah and he was very attentive and kept checking on us. We sat outside and there was a live performance and also presentation by the chef. We were surrounded by very nice people and we felt like home.

Took my family for a fun and delicious dinner at a favorite place , Crabs on Pensacola Beach. Always great service, nice view, and good food.

We all really enjoyed this dining experience. The view of the water from the outdoor balcony seating area is amazing! Our server was fantastic and all the food was delicious! The scallops wrapped in bacon were memorable, I could have eaten another order!

Crab claws and crab trap were great, great view of Pensacola Beach, and friendly staff.

The two of us were seated immediately on the outside patio. A talented musician played and sang, and we had a beach view with turquoise waters lapping up on the white sand beach. There is a large free parking lot since Crabs is on a public beach. Our server Alexis stopped by, gave us the rundown, and brought us water while we decided what to drink. I had a crabwacker and a water. As expected, it was really a tasty dessert. For our appetizer, we got the crab and shrimp balls that had a catchy name I forgot. It was lunchtime, so my hubby and I split the grouper plate. We had the grouper blackened, a side of French fries, and slaw instead of the asparagus. We asked for a side of starter that we only used for the very blackened pieces of grouper and their fries. We had a treat while on the patio as one of the chefs came out and showed us how he fillets a red snapper.

This restaurant is on a beautiful white sand beach! Our waitress was great and attentive, even though it was clearly busy. The fried fish lacked in seasoning; I actually sprinkled a bit of salt on it to try to make it better. I think the seasoning for the fish went to the fries because those were some of the tastiest fries! The stuffed crabs were the best! I'd go back, specifically, for those!

What all is in the she-crab soup?

Milk/ Cream ,butter , seafood broth and real crab pieces /shreds - she crab is a female crab supposedly sweeter -very rich and comes with a side shot glass of sherry to put on top and stir it in - very tasty just get the cup since it's very rich

I'm on the waiting list, wjats ? What's my wait time?

How do I get on the waitlist?

You have 2 options. You can either go there in person and be put on the waitlist. Or you can use the yelp app and get on the waitlist through the Crabs page. I'm not positive if you have to still check in with the host after going on the waitlist… Read more

Since the three of us in our group aren't big eaters, we asked to split a portion of everything we ordered, and she didn't blink an eye. We started with the BBQ shrimp, which was fantastic! It's not a heavy, traditional BBQ flavor--it's more of a rich, New Orleans-style sauce. With six shrimp total, it was perfect for splitting, especially with the delicious bread served alongside it to soak up that amazing sauce. Nom!! Two of us split the wedge salad, and Brittany happily accommodated our special request for ranch instead of blue cheese. Our other friend had the kale salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. For the main course, the three of us split the filet mignon, which came with a dollop of mashed potatoes. The char on the steak was absolutely fabulous, and the potatoes paired with it perfectly! The restaurant is fairly dark and can get a bit noisy on busy nights, but we enjoyed our time immensely. Grand Marlin has private rooms and is easily the most high-end restaurant on Pensacola Beach. Our total was $178.00 before tip, which is well worth it. The attire ranges anywhere from dressy to beach casual, they have several great seating options for special occasions, and there's even a gift shop with some great finds. For anyone who remembers, this used to be the Boy on a Dolphin years ago. As an honorary Pensacolian since 1975, I consider myself a bit of an expert on all things Pensacola Beach--and you won't be disappointed here! Pro tip: Get a group photo by the bay before leaving. Even at night, it shows off those perfect Pensacola views.

I had to ask the host to find someone after waiting 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. Ordered the tuna poke nachos and a Harvest salad. Salad was large and tasty. Nachos were a large plate of chips with 15 pieces max of tiny cubes of tuna. That's AFTER taking the advice of our waitress to double the tuna. (Of course for an up-charge). We confirmed with her since it was so few pieces, and she said yes, 4 ounces of tuna. The sauces were tasty but so not worth the price tag. There were several large tables full of people around us and a live musician, so the noise level - on the outside patio even - was super loud. We had to yell to each other at our table.
