I came to this breakfast/brunch spot on the many positive reviews I saw online. I lucked out when I arrived, found a place to park quickly and then when I got inside a spot had opened up at the bar! I ordered an order of beignets and they came with a very citrus tasting lemon dip. They were hot and fresh and just as good alone as they were in the dip! I ordered a milk and an orange juice and then proceeded to order the Baquezzo Omelette which is filled with cream cheese and bacon, and had a lot of chorizo both inside and on top of the omelette. I also ordered a side of bacon and a side of sausage. The breakfast/brunch was delicious, and very breakfasty! Anyone looking for a good breakfast spots that serves drinks up well? Delicious! We were looking for a yummy breakfast and this hit the spot. You know when there are a lot of patrons at a breakfast place at 8 AM on a Tuesday, then it has to be good. There was a mix of business professionals and families when we visited. The restaurant is big, so lots of room for everyone! We were seated promptly upon arriving and thrilled to see so many offerings on the menu. I went with the huevos rancheros with scrambled eggs and a side of potatoes. This did not disappoint. The tortillas were fried and very crispy, there were a large portion of eggs that were covered in melted cheddar, and under them was a flavorful mixture of black beans, peppers, and garlic. The dish came with salsa and sour cream - I also added some hot sauce. I highly recommend this meal! We didn't get the opportunity to try the cocktails this time but hope to in there future! They had some interesting options, such as an apple pie mimosa pitcher and a champagne mule. read more

The worst scrambled eggs I've had since eating tray rations on active duty in the field. Hard & rubbery; what the heck breakfast joint? Bloody Mary was not great. But rarely do I consume, so I'm not a great judge. Too thick & tomatoey, I poured water in to thin it out a bit. As a party of 2, we ordered hash brown Benedict and shrimp Benedict. They were quite busy and we had to wait a long time for our food. It came out cold and the eggs on both dishes were almost hard-boiled. The shrimp Benedict was also extremely salty and swimming in grease. We sent them both back; the redone dishes were better but still very salty. No apology from management, even when we asked about a discount for our trouble. The manager said that they don't comp or give discounts for re-making food. When we explained further, she gave us a 10% discount on the two entrees (less than $4 total) with no other comment or apology spoken to us. She walked in front of us and ignored us. She was very rude and unprofessional, even as we were very patient and polite. We will not return! read more

Really not sure where to start. We've eaten here, a couple if times and everything was good; we decided to order online, doesn't give you the option to order by phone. We live in the downtown area, about two miles away. Their app says our food is ready for pickup. My husband goes to pickup and no one can find our order or our order number. They even get the manager. So now after showing our order number and correct location, they are working on our order, and my husband is waiting thirty minutes. I would definitely refrain from ordering online. When he gets home with our food, order is wrong and cold. read more

This happens to be our second choice which ended up being the best choice. I went ahead and reserved a spot through yelp because it said there'd be a wait, and thank god I did. Instead of waiting 45mins, our wait was 20mins. As we were waiting there was an older gentleman that worked there serving everyone assorted fresh mini muffins. I ordered the supreme omelette and my buddy ordered the Lobster grits. The portions were very large and I ended up taking my biscuit and half my omelette home, my buddy did the same. We ordered the shrimp benedict which was a LOT of food and super yummy and the bacquezo omelette which was also bomb. They really nailed the potatoes because they were HEAVENLY. The peach Bellini was also delish. Our food came out really quickly and our waitress checked up on us often. She was super nice and got our orders correct. Cant complain at all about the service. This place was POPPIN. We waited well over an hour despite checking in early on Yelp but it definitely is a brunch place worth some hype. We decided to shoot across the bridge early Sunday before church to enjoy breakfast before heading back to the beach. Clean and comfortable restaurant they were able to seat us quickly. The decorations were adorable and the restaurant temp was very comfortable. Our waitress was an absolute pleasure! I went to the restroom and by the time I got back(which wasn't long) she already had our drinks on the table. We asked about a few choices and ordered based on her recommendation and she was spot on! Same deal, and plate had ketchup on the side. Third try, they finally got it and it was delicious. Service was disappointing; that server ought to have known better than to bring that second plate out. This place is amazing!!!! Everyone is so friendly and the food is wonderful. Don't be deterred by the long wait and use the Yelp online wait-list, it cuts down on the wait tremendously. If there is a down side is parking which can be tricky. Try to load everyone into one vehicle if possible. Lemon curd french toast is so scrumptious...and the breakfast potatoes.... OMG. If you like bubbly their mimosa lineup is a must! Alexa over at the bar is so fantastic and there's a server with super curly hair that is so sweet and goes above and beyond! Gotta let it out there that the only reason I'm giving them a 4/5 is because of my first experience here years ago. It was sub-par for all across the board. My most recent visit earned a solid 5/5. I was delighted and quite frankly, relieved that Another Broken Egg exceeded my expectations. Of course this is one of Pcola's most popular brunch spots so arriving at 0930 landed us a half hour wait and unfortunately there is no indoor waiting area so you have to smolder outside on the benches in the humid Florida sunshine. We finally got seated and were so fortunate to land the best waitress in the place!!! She was hilarious! The food was top notch all around the table and the portions was massive! We arrived at the front desk, no one ahead of us or behind but the hostess and 4 members of waitstaff were too busy visiting among themselves to acknowledge our presence for about 5 to 10 minutes. We were eventually seated in a corner next to a large table and were promptly ignored. No one came to greet us or take an order for 15 minutes. A couple came in after us and were promptly waited on so we left and went to Ruby Slipper Cafe--much better experience there. We have been coming to this Broken Egg location since they first opened and have noticed the quality has been going steadily downhill for a few years now. Best breakfast place in town! My favorite is the Mardi Gras with added lump crab meat. I've tried several items on the menu and I'm never let down. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that it has recently changed management and it feels like they are starting to cut corners. the first thing I noticed is they don't have to go coffee cups, just cups with soda lids where you have to use a straw. I, personally, don't mind paying more for the same quality and service, but once I start noticing cuts in the food quality, I'll stop going here. That's my only concern. A wonderful breakfast spot I stumbled upon in my way to downtown Pensacola, & I'm so thankful I found this happening eatery. The location is busy and from what I hear they're busy nonstop I love the fact that they offer where you can sit by the bar so we went straight to the bar and were able to sit down and get waited on you right away. With a full bar available I opted for a mimosa they have everything from traditional to some pretty flavorful ones I selected a strawberry confection one, & it was delicious & very refreshing. For my meal I selected the Mardi Gras omelette it consisted of shrimp, crawfish, tomatoes cheese, and a tomato hollandaise sauce oh & some sausage in it as well. I am also included an English muffin and some cheesy grits. The breakfast came out nice and quick hot and fresh I can't wait to return read more

