Saw a lot of good reviews about GF items. Came here with my family while visiting my brother for his Navy retirement ceremony. Shared GF rum pecan pancakes, sausage patties, eggs over easy, biscuit, supreme omelette with grits fully loaded ( bacon, smoked goods, chives). The food was very good! The biscuit was soo good I didn't think it was GF! I didn't get sick at all. They prepared my food separately, brought it out on its own tray, it was all marked. They guaranteed me the cooks changed their gloves. Want to come back next time I'm in town! read more

I am so glad we decided to eat at Another Broken Egg-Gregory Street location. My server: Jill was the epitome of professionalism, pride of ownership; a rare trait of a wsitress. The establishment has outstanding food, atmosphere and I was completely impressed with the cleanliness of the establishment. They take pride in entire operation; with reasonable pricing and on-time, no-nonsense service. They salute service men and woman as well as first responders with a generous discount. I highly recommend them. I made a short that is posted on my YouTube channel: @johnswindell1945 https://youtu.be/a_hKjKe6tJ0?feature=shared read more

Service was phenomenal, food is good but I've had better southern brunch experiences. We opted for the bar seating because the wait approximately 40 min long, I didn't try the alcoholic beverages but they all looked pretty good. My chicken was verging on the dry side but it was quite crunchy and tasteful. My husband had the crab cake Benedict and he said it was really good. Will definitely come back read more

I had the Crab cakes Benedict and was sadly disappointed. I make this dish at home and this one was not up to my standards. The hollandaise was bland and covered with red and green bell peppers. If I had known it had the peppers I would have asked to have them omitted. The eggs were perfectly poached and the English muffin wasn't toasted. The mango in the fruit was nice to have. The service was meh at best. My soda glass was empty for at least 10 minutes and the waitress brought my refill in a to-go cup. I didn't ask for a to-go cup. I took that as a hint to leave. read more

We were so disappointed with this place. We went for breakfast on a Friday morning. It was our 1st and will be our last time eating here. The staff were extremely welcoming and nice. We had sausage, gravy and grits and classic eggs benedict and grits. The waitress was pleasant but was not attentive with any coffee refills nor was the manager when he walked around refilling coffee to other patrons. The biscuit and gravy was tasty but the grits were very undercooked and chewy. The eggs benedict was horrible. The eggs were doused with spicy thin hollandaise sauce and the english muffins were small, thin and tough to eat. The ham was overcooked and again the grits were way undercooked and chewy. I was unable to eat anything other than a few bites of the uncooked grits. read more

Wow did this place live up to the hype! We arrived at 0900 on a Saturday and waited about 10-15 minutes. I love that they text you when your table is ready. As soon as we were seated we were greeted by our friendly and high energy server. She took drink orders and had immediate suggestions as we looked at the menu. We started with a half order of the Biscuit Beignets. They come with a delicious marmalade dipping sauce. I had the ABE Famous Infused Mary and it was so deliciously peppery and spicy! We then got down to business with the Mardi Gras Omelette and the Lobster and Brie Omelette. Both were good but the lobster felt decadent! I upgraded the grits to City Grits and I now know what all the fuss was about. They are slap your momma good!! read more

Nothing was good, 0 stars. Waited over an hour for food after waiting over an hour to be seated. Mgr couldn't even come over and apologize.

The pumpkin waffle saved the day. Service over all on the slow side. A 30+ minute wait. Mistake on the order when it was served. Still the pumpkin waffle saved the day. read more

We had the greatest server named Chloe ( sorry if I spelled it wrong). She was very attentive to our needs. This was our first time here as we are getting ready to move to the area & cane this weekend to check things out & trying to find great food establishments. Food was served quickly & was beyond our expectations. Portions were great sized for what we paid. We came in for breakfast time & were happy to find so many choices. You won't go away from here hungry. The ambiance was great. The staff was friendly and if you're in this area you need to come check out this veteran owned establishment because you won't be disappointed. Can't wait till our move because I am for sure coming back to this location. read more

