We decided to give this place a try based on positive reviews. We have been looking for a good coffee place. The girl that took my order was very helpful in getting the account set up. Alex on the other hand is the reason for this review. We ordered one coffee black and the other with cream on the side. When I opened the cup and saw how much room was left in the cup I assumed that was the one with the room for cream. When my partner opened her cup there was cream in hers so she went back up to see if she could get a black one like she ordered. He was very rude saying he didn't take the order and was just trying to see what the problem was and I'll remake it angrily. When my partner thanked him as he handed her the new cup he gave her a dirty look and just turned around and walked away. Maybe he's having a bad morning but it wasn't a good first impression sadly because the place is so cute and we really liked the selection. read more

Love this place, great service, and addicted to their large iced Funky Monkey. It is delicious. It was the first one I ordered there, and I am a very picky coffee drinker. Highly recommend them; coffee is expensive to begin with no one wants to pay for bad coffee. I go to the one at 6700 North Davis Hwy. My baby peanut is also a fan of their pup cup. And they are pet-friendly; no one wants to leave their beloved pet in the car in this heat. I live an hour away, and every time I go to Pensacola, which is a lot, this is my first stop read more

Such a cool shop and has a drive thru which is always a plus. I order the Temptation coffee and the Berry Energy to drink, both super good. Food we ordered cheese danish (it was good), egg bites (little over cooked, waffle sandwich (really good), and cup of fruit (overpriced). For drinks 10/10 highly recommend, food is good overall and the vibes are cool. Staff was not overly friendly, but atleast they worked efficiently and weren't rude! read more

We were staying at the Marriott nearby and liked this place so much, we signed up for "perks"! Outstanding coffee, delicious cakes and great service. Plus, who can resist a coffee place that doubles as an eye ware emporium?! We loved the steaming cup decor. Almond Joy latte was a favorite! read more

I have been coming to Pensacola for work for about 3 years now- I had Coffee Guy Cafe on my first visit and have come every time since! It's my morning ritual- I love the variety they have and appreciate how many sugar free specialty drinks they have. My favorite and my go-to is the iced Snickerdoodle- sooooo good!!! They also have food options and baked goods. The cake display is amazing- I would order it more often if I wasn't trying to be a healthy eater haha! The breakfast options that were added are a hit- good variety and tasty. I love this place! Very interesting concept with the eye doctor inside. Decor is great and the staff is very pleasant. Quick service inside. They also have a drive thru read more

Always amazing drive thru.. latte always great..staff always friendly & service is prompt...

What a cute concept! An eyeglass store and coffee cafe! The location in the west side of Davis highway is the newer location of the two and it is so cute and unique. You walk in and are greeted by the aroma of coffee and an eye glass store. Anna and Leah were very helpful in recommendations and providing information about the cafe. This specific location has a neat underground element that is great for a quaint quiet space. I order a hot Honey, I Love You latte (honey and lavender) and my husband ordered an iced Pumpkin Spiced latte with Pumpkin Cold brew. Each created with taste in mind. So good and will be a local favorite for a while! read more

Cute and fun I like it. It's nice having places like this here. It reminds of a big city coffee shop. So many good flavor options. Definitely sweet but that could just be because I'm used to the lattes in California which might as well be ozempic with how little sweetener they add read more

They won't let you change anything on the menu. Which is ridiculous when I'm asking for is a different kind of syrup and they are snarky about it. And if you get a bagel, they won't put the cream cheese. You have to do it in the car, which is awkward. I'm taking my business to a more flexible place. read more

What an interesting concept. An eyeglass shop with a coffee shop, but it works. We ordered our drinks and browsed through the products they sell. Shirts and coffee mugs were cute. Love the big hot coffee cup outside. That caught our attention while driving by so great marketing. Coffee was good in flavor, and I drink coffee black. After giving us all of our food and drinks, we stood there, still waiting, and I noticed they were wondering why and realized they forgot to give us one more item, which was on the side. No biggie. I'd stop by again when I'm in town. read more

This is BIG coffee likened to big pharma. The place is all flash but low quality. Returned my drip coffee and got an americano and still terrible. Looking for a do over. No vegan options. The "New York bagels" looked like Sysco brand and they use Almond breeze for "almond" milk. That stuff has like 3 almonds in the whole carton. Just terrible quality stuff but looks like the people come for the fanciness. Never again! read more

