Peanut Butter Madness
Dave C.

Waffle House catered an Employee Party and our entire group was satisfied with their offerings. I ordered the Peanut Butter Madness (Belgian Waffle topped with Peanut Butter Mousse, Real Whipped Cream, Chocolate Sauce, and Showered with crushed up Peanut Butter Cups). Absolutely delicious! The Whipped Cream to Waffle/Topping ratio was off by a few scoops but who doesn't like Whipped Cream!?! Friendly staff, quick to order and a great snack for our party. Highly recommend having them cater your event or party!

I've got a crush on Waffle Crush!! First off, this body was built by Nutella! Second, a waffle topped with Nutella, bananas and whipped cream and a caramel sauce??? I'm down any day! I have to thank my wife for Turning me on to waffle crush a few years ago. She faithfully follows them on Instagram and lets me know where they are. I guess you could say we stock them just for their waffles. Crispy waffles topped with anything you desire that's on their menu, what else could you ask for? The texture of the food complements each other miraculously. Sorry Yelpers, I'm NOT the culinary expert they are, so I can't tell you exactly what makes them so good. All I can say is if you see them at a farmers market or follow them on Instagram, stop and Get yourself some. Its heaven on your plate.

This is sooo good. I had the Nanas which is Nutella, bananas and fresh made whipped cream. My daughter had the Worms and Dirt which is chocolate mousse, gummy worms, whipped cream and crushed Oreos. They are also a bakery and have cookies, cupcakes, macaroons, coffee cake and more. The owner was so friendly! The next time I am in Arizona I will definitely be back!!

I had the cinna-sugar waffle at the Waffle Crush food truck at Ballet Under the Stars in Tempe Beach Park. There wasn't anything particularly special about it, it just tasted like a churro with vanilla ice cream. This was just an "okay" experience, nothing to write home about, but not bad.

Well, there are (at least) two new Waffle Trucks in town: Waffle Love AZ and Waffle Crush. Both have opened within the last month-ish and they both seem to like parking in my back yard (not complaining!) Being lovers of waffles (particularly waffles of the amazingly sweet, sugary leige-sort), we of course needed to give both a whirl. I believe that I read that Waffle Crush is run by some ladies from Queen Creek. We've visited them most often in the parking lot of the American Leadership Academy at Greenfield and Pecos - it is a pretty diabolical location as it is directly on our way pretty much any/everywhere as we head to the freeway. My young son now identifies that intersection as "Waffle" any time we pass it. They have also joined the Power Ranch Farmers Market one Wednesday, which was phenomenal as my grandmother could walk over to grab a waffle with my son (nothing else is really within close walking distance here) Location: The two locations we've visited have been nice - American Leadership Academy's parking lot has been empty of normal traffic during the times that we've gone, which means that the only cars there are there for the Waffle truck. There's plenty of space to park and a big clear area around the truck itself where you wait. There is also a nice park just across the street, which can be a scenic place to enjoy your waffles if you don't enjoy the eat-standing-up-or-in-your car experience. The Power Ranch Farmer's Market was also nice, with a big grassy area nearby and sidewalk on the side of the truck where you ordered. Both options were well lit and they often have several lawn chairs set up for some guests to sit in while they wait. Process: The lines are long - this is a fact. The waffles take awhile - also a fact. You generally order when you get to the window, they take your name, run your credit card on the iPad. There is a spot to provide a tip BUT I noticed that they only offer you set tip options (15%, 20%, 25%) ... not a huge fan of this as it is not a table service restaurant (they are handing me my food through a window) and so a 20 or 25% tip is WAY HIGH for the amount of actual service provided. Even 15% is a lot when 3 waffles will run you almost $25, which means that you're leaving a $4 or $5 tip for the lowest percentages. The Menu: Your basic option is the yum-tastic Liege Waffle. They do something unique in that you can order a chocolate-filled waffle, which seems to be a waffle that is somehow layered with chocolate in the middle; yummy but SO sweet. They have some great suggested waffles - the "Berry" is my go to, with Biscoff, Strawberries, and Whipped Cream (the thick, real whipped cream that is almost like icecream but soft and a perfect topping) "Nana" is another favorite in our family, with Bananas, Nutella, and Whipped Cream. They have the "Mellow" which is s'moresish with chocolate filling and toasted marsmallows, and the perfect option for my son and grandmother who don't go overboard - the Cinnamon Sugar, which is simply the waffle rolled in a Cinnamon Sugar mix. The Goods: The waffles are delicious Liege waffles that use special waffle irons that caramelize the sugar on the waffles providing a crispier, sweet exterior that contrasts the soft and fluffy interior perfectly. There is something to their batter that isn't my favorite - a slightly sharp after taste that sometimes puts me off, but is usually pretty well masked by the toppings so it's not that big of a deal. The toppings are delicious and the combinations they suggest are all creative and tasty. Service: We've been several times and the faces seem to always be the same people, which is nice! They go out of their way to be friendly, and on one night where we arrived early when there wasn't much of a line, we even got a little overview and sample of the Biscoff spread form one of the proprietors. Overall - They seem to have a good grasp on their concept and provide an excellent end-to-end experience from location to menu to service. Their prices are a little bit higher and again, the tip thing is slightly annoying, but given the choice we definitely would return here as often as they're close by! They have a punch card that we'll definitely make use of :)

I've visited the truck a few times & have found an absolute favorite! -- A waffle with biscoff. I can't get enough. I definitely have a waffle crush!

