Got the Southwest Scramble (the one with chorizo) but had them make it into an omelet. Potato seasoning was so good, no ketchup was needed. They even allowed me to stay and read after I was finished. Time for brunch! Delicious food! The wait was about 45 minutes but that's to be expected on a Sunday at brunch. Once we were seated the food came fairly quickly and we were pleased with everything. I had the soft shell crab scrambler and it was delicious! Soft shell crab on top of scrambled eggs? Yes please! My only complaint is the server asked would I like city grits or butter grits and told me what city grits were and I said city grits. I know this is a chain, and sometimes gets a bad wrap. But my experience was phenomenal, great service that was fast and efficient had the shrimp and grits, and they were right on point. Came here for breakfast on a busy morning but they got us in pretty quickly. Our waiter was attentive despite it being busy and he was willing to adjust my order after I asked my eggs be cooked a little longer. They accidentally brought the wrong meal out to my husband but they quickly rectified it and brought him his correct meal. One of the managers even came by our table to make sure we were good and ensured my order would be back out right away. The beignets are not too big and they are tasty and our meals were good. We were so disappointed with this place. We went for breakfast on a Friday morning. It was our 1st and will be our last time eating here. The staff were extremely welcoming and nice. We had sausage, gravy and grits and classic eggs benedict and grits. The waitress was pleasant but was not attentive with any coffee refills nor was the manager when he walked around refilling coffee to other patrons. The biscuit and gravy was tasty but the grits were very undercooked and chewy. The eggs benedict was horrible. The eggs were doused with spicy thin hollandaise sauce and the english muffins were small, thin and tough to eat. The ham was overcooked and again the grits were way undercooked and chewy. I just want to say the rating is based off of what I got to eat. I choose to have the Monterey Power Omelette and it is a hard PASS. The only positives about my meal was the biscuit and the fruit were delicious. The actual omelette flavors just did not work at all together. On the other hand everybody else and their mommas food around me looked delicious! I should have had the French toast that I had my eye on or the broken egg chicken biscuit . We absolutely love dining at Another Broken Egg. We always have amazing food, service & coffee. This trip I had the Pumpkin waffles which were incredible. My husband isn't a fan of pumpkin flavored things and he enjoyed these. The pecans and the cinnamon butter gave these waffles the little something extra. So good. My husband had the Lobster Benedict and and Irish coffee. The Benedict was on an everything bagel and the asparagus was sautéed to perfection. The lobster was in a bisque like sauce and was delicious and had the perfect amount of spices. Once again, we enjoyed everything here. You can also buy one of these adorable coffee mugs. The folks working today were great. We came with suitcases in hand because we had Uber drop us off on the way to the airport. They found us a place to sit where we could have our bags with us. They all were very kind and attentive. This place came via multiple suggestions from people we spoke with. My wife and I each ordered an omelette. Saw a lot of good reviews about GF items. Came here with my family while visiting my brother for his Navy retirement ceremony. Shared GF rum pecan pancakes, sausage patties, eggs over easy, biscuit, supreme omelette with grits fully loaded ( bacon, smoked goods, chives). The food was very good! The biscuit was soo good I didn't think it was GF! I didn't get sick at all. They prepared my food separately, brought it out on its own tray, it was all marked. The service was meh at best. My soda glass was empty for at least 10 minutes and the waitress brought my refill in a to-go cup. I didn't ask for a to-go cup. Well the new owners have taken over and the food has gone downhill ever since. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because they have a great hostess and wait staff. The food I would say is now a 2. I generally get eggs Benedict the ham used to be a thick nice piece of smoked ham with very little fat. Now it's thin and the last time I ordered it was the hard end of the ham. My husband gets French toast with scrambled eggs, and if he's getting two scrambled eggs...they are robin eggs. The quality of the food is really suffering now. We have probably gone through 30+ locals cards there and we won't be going back. Such a shame always our favorite place for breakfast. Removed 2 of the stars. We went back this past Friday November 1st, and the food was even worse than before. The bacquezo omelet had no sour cream in it, nor was it cooked in the garlic butter also had an awful smell so I didn't even eat mine. Husband asked for crispy bacon and it wasn't at all. Wow did this place live up to the hype! We arrived at 0900 on a Saturday and waited about 10-15 minutes. I love that they text you when your table is ready. As soon as we were seated we were greeted by our friendly and high energy server. She took drink orders and had immediate suggestions as we looked at the menu. We started with a half order of the Biscuit Beignets. They come with a delicious marmalade dipping sauce. I had the ABE Famous Infused Mary and it was so deliciously peppery and spicy! We then got down to business with the Mardi Gras Omelette and the Lobster and Brie Omelette. Both were good but the lobster felt decadent! This was our first time here as we are getting ready to move to the area & cane this weekend to check things out & trying to find great food establishments. Have been coming to this location for over 8 years. Have noticed a decline in the food quality as of the past few visits. My wife's special today was the Lobster Benedict. Eggs were not poached, almost hard boiled, missing the crispy fried onions, and the hollandaise sauce looked like it was made hours ago and didn't hold up Staff was awesome as always Space needs some capital spent as it's liking tired. Paint is chipped everywhere, and the booth seats are all cracked and look really bad!