We absolutely LOVE the Coffee Guy Cafe!! We don't live in the area and would always see the sign when we were cross the street at Whataburger (also doesn't exist where we live), so we finally decided to check out the menu and then just had to give it a try the next day. Boy are we glad we did! I don't eat any sugar regularly, so it's amazing you can get almost any drink sugar free! Over the next few days we were in town we tried a bevy of beverages, including: The iced I Love You, the frozen s'mores, banana pudding, hot peppermint, iced Velma, and Superman (not available sugar free) for my son. We loved them all! We also visited both locations and both were equally as good with the drinks as the other. This particular visit happened to fall on my birthday, and they offer buy one get one free cake slices, so I did cheat on the sugar free diet to try a bite of them. We did the cookies and cream cake and the strawberry cake. My family (who ate the majority of them) loved both! They also tried to lemon stuffed blueberry muffin and liked that too. I will say the newer location had a better selection of baked goods than the original location. Not sure if it's because of the amount of orders each receives or just so happened they got a shipment the day we tried the newer location, but I did find it interesting, especially since they are right across the street from each other. Either way, both locations had phenomenal drinks and very friendly and helpful staff who were both kind and patient helping me order all of the drinks sugar free. We can't wait to go back again when we are in the area next time! read more

Cute coffee shop with high carbs options! Coffee has excellent flavor and service was very nice. Lots of delicious looking cakes to choose from. I was really trying to watch my carbs and saw a sandwich with an egg and I think it was sausage. I asked if I could just have like two eggs and they said no. The avacado toast was good, served on multi grain toast, that being the only option. Not a place to watch your figure lol. read more

I travel to Pensacola monthly for work, and since I order out a lot I like to try to find places that are consistently good. This is one of those places. This is my second time ordering from Coffee Guy Cafe. Both times I have ordered the sausage, egg and cheese bagel along with the cinnamon roll latte and an order of waffle minis. Yummy. The breakfast bagel is an everything bagel; soft, warm with a sausage patty, egg patty and cheese. Very filling. Even after the delay for delivery, everything was still warm and the bagel did not become too chewy. The waffle minis are just that, mini waffles. They come with syrup and are dusted in powdered sugar. Just that little something to enjoy with your coffee. And, let's talk about the coffee. There are a number of appealing coffee choices, but I really enjoy this cinnamon roll latte, and I love that you can customize it with added espresso, choices in milk and sweeteners, and especially that they have sugar free options. Yeah, and that double shot espresso keeps me going all day long. I'll definitely order from here again... maybe for a chicken salad something and a refresher for that mid-day pick me up! read more

Coffee is overpriced for the lack of quality. Standard drinks are way too sweet. Ambiance in both locations is rather uncomfortable. The underground locations just gives me weird vibes. read more

Overpriced coffee and terrible service. Only coffee shop open at 6 am and wait times are 15min+ for service

3 people in line, 3 people working. One of the people deciding to fill the muffins. No one literally no one paying attention to the people in line. No greeting. No nothing. I finally had to say something and the young man just kept working. The woman walked by me with the muffins, and the other woman said give us a second. I'm super disappointed with this place. There seemed to be a complete lack of interest in the customer. Well, this place looks like a very interesting place to have coffee. It didn't seem interested in the customers as the one woman who was filling the muffins instead decided to go back by the counter, grab her drink, which I'm assuming the other employee made for her to drink it and then go work the window, and not even say a word to the customers. Finally, the gentleman came up from back in the corner, where he has been making something to greet us. read more

*Service is always amazing, but it can take 10+ min to get your coffee at peak times especially if they are trying to keep the drive thru line moving. * Ambiance is always great. Cute decor and always holiday appropriate. Has a southern country feel to it. * Coffee is amazing and I will always come here for coffee!!! * The food. It looks amazing. I've tried many options multiple times. I WANT to love it but it's just "meh". I love cake and nothing I have tried as far as cakes are outstanding. Other people may disagree, but I'm a cake snob and I have expectations regarding texture and buttercream taste. It's a 3/5 for me for all cake flavors. The wraps are also meh. Chicken salad is definitely not "Chicken Salad Chick good". * The app. It could use work. I'd love a description on the app as to what each item is. Redneck Latte? What's in that? The food items to order ahead are also very limited on the app. read more

Had a horrible experience at another optometrist's clinic and decided to stop in this business. Sure, the idea of an eye appointment following a great cup of coffee was definitely something I had never thought of but why not? I'm active duty military and came in on Veterans Day with a buddy and Hailey was the barista who took our order. She blessed us with a random act of kindness and she paid for our order out of her own pocket! We tried to protest, but she was faster to tap the POS machine. As two active duty guys, that small gesture meant so much! Coffee was awesome, vibes were better, and Hailey basically earned "Employee of the Year" in our book. 10/10 read more

Coffee Guy Cafe - Cute coffee shop, quiet and comfy seating with good vibes - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Pensacola, Florida