I came to this breakfast/brunch spot on the many positive reviews I saw online. I lucked out when I arrived, found a place to park quickly and then when I got inside a spot had opened up at the bar! I ordered an order of beignets and they came with a very citrus tasting lemon dip. They were hot and fresh and just as good alone as they were in the dip! I ordered a milk and an orange juice and then proceeded to order the Baquezzo Omelette which is filled with cream cheese and bacon, and had a lot of chorizo both inside and on top of the omelette. I also ordered a side of bacon and a side of sausage. The breakfast/brunch was delicious, and very breakfasty! Anyone looking for a good breakfast spots that serves drinks up well? Delicious! We were looking for a yummy breakfast and this hit the spot. You know when there are a lot of patrons at a breakfast place at 8 AM on a Tuesday, then it has to be good. There was a mix of business professionals and families when we visited. The restaurant is big, so lots of room for everyone! We were seated promptly upon arriving and thrilled to see so many offerings on the menu. I went with the huevos rancheros with scrambled eggs and a side of potatoes. This did not disappoint. The tortillas were fried and very crispy, there were a large portion of eggs that were covered in melted cheddar, and under them was a flavorful mixture of black beans, peppers, and garlic. The dish came with salsa and sour cream - I also added some hot sauce. I highly recommend this meal! We didn't get the opportunity to try the cocktails this time but hope to in there future! They had some interesting options, such as an apple pie mimosa pitcher and a champagne mule. read more

This happens to be our second choice which ended up being the best choice. I went ahead and reserved a spot through yelp because it said there'd be a wait, and thank god I did. Instead of waiting 45mins, our wait was 20mins. As we were waiting there was an older gentleman that worked there serving everyone assorted fresh mini muffins. I ordered the supreme omelette and my buddy ordered the Lobster grits. The portions were very large and I ended up taking my biscuit and half my omelette home, my buddy did the same. The service great, the food was tasty, a little bit of a wait but it was well worth it. read more

Be prepared for a long wait for brunch, but the food was excellent, the wait list makes the process easier, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick! We ordered the shrimp benedict which was a LOT of food and super yummy and the bacquezo omelette which was also bomb. They really nailed the potatoes because they were HEAVENLY. The peach Bellini was also delish. Our food came out really quickly and our waitress checked up on us often. She was super nice and got our orders correct. Cant complain at all about the service. This place was POPPIN. We waited well over an hour despite checking in early on Yelp but it definitely is a brunch place worth some hype. Lots of options, nice atmosphere, clearly popular for lots of reasons. Overall, very good experience and I would definitely come back. read more

The food is always delicious but our server Daniel was the absolute best. He is so fun and attentive

The wait time is always long, especially on a Sunday morning, but it is worth it. Go on their website to join the waitlist before you arrive so you just have to check in when you get there, it's faster. Our waiter provided excellent service, had some great recommendations and was overall very helpful! Their mimosas are great, my favorite was the strawberry one. read more

The worst scrambled eggs I've had since eating tray rations on active duty in the field. Hard & rubbery; what the heck breakfast joint? Bloody Mary was not great. But rarely do I consume, so I'm not a great judge. Too thick & tomatoey, I poured water in to thin it out a bit. I think a bit more booze would've also worked the same (or maybe they forgot the booze). High expectations, low reality. read more

The breakfast was wonderful. It a pleasure taking the family out for breakfast. The service was excellent and friendly.

Really not sure where to start. We've eaten here, a couple if times and everything was good; we decided to order online, doesn't give you the option to order by phone. We live in the downtown area, about two miles away. Their app says our food is ready for pickup. My husband goes to pickup and no one can find our order or our order number. They even get the manager. So now after showing our order number and correct location, they are working on our order, and my husband is waiting thirty minutes. I would definitely refrain from ordering online. When he gets home with our food, order is wrong and cold. read more

