Wowzer! Stella's is a dive bar with the most incredible ribs I've ever eaten. Yes, it's out in the marsh. Yes, it's a joint like something out of a movie. This is an interesting place. We've been in the area several times and finally made it here. We're from Texas and honestly have had much better BBQ, but we appreciate and support small, local businesses like Stella's. It looked like Stella was the only person working and she was very busy. A friend asked me to join him for lunch at Stella's a few weeks ago. We went in at about noon and ordered wings, chops, and ribs - and a few beers. We ate way too much. It was all very good. When you find this little place, you will wonder if you should go in at first. Hear me when I say, Go In! Stella is a one person show, and her food will remind you of going back in time when simple good food was a highlight of life. She only offers beef ribs, pork chops and buffalo wings. The sides are potato salad and baked beans. That's it! No more, but no less. We had the ribs to go and the portions were huge! Her sauce should be enshrined somewhere so we never loose this gift to the tastebuds. I will say that the dine in accommodation leaves something to be desired, but when you take that container of goodness home, you will not be thinking about her tables and chairs.
