Three croutons salad and incorrectly dressing. The order was one vinegarette and one blue cheese.

11 months later after my initial review I tried Jim and Nicks. I truly wish I was here to update my initial review BUT evidently NOTHING has changed. The employees CANNOT get their orders correct. I WILL NEVER step foot in this location again. No matter how bad you want to try this location do yourself a favor and go to Pensacola!!!!!!

Carolina pulled pork, brisket, Cole slaw and fries!

Sat at the bar and had the two meat combo platter. Every one of the servers and trainers were awesome! They had only been open 4 days but you wouldn't know it. We both got the Carolina pulled pork and brisket. The Carolina pulled pork, which has more of a vinegar base than a sweet tomato base was very well done. The brisket was extremely tender and I did like Jim and Nick barbecue sauce not too sweet not too spicy. The meat was very tender and flavorful and we really liked the cheese biscuits almost like a cornbread, but not really and very tasty. I was fairly traditional with my sides. I got beans and coleslaw. Both very good had a riptide larger and all in all we enjoyed the hell out of ourselves. Finished the meal off with very traditional southern banana pudding complete with vanilla wafers. We will be back.

First time ordering food from this place and it didn't disappoint at all. The flavor of the food as well as the sauces were delicious. They food was served well and very inviting. We haven't physically been there yet!! As soon as we can go there, I will have a more in depth review. It's a must try!!! Food was absolutely delicious.

Decided to give this place a try for the first time, for Father's Day and we were more than impressed! From the moment we even walked up, we were immediately met by a sweet woman opening the door and handing us a menu while we waited in line. Ordering was super easy and quick! Almost immediately upon sitting down we were greeted by an awesome younger gentleman (wish we had gotten his name) who was super attentive & friendly! Our food came out super quick and was delicious. We tried the new brisket Mac and cheese balls and WOW! It came with ranch and a spicy habanero BBQ sauce that was one of the best sauces we have ever had! The inside was modern rustic and so cute. We will for sure be back!

Fast ordering. Quick food service. Love the pulled pork sandwich French fries and Cole slaw. Place is always immaculately clean. And they give random coupons

I wish I could give 0 stars. Stay away from the drive thru, waited more than 20 minutes just for biscuits. This happened twice.

Located inside the Circle K at 5 Points, between the convenience store and Santino's, Down Home…read moreKitchen might strike you as a place that would have stale, fried, and sub-par grub. You'd be stricken wrong. There are fresh vegetable sides, home cooked main dishes, and everything is better than average for quality and taste. There are some things that aren't made from scratch (I'm thinking about you, mashed potatoes), but the relative rarity these days of cheap, hot, not-from-a-can, ready-to-eat meals is enough to excuse such things. Every week day has a different special...although I can't remember what day has what. There's delicious beef tips and gravy, fried chicken, turkey and dressing, stuff like that. I've had the beef tips several times and they are tender, tasty, and the gravy is awesome. This is a hybrid Blue Plate joint. You get a meat, two sides, and a bread for $5.99. No dessert or drink included. Of course, this being adjacent to the Circle K, you can pop next door and get a capacious schooner of soda for 79 cents. I think that the Circle K also has a case full of Krispy Kremes, too. Five Points is an oasis in a commercial wasteland. There are more options than there used to be, but having an option for a healthier lunch or snack is welcome. I stop in here to get something to eat at work before I begin the trek across Quintette...it would be worth the drive from 90 to check it out, if you are in the area.

Ace's Hanger catered two private parties at our home in the past two weeks and both were perfect!…read more The prices were reasonable and the quantity and quality was spot on! The service and attention to detail pleased all of our guests and owner, Scott, delivered and prepared everything perfectly. First party was a younger crowd and they enjoyed the Taco Bar, the lasagna and charcuterie. Second party was for our retired or mostly retired friends and we loved the Oysters Rockefeller, shrimp cocktail, more lasagna, and Spinach and artichoke dip! It was nice not to have to worry about cooking and I was able to relax and enjoy the party rather than being tied to the kitchen! Scott was great working with my dietary restriction too. He even made me a separate batch of Oysters that were yummy and keto! Plenty of leftovers and everyone was happy to take them home.

We were just about the only family in there and our service reflected that. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and was able to answer all our questions about the menu. Our food was delicious, and I especially enjoyed my fried shrimp and grilled shrimp. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well, although the coleslaw was a little bland. The decor was neat, with lots of airplane and flying memorabilia. I would definitely say check them out if you're looking for a good meal with a decent price prices and friendly service!

We were visiting some friends in Milton and wanted to get a bite for lunch before heading out…read more They suggested Blackwater Bistro. The place is really quaint with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The menu includes a great variety of different items. The soup of the day was a green chili chicken stew that sounded too good to pass on, so I ordered that along with a side of Gouda grits and a side of sautéed green beans. The grits were delicious! The green beans were very good; and the soup was good. My wife ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with sweet potato criss-cut fries. The fries were bomb! The sandwich was okay, she was trying to figure out what was missing. On the way home she realized it was missing cheese. A cheesesteak without cheese?!?! Service was very good. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. This bistro is not cheap by any stretch, but it is good and I'm sure we'll return.

This…read morewas the fancy place in town to go to if you had a hot date, or for before you go to prom. I never made it out, though, until I moved away, got a job, and then came back to visit recently. I went out to explore downtown Milton some, checked out Blackwater State Park, and got hungry and decided to finally come check this place out for lunch. So we drove up, got a table, and started browsing the pamphlet they gave us of the history of the building. It was a quaint little read. The restaurant is in an old house that had many different lives over the course of its existence. It was wooden, comfortable, had a nice bar built into it. Very cozy and rustically upscale. The service was also very good. A nice lady that tended to all of our drink needs. Very pleasant. And the food came out in a timely fashion. As for the food, we started with the The Sampler (A mixture of our house favorites: Artichoke cheesecake, Baguette, Loaded Brussel Sprouts with Shrimp, Coconut Shrimp with Mango Chutney). This was nice. I love a good savory cheesecake, you don't see that very often. It was very interesting loading the sprouts with shrimp, but I've never said no to a shrimp. And the coconut shrimp were pretty standard. It was a good plate, but not mind-blowing, if you wanna try a different app. My main was the Creole Crawfish & Andouille Pot Pie (Louisiana Crawfish, Savory Vegetables, Andouille, Cajun Cheese Cream, Puff Pastry). This is a loose-leaf pot pie. So basically a gumbo with a puffy piece of puff pastry on top. So it's a lot of fun, but don't expect a lot of crust with each bite. Super creamy, super Cajun in the seasoning, no regrets getting this. I also got to try the The Blue Salad (Filet of Beef. Signature Assorted Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, Cucumber, Bleu Cheese, Balsamic Vinaigrette, Candied Pecans, Bleu Cheese Dressing). This was a good salad! Nice and tender strips of filet, funky bleu cheese, sweet and crunchy pecans. I love a nice interesting salad like this. Nothing boring involved. And a ton of that delicious dressing. Overall, the Bistro was well worth the wait. Good vibes, good food. I'd come back.
