We visited there this morning, though everyone is always extremely nice Hannah was our waitress. She is the perfect example of what you want to see when you sit down to eat. She was cheerful, helpful and was always smiling. I love service like this young lady had. If I could have her every time I went that would be perfect. I tip according to the service, not so much the food as the wait staff because they cant help what comes out of the kitchen. She was above and beyound. Good work Hannah. I just don't understand. I was their first order on the board ... is what I was told when placing to go order.Why are my potato's inedible??? I could see maybe one or two, it shouldn't be any honestly. I understand we're humans( mistakes happen), but you shouldn't have given no one this. Even the onions were burnt!! This meal was horrible!! I honestly don't know if I would give them another chance because this is my second issue with this location. A friend recommended this place so we decided to give it a try. When we arrived around 8:00 AM it wasn't busy at all. By the time we left around 9:00 AM it was getting pretty crowded. I don't like poached eggs, so I didn't try the Benedict, but it is reportedly very good. I do indulge in bacon, I love it, and I must say the million dollar bacon was AWESOME! The carrot cake pancake was okay, a little too dry for my liking, but okay nonetheless. Service was adequate. Not great, but not bad. The store is comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. Pricing is fair. And the variety of breakfast items is plentiful. I imagine I'll be back before too long. read more

Denise was our server today and she is always on her A Game and the nicest person in the world! We are always so excited when we have her as a server. She has been a staple here for as long as we have been a customer and that is always a welcome sight when you patronize a business. Our food was on spot today and no complaints. A Hidden Gem among other Sunday brunch options in town. First Watch is a chain breakfast/brunch restaurant that offers made to order, fresh, meal options at a reasonable price. They also offer many healthy choices. They are child and disability friendly, catering to make sure that everyone's expectations are met. They also offer a website que for getting in line. We we able to get in line on the website and were seated promptly once we arrived. 0 minute wait, very unusual on a Sunday morning. I've been several times in Central Florida over the years but this was the first visit at the Pensacola location. It looks smaller from the roadside but is well spaced inside. I got the biscuits and gravy which is my favorite here but the half of the potatoes were undercooked and way too salty & gravy was lumpy this mornings something that's very consistent is the dirty silverware. The water spots on the silverware is the reason why I request for plastic cutlery every visit at this location. read more

It's a decent location at best. Service is good, food is solid for the most part. Sundays can be very busy especially after Church, your best option is to join the waitlist well in advance. If you like your eggs over medium, prepare to be disappointed. They don't know how to make it, no matter how specific you are, they don't get this right for some reason. It got to the point where we just eat the eggs over easy, anytime we ask them to remake it, it comes back as a soft boil egg. I ordered the steak and egg dish and got mostly potatoes, had to dig to find a few small pieces of steak. I still like First Watch, but I won't be coming back to this location anytime soon read more

I like this place in Pensacola. We went on a weekend day at opening. I think we were the first customers. We were promptly greeted and sat by a very friendly employee who ended up waiting on us. My wife and I ordered off the special menu. Portion sizes were very good, and our coffee cups were never empty. The place was super clean and well maintained. We had a really frustrating experience at First Watch today. Our table outside was ready, but we ended up waiting about 10 extra minutes because it was given to another party. Once we were finally seated, we waited another 10 minutes before our server came over. We ordered sangria, were ID'd, and then the host came outside and told us we weren't allowed to drink outside and would have to move inside. We were told to hurry and decide because the table might not be there for long, which felt very rushed and disorganized. Our server said she'd bring us water, but never did. The rest of our party arrived and we decided to stay outside, but after that we were completely ignored. We waited around 20 more minutes with no drinks, no water, and no one checking on us. Meanwhile, we watched our server take care of other tables that were seated after us--bringing them drinks, taking orders, and closing out tabs. We eventually had to ask a busser who our server was because we hadn't seen her in so long. He went to get her, but when she came outside she helped another table and then went back inside without saying anything to us. After all that waiting and being overlooked, we ended up leaving without ever being served. Overall, the experience felt very disorganized, unprofessional, and we were disappointed with the lack of communication and service. I was really excited to go and experience my first time there. My cousin hyped up the place, and wanted to take me there for my birthday, and said it was better than Another Broken Egg (one of my favorite restaurants ever). Had the biscuits & turkey sausage gravy & home fries with 2 scrambled for breakfast. The biscuit was good, oddly fluffy and huge. The turkey sausage gravy was thin and lacking in flavor. ( I do prefer pork sausage, but not offered) The home fries were mostly burnt to a crisp. The few that were edible were flavorful. They nailed the 2 scrambled, so that was a plus. My server was good and very attentive, no issues there. It took 3 sets of silverware before I found a set that I thought was clean enough to eat with. Coffee pot could have used an intervention with some detergent as well. Overall it's a solid 2.5 stars. Clean silverware would have given them a 3. Doubtful I'll return. read more

Our first visit was in Denver. LOVED EVERYTHING from the waitstaff to the portions AND the flavor. We just tried the one here in Pensacola. Our waiter had a great personality and was very attentive. My problem was the food. The sausage and toast were good. My potatoes were not cooked well (inedible) and were more like eating apples. They were also seriously on the stingy side. Is there a potato shortage? The portions for it to be a $15 breakfast were on kind of dinky compared to Denver. Those must have been some SERIOUSLY tiny eggs! read more

You can't really go wrong with first watch. Very cool that Pensacola finally has a location and it's a pretty good location because it's near the university. Everything about her swatches consistent so the same great food that I get in Tampa I can get in Pensacola as well. I don't eat eggs much anymore unless I'm going to a great breakfast spot and first watch qualifies. One of my favorite dishes on the savory side of breakfast is the salmon Benedict. I absolutely love that first watch provides mixed greens as a side for breakfast! This particular location made my Benedict Perfectly because I don't like my yolk too runny...I like my yolk creamy. From the moment I walked in til pretty much the moment I left - it was impressive. The food is so beautifully plated and even the way they serve water is so cute! The portions are very large & I actually had an entire slice of french toast with lots of fruit left to take home as another meal. The bacon is also a fav and that's saying so much because I usually never like or eat bacon! Always great at First Watch. My wife almost always gets the Breakfast Bowl. Always fresh, filling, healthy, and delicious. I got the Healthy Turkey egg white omelet.
