The toasted cardamom latte is presented beautifully. (I love the toasted marshmallows). I enjoyed it because I like cardamom, but my friend tried it too & would've preferred more sweetness. However, she thinks the breakfast burritos are tasty. Wait times can run a bit long because of limited baristas, so I wouldn't recommend this place if you're in a hurry. I also recommend checking the menu online before you go. The menu on the wall isn't detailed, so it's hard to fully browse while waiting in line. I had been going back and forth on whether to check this place out but a TikTok video convinced me to go try their seasonal Golden Pumpkin Latte. It was good! Not overly spiced but definitely festive, and topped with gold leaf which made it *fancy*. I did order it with cold foam and they forgot it, but to be fair I did also until I had already drank about half so I guess it didn't matter in the end.7/10. I also ordered a ham and cheese croissant and has them heat it up, honestly it could have gone a little longer but that's personal preference. It was flaky and nice although a little sparse on filling.6.5/10. Atmosphere and aesthetics were super nice, it was clean and bright and the seating was comfortable. Echo has hands down the best coffee in Pensacola. When trying new coffee shops I always start with a plain espresso. They do espresso very well. They roast in house and both their caffeinated and decaf are excellent. From there adding milk opens a wide range of options. The service is always outstanding, fast, and many options are very well presented. The location is easy to access and inside is comfortable and quiet. My go-to is typically a pour-over. At Echo, I order a pour-over with their single-origin Ethiopian or El Salvador beans; the quality and precision in every cup are unmatched. The El Salvador beans have dark chocolate notes, which makes them my favorite. The Ethiopian beans offer more of a vibrant, fruity profile, peaches and berries were prominent notes that I picked up on. There was one instance when my Ethiopian pour-over wasn't quite as great as usual. The barista actually noticed that I wasn't drinking it and, without hesitation, made me a fresh cup. He took the time to explain what went wrong with the first one and sincerely apologized. That level of attentiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction is rare, and it's one of the many reasons I keep coming back. Beyond the coffee, Echo has a great selection of pastries, a breakfast burrito, and waffles. The ambiance is another standout feature.