The Ham and cheese

I tried out waffle crush for the first time recently and was happy to see that they have sweet and savory items to choose from I opted for savory and ordered the ham and cheese. The sandwiche was delicious.

Best waffle ever. I have tried the other guys before such as waffle love and the Swedish one. Not even on the same level. I like the Mello waffle the best. Great balance of sweet and the biscoff seals the deal. Give them a shot.

Menu! The "Berry" is delish.

Stopped by office max this morning and OH MY GOD I saw the truck!!! The beautiful pink truck and my mind was like "IS THAT THE TRUCK!?!?" I picked up some pens, and went straight over to purchase a waffle. But first, I was a newbie, so I stepped back for a couple minutes and watched how things operated. There were people waiting, and I saw someone walk up to the window and ordered. So I'm like, oh that's easy! I was initially going to get the "Nana," but I decided to try something new and got the "Berry" instead because it had a biscoff spread. I read reviews and saw people were raving about Biscoff, so I decided to give it a try, not knowing what it was. HOLY. MOLY. It was DIVINE. (I loved it so much I actually went to my Winco and purchased a crunchy Biscoff jar!) Biscoff is the new Nutella basically. It's ground up Biscoff cookies (the one they serve on airplane flights) and a little oil. And it tastes sooooo good. Tastes like ground up graham cracker spread. They type your order in the iPad, ask for your name and you can pay cash or card. I paid cash, but if you paid with a credit card they'll swipe it on the iPad and it'll give you tip percentage options. I made sure to ask for my waffle in a to-go container first because it usually comes out on a plate, and they don't offer it unless you ask for the to-go box. The waffle itself is very thick and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. It isn't like your typical waffle, I did some research and instead of a batter it is a yeast dough with imported pearl sugar mixed in to give a caramelized outside and fluffy sweet inside. It's a very sturdy waffle that's piled with generous amounts of topping, in my case, crunchy Biscoff spread, strawberries and a scoop of a luxuriously thick homemade whipped cream. You definitely need a fork and knife to wolf this sucker down. Don't be fooled, though, it may look small but I was definitely full before I finished the entire waffle. It was a little wait for the waffle, as they do make it fresh, and a little pricey, but it was worth it. I was hooked, so I went on their Facebook and they do multiple locations every day. Be sure to follow them and stalk them to get your next Líege waffle. I know I will!

Out of all of the amazing choices, I ended up ordering the cookie crusher. My first bite, I was in awe, I immediately made my boyfriend taste it. Nothing short of amazing. Waffle was hot and fresh. Ready to try the rest of the menu!

The Berry waffle

AMAZING. You will never eat another waffle compared to this. We visited the truck at the Gilbert Farmers Market. Our order was ready in about 10 minutes. I opted for The Berry waffle. One delicious waffle, moist on the inside, crispy sugar goodness on the outside, topped with Biscoff, strawberries, and one large scoop of whipped cream goodness. I will never have another waffle quite like this. Make sure you have a water or black coffee near by to balance out the sweetness!

Xoxo Charcuterie - The Event Board

I decided to look online to see who could make a charcuterie board for me. And lucky for me XOXO Charcuterie came up in my search. I went to the website and saw the most adorable charcuterie boats...single portions!! OMG! That was perfect. People came in, grabbed a "boat", a drink and found a seat and settled down to listen to our speaker. But, back to the "boats". It was super easy to order them online. A quick text to check the date with Masha and after she gave me the go ahead, I just ordered them on her website. The best part? They delivered them at precisely the time she said they would! And, not only were they charming to look at, but they were delicious. Everyone loved them. They looked exactly like they looked on the website. I would highly recommend using XOXO CHARCUTERIE and I'm looking forward to contacting XOXO for our next event.

So instead of preparing this year's charcuterie board myself, I splurged and had XOXO create a masterpiece instead... and it was a hit! The ordering on the website was easy enough and after some texting back and forth, I had clear direction on the pick-up time too. It was ready upon arrival and it was beautiful and extremely tasty. The board and all of the ingredients were high quality. Our guests were pleased and so was I! I ate leftovers for days after the holiday too as there was plenty of meats, cheeses, honey, fresh fruit, dry fruit, nuts and more... The board was indeed a masterpiece and it came with great little serving utensils as well. I highly recommend XOXO and look forward to using them again in the future!