Today we were sat in Míchelle's section, we waited for 10 minutes. She never came. We waited, ultimately with less than 30 minutes before they closed 2pm (we got there before 1pm). We left. Food was delicious but minus 2 stars for the poor service. The city grits, shrimp and grits, bananas foster pancakes and cinnamon roll french toast was incredibly delicious. The coffee and hot chocolate was also great. We arrived on a weekday with a group of 10. I did deduct 2 stars because the server just seemed overwhelmed by a large table and clearly irritated when we asked about missing or incorrect orders. Our server did receive help from another server and even the manager during our visit. While I am always understanding of a few glitches or staggered meal delivery with a large table, we had more than our share of incorrect items, missing items and one in our party did not receive his meal until after everyone else had finished there's. That was really the kicker for me. The manager did stop by our table and offered an apology and a discount on that meal (-$3.75) I however believe that entire late entree should have been comped. It was also very awkward when our server came back to show me her table ticket included the correct and missing items and insisted the kitchen messed it up and not her. I thought that was unprofessional and tacky. Really all she needed to do was politely switch out the incorrect items and apologize and put a rush on the missing ones but a bad attitude only makes things worse. I would give them another try with just a friend or two as the food was really yummy. However, no more large family meals here for us. I just don't think that is in their wheelhouse. read more

Excellent choice for breakfast - I wanted a traditional Eggs Benedict and they had that option, as well as 5-6 more upscale versions. I'm a sucker for the good ol' Benedict, so I got that one with a side of potatoes and a cup of coffee. It had a nice friendly atmosphere, wait staff was quick and efficient, the greeter placed me at a cozy table and service was quick, efficient, friendly, all you could ask for. The eggs were perfectly poached, the ham was delicious, the English muffins were perfect! I know if I had gone another route - pancakes or omelets, I would have had the same top-quality meal. My husband and I came here with high expectations considering all the good reviews. It was my first time visiting Pensacola as my husband is currently temporarily stationed here. To say we were disappointed was an understatement. Our server Abigail was initially nice although we were told they were out of the chilaquiles. This was no issue to both of us as we aren't picky at all with food. We ended up ordering the huevos rancheros, lobster benedict and the fruit waffle. 30 minutes, 40 minutes and a whole HOUR goes by until we get our food. We would've understood the "back up" that Abigail told us was happening until we saw the group of 6 caucasian teens receive ALL of their orders within 15 minutes when we were sat at the same time as them. To make things worse, another caucasian couple who were seated 30-40 minutes after us had already received their food as well. Once we finally got our food after the hour wait, we had to tell Abigail TWICE that we wanted hot sauce. The first time we told her she said she would get it but accommodated AGAIN to the group of 6- clearing their whole table and giving all of them separate checks while taking another new table's orders, until we had to remind her again. At this point we felt discriminated against and were extremely disappointed- the quality of the food was average at best and was not worth this experience. My husband and I are always very understanding and friendly towards everyone we encounter, so this truly shocked us. We left feeling very disheartened and disrespected. If you are a POC I would highly advise against this establishment- unless you are willing to possibly be discriminated against or wait an hour for average food and terrible customer service. Coffee dispenser at entrance empty and waste receptacle overflowing. Pretty disgusting for a restaurant. Never seen it like this the previous times we visited this location. Management needs to get a handle on things. Disgusted to the point my appetite was gone so we elected to go elsewhere for Father's Day. IMO if you can't keep up with the bathroom that is in public view, then what aren't you keeping up with in the private areas. read more

I went here years ago and only distinctly remember the beignets and the service, and not my main course lol. The beignets were outstanding! They came out hot, and when I bit into them, they were perfectly fluffy soft inside and slightly crunchy on the outside, with powdered sugar on top. The honey orange marmalade and slices of oranges on the side complemented the powdered sugar-covered beignets well. My mouth was drooling while eating them. Ugh! How I miss them. :'( The service was equally outstanding. The waiters and waitresses were so polite and friendly and kept checking up on me. It was a bit difficult for me to find a parking spot due to its popularity with the locals and tourists so take that into consideration when timing your arrival here. read more