I will be writing a review in full later on tonight. Long story short, this restaurant will not at all address any customer service/missing items issues. It's been seven days in multiple channels of asking for someone to contact me and no one will. April 28 is when I was there. I was told that all the seasonal favorites could not be ordered. Yet they were prominently feature online AND on the menus in the restaurant. No big deal, I ordered something else. It did not come with enough syrup to eat one pancake let some three. The real problem was the biscuits and gravy that came sans sausage gravy. Just a biscuit. An expensive fry biscuit missing a key component. When I went back to the restaurant and told the lady that took my order she went to the back to get the manager. 5 minutes later she returned and said "my manager said she was too busy, but give me a copy of your receipt and she will refund your whole meal." I told the lady I didn't want the whole meal refunded, just something for the gravy. Well, I was never reimbursed ANYTHING. The total order came out to $65 and it has been almost two weeks. Two weeks this Friday morning and no one has reached out to me. I left a message on Facebook messenger, Twitter, the online form, I've called the restaurant and not able to reach anyone, and Google and yelp reviews and still NOT A WORD FROM ANYONE. This is clearly a management issue and the fact that no one cares to have my business really upsets me. I have had breakfast there four times now and probably have spent well over $200 on breakfast. But I won't go back ever again. I'll be trying other restaurants and I won't visit this place anymore. It's too bad. read more

Well the new owners have taken over and the food has gone downhill ever since. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because they have a great hostess and wait staff. The food I would say is now a 2. I generally get eggs Benedict the ham used to be a thick nice piece of smoked ham with very little fat. Now it's thin and the last time I ordered it was the hard end of the ham. My husband gets French toast with scrambled eggs, and if he's getting two scrambled eggs...they are robin eggs. The quality of the food is really suffering now. We have probably gone through 30+ locals cards there and we won't be going back. Such a shame always our favorite place for breakfast. Removed 2 of the stars. We went back this past Friday November 1st, and the food was even worse than before. The bacquezo omelet had no sour cream in it, nor was it cooked in the garlic butter also had an awful smell so I didn't even eat mine. Husband asked for crispy bacon and it wasn't at all. We're done!! Like the old saying...fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. read more

Have been coming to this location for over 8 years. Have noticed a decline in the food quality as of the past few visits. My wife's special today was the Lobster Benedict. Eggs were not poached, almost hard boiled, missing the crispy fried onions, and the hollandaise sauce looked like it was made hours ago and didn't hold up Staff was awesome as always Space needs some capital spent as it's liking tired. Paint is chipped everywhere, and the booth seats are all cracked and look really bad! My wife noticed a smell that smelled dirty as soon as we walked inside With it trying to charge premium prices, the level of food and ambiance should match the prices I'm not sure if we will come back after today read more

This place is amazing!!!! Everyone is so friendly and the food is wonderful. Don't be deterred by the long wait and use the Yelp online wait-list, it cuts down on the wait tremendously. If there is a down side is parking which can be tricky. Try to load everyone into one vehicle if possible. Lemon curd french toast is so scrumptious...and the breakfast potatoes.... OMG. If you like bubbly their mimosa lineup is a must! Alexa over at the bar is so fantastic and there's a server with super curly hair that is so sweet and goes above and beyond! Perfectly cooked food from the friendliest, hardest working folks I've seen in a LONG time. Another Broken Egg is almost reason enough to make a return visit to Pensacola! read more

First visit, this was a pleasure. My family and I were greeted by Memorie. She was pleasant and explained the menu and made suggestions. Darah then got our drinks and food order. We ordered the shrimp and grits with scrambled eggs on the side,& the classic bacon burger. The food was brought out hot and was prepared pleasing to the eyes. The taste was just as good as it looked. The staff was knowledgeable and polite. This is definitely a place that i will recommend to anyone and That i will revist again! Well done...... read more

We decided to shoot across the bridge early Sunday before church to enjoy breakfast before heading back to the beach. Clean and comfortable restaurant they were able to seat us quickly. The decorations were adorable and the restaurant temp was very comfortable. Our waitress was an absolute pleasure! I went to the restroom and by the time I got back(which wasn't long) she already had our drinks on the table. We asked about a few choices and ordered based on her recommendation and she was spot on! Gotta let it out there that the only reason I'm giving them a 4/5 is because of my first experience here years ago. It was sub-par for all across the board. My most recent visit earned a solid 5/5. I was delighted and quite frankly, relieved that Another Broken Egg exceeded my expectations. Of course this is one of Pcola's most popular brunch spots so arriving at 0930 landed us a half hour wait and unfortunately there is no indoor waiting area so you have to smolder outside on the benches in the humid Florida sunshine. We finally got seated and were so fortunate to land the best waitress in the place!!! She was hilarious! The food was top notch all around the table and the portions was massive! Everyone left full as a tick and happy as a lard. read more