This quirky little coffee shop is "the better to see you with." Skip the carrots. Get a cappuccino and an eye check, or one of the many breakfast sandwiches, cookies and cakes. I usually get the ham, egg n cheese croissant, but today there is a shortage on buttery crescent shaped objects. So I'm having the ham egg n cheese on an English muffin. There are more themed items here than recipes on a Forrest Gump Bubba Gump menu: coffee tee shirts, coffee hats, coffee mugs, coffee mug shaped high-boy chairs, coffee ...well you get the idea. Friendly staff, good coffee, plenty of space to meet friends or business associates. A note for the business owners: The last few times I've visited this location you've been out of stir sticks, usually displayed in the medical glass sundry jar, and there is no trash can by the sweetener station, so I have to ask for a spoon each time and carry my trash across the room to the other sweet station, which also has no store sticks! read more

Coffee Guy Cafe, located at 6700 N Davis Hwy, is a charming coffee shop nestled within an eyeglass store called Eye & Coffee Guy Underground. The cafe is housed in a historic building that was once a bank, with the bottom room serving as the old bank vault. This blend of history and coffee makes for a fascinating ambiance. The eyeglass store and coffee shop signage caught my daughter's eye when we were driving her home from the airport and we just had to check it out, and I'm glad we did. The cafe offers a variety of specialty drinks, ranging from sweet treats to super-caffeinated options. Their menu is known for its diverse selection, with reviews praising their brews and the unique atmosphere. Plus they coffee is quite good and served in cool cups and of course they also have fun merch. In addition to their regular business hours, Coffee Guy Cafe sometimes hosts events, like live music or art shows, adding to its vibrant charm. Bottom line: Whether you're a local or a visitor, Coffee Guy Cafe is a must-visit destination for coffee lovers and history enthusiasts alike. Do you have OCD? Obsessive Coffee Disorder It is an interesting concept to have a coffee shop & an Optometrist store intertwined. Coffee Guy Cafe has an entrance inside the store leading to The Fifity Dollar Eye Guy. I have to admit that I initially wanted to visit this coffee shop because I was amused with how the logo resembled Guy Fieri! This shop is at the crossroads of N Davis Hwy & E Burgess Rd. It's hard to miss the white coffee cup on the building that's billowing steam! There's ample free parking here. If you want a quick coffee, there's a Drive-Thru! They are strong in the Coffee Guy Gear (merchandise) game ... drinkware, hats, and t-shirts. I ordered a large Cappuccino with an extra shot. It was a nice cup o' joe! I sat in one of the comfy plush chairs while using their free Wi-Fi to search out more things on my phone. There are electrical outlets for you to plug in your electronics. I love the seat backs on the bar-height chairs, they are in the shape of coffee cups with handles. Nice touch! I didn't try any of their food items, but they do offer a large variety of goodies beyond coffee & tea! They offer cakes, pastries, waffles, bagels, chicken salad & chips. read more

In Pensacola for work on nightshifts, having this spot across from my hotel was a dream! Walked in around 6pm to grab some snacks and coffee - the line was pretty long, I was surprised for it being the evening with plenty of people using the tables to (what it looked like) study. Huge assortment of pastries, full slices of cake, and sandos - I wish I had more time to try everything! I ended up getting some kind of pumpkin coffee because it was October, it was fantastic. Not too sweet for being a festive drink and the XL (or whatever the largest size was) was perfect for the 12 hours I had ahead of me. I grabbed a yogurt parfait as I was attempting to be healthier and I think I recall getting something sweet as well. The optometrist portion was pretty sectioned off so I didn't see that side, but still think it's a cool idea to pair them together :) read more

The coffee is better than Starbucks any day. The only thing is thy they don't ever ask what kind of milk you'd like. I feel that is something you should be asking every customer. Coffee pretty good just wish the breakfast items was fresher or made there .

Stopped here because Starbucks was few and far between in Pensacola. They have an interesting menu of smoothies, coffee, tea, and a mix of pastries. That made it a good stop for the car full of picky people that accompanied me. I had a cafe latte and bagel and my kids shared an XL smoothie. The cafe latte was good and I appreciate the staff allowing me to put my own cream cheese on the bagel. My intention with the XL smoothie was to allow my 16-year-old and 6-year-old to share but it really wasn't that big. Unfortunately, I think the smoothie was water-based and not juice based, so it didn't have a great flavor despite it being a Tropical blend. The service was great, the staff at the window was super friendly and I appreciate the wait at the window, as everything was made fresh to order. read more

I think many remember Sharon Weiss and her infamous Mary Callender review on the pumpkin pie that was left in the oven for most of Thanksgiving day (if you don't, google it). Looks like Sharon is cooking for Coffee Guy these days! Two orders of spinach and feta egg bites and a tasteless and extremely watered down Gingerbread Iced Latte came out the window. One order of egg bites came out looking normal and one...well Sharon Weiss's attempt at a boxed pie. The barista said feebly that it was cooked from frozen and should be ok? In a hurry, we left. Of course, it tasted like burnt cinders you'd find after a camp fire. When a business table pounds about how we great they are and allegedly have awards suggesting the same, one expects better. The sign on the building says optometry is practiced there? I suggest offering eye exams to your employees in the near future... read more