Delicious! We got the beignets to start as an appetizer, then the hash brown benedict, shrimp'n grits, broken egg biscuit sandwich, and the Monterey power omelette. The beignets were a bit small but it was good with the honey marmalade. The hash brown benedict was delicious, crunchy and savory. The broken egg biscuit sandwich and the omelette were the stars of brunch, good portions and great tasty flavors. The shrimp'n grits were just okay, flavorful but the shrimps were tiny. A wonderful breakfast spot I stumbled upon in my way to downtown Pensacola, & I'm so thankful I found this happening eatery. The location is busy and from what I hear they're busy nonstop I love the fact that they offer where you can sit by the bar so we went straight to the bar and were able to sit down and get waited on you right away. With a full bar available I opted for a mimosa they have everything from traditional to some pretty flavorful ones I selected a strawberry confection one, & it was delicious & very refreshing. For my meal I selected the Mardi Gras omelette it consisted of shrimp, crawfish, tomatoes cheese, and a tomato hollandaise sauce oh & some sausage in it as well. I am also included an English muffin and some cheesy grits. The breakfast came out nice and quick hot and fresh I can't wait to return read more

As a party of 2, we ordered hash brown Benedict and shrimp Benedict. They were quite busy and we had to wait a long time for our food. It came out cold and the eggs on both dishes were almost hard-boiled. The shrimp Benedict was also extremely salty and swimming in grease. We sent them both back; the redone dishes were better but still very salty. No apology from management, even when we asked about a discount for our trouble. The manager said that they don't comp or give discounts for re-making food. When we explained further, she gave us a 10% discount on the two entrees (less than $4 total) with no other comment or apology spoken to us. She walked in front of us and ignored us. She was very rude and unprofessional, even as we were very patient and polite. We will not return! read more

I like how the taste of their food was not salty. I ordered the scrambled eggs with spinach, bacon and cheese. Together with pancakes and chocolate drink. It wasn't a heavy meal unlike other meals that I had here in Pensacola. The food reminded me of home. read more

Best breakfast place in town! My favorite is the Mardi Gras with added lump crab meat. I've tried several items on the menu and I'm never let down. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that it has recently changed management and it feels like they are starting to cut corners. the first thing I noticed is they don't have to go coffee cups, just cups with soda lids where you have to use a straw. I, personally, don't mind paying more for the same quality and service, but once I start noticing cuts in the food quality, I'll stop going here. That's my only concern. Btw, my favorite server is Sherri. If you try this place and get her, you will get top quality service. read more

Typically this is one of my favorite restaurants for brunch. We come every weekend. Typically our server is Dara or McKenna and we always have a great experience. Today we were sat in Míchelle's section, we waited for 10 minutes. She never came. We waited, ultimately with less than 30 minutes before they closed 2pm (we got there before 1pm). We left. We told the manager and she offered to reseat us but we'd had sat long enough. read more

Hash brown Eggs Benedict are amazing one of my favorite spots to eat at just for the Benedict's and coffee

Food was delicious but minus 2 stars for the poor service. The city grits, shrimp and grits, bananas foster pancakes and cinnamon roll french toast was incredibly delicious. The coffee and hot chocolate was also great. We arrived on a weekday with a group of 10. I did deduct 2 stars because the server just seemed overwhelmed by a large table and clearly irritated when we asked about missing or incorrect orders. Our server did receive help from another server and even the manager during our visit. While I am always understanding of a few glitches or staggered meal delivery with a large table, we had more than our share of incorrect items, missing items and one in our party did not receive his meal until after everyone else had finished there's. That was really the kicker for me. The manager did stop by our table and offered an apology and a discount on that meal (-$3.75) I however believe that entire late entree should have been comped. It was also very awkward when our server came back to show me her table ticket included the correct and missing items and insisted the kitchen messed it up and not her. I thought that was unprofessional and tacky. Really all she needed to do was politely switch out the incorrect items and apologize and put a rush on the missing ones but a bad attitude only makes things worse. I would give them another try with just a friend or two as the food was really yummy. However, no more large family meals here for us. I just don't think that is in their wheelhouse. read more