The Local Caterer - Charcuterie board

We did…read morea sample tasting for our potato bar dinner and were very pleased making only a slight change to the roasted vegetables. The beef was so savory and tasty, the potatoes cooked perfectly and the chicken was nicely seasoned and cooked. The bread was great and the herbed butter very good. On the day of however (3/29/25, my daughter's wedding), it was a different story. Though the potatoes were superb, the beef was without the savory sauce we sample tasted and only gravy as an optional add on which wasn't the same at all. There was no separate gravy at the sample tasting. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The toppings for the potatoes were at a separate table with no signage and it was too dark (outside event) to see what each was. The bread was not the Irish bread we sampled at all - rather some kind of fruit bread. And lastly, they made our dinner late by 15 minutes needing more time to get set up.

I would not recommend this caterer. Not one product we…read morereceived looked anything like the photos supplied in this yelp advertisement. The presentation or the food. My son and daughter-in-law were married in October of 2024. They met with Kassandra and ultimately ordered a bruschetta appetizer for each guest, followed by a dinner salad. Dinner was a selection of pastas and dinner rolls. The rolls were cold and hard a rock. I watched as a male child opened and dumped a bag of Costco rolls into a mixing bowl right before dinner service started. At least bring a steamer pot to make them warm, soft and edible. I picked up roll as he dumped them in the bowl and was immediately embarrassed that this is what was going to be served to our guests. If I were a caterer, I'd be mortified to serve food like that. **The bruschetta appetizer my daughter-in-law ordered was NOT served with the dinner and each guest did not get one. ** My daughter-in-law paid for the dinner portion of the wedding and I paid for a charcuterie table to be served during cocktail hour. Kassandra made the executive decision to put the dinner bruschetta on the charcuterie table instead of serving it to each guest as an appetizer. So I paid for a full charcuterie table to feed 120 and my dIL paid for a bruschetta appetizer separately but yet Kassandra combined the two separate orders and served one bruschetta. Essentially we were double-charged for food that Kassandra combined without consulting with us. I also paid $420 for a water and Ice tea station. Kassandra set up a makeshift table with a gallon of water (with some cut of fruit) and a gallon of tea and a little ramekin with 4 sugar packets. That was it. No decor, no cups, nothing. $420 plus an additional 20%tip for WATER and ice tea!!!! Once the dinner service was over, (the reception was just beginning- dancing hadn't even started ) Kassandra took the two containers of tea and water and Dumped them out!! I was made aware of it because people began asking me where the water and tea had been moved to. Meanwhile, I had a 2 - gallon containers in the bar area that were empty that Kassandra should've poured the tea and water into instead of dumping it out. I paid for it, I didn't borrow the tea until dinner service was over. She also took the water and tea and dumped it out on the side of my house. I know this because the fruit that was in the water was strewn about all over the ground beside my House. I also purchased a $1500 dessert table that was filled with stale lady fingers and little round mushy cheesecakes that were served in soggy PAPER wrappers that no one could get them out of without making a big mess. The dessert table underwhelming and disappointing. We also ordered a chocolate fountain.Kassandra brought a $19 Walmart version of a chocolate fountain and started setting it up during the reception speeches. Since the chocolate fountain was small and cheap Kassandra knocked it over right after the chocolate started melting and chocolate went everywhere. All over the table and candles and dessert plates (that I provided) the bricks and soaked into the antique wood table top. It took us two weeks to get the chocolate out of the creases of the wood. We had to treat the table with a product to help soak up all the oil that was in the chocolate and ultimately had to sand the table down. The entire dessert table went straight into the garbage can. There was nothing fresh or homemade about those desserts. I think this caterer is one of those businesses that decided to start a catering business and are figuring it out as they go along. That's fine as long as you are not charging five tier pricing on a 1 tier product and service. She also charged and was paid in advance for an all gratuity which is outrageous especially how the caliber of the product and service was not remotely comparable to the product and service we paid. I called Kassandra the day after the wedding to discuss the situation over the bruschetta - she said she couldn't talk so I texted her my concerns and she never responded back to Me. Again, I would not recommend this caterer. She is highly under qualified and over priced . And, I am telling you that nothing we had was fresh or locally made or homemade. It was Pure Costco through and through. The day after the wedding, once we had a day to settle down and process the event we realized that no one got a Bruschetta appetizer. I messaged Kassandra about that issue and that's when she told me she put them on the charcuterie table to make it "look more full." I paid for a charcuterie table for 120, it should've looked full because that's what I paid for. There was definitely not 120 bruschetta on the charcuterie table anyway.

My wife and I love to cook and have prepared some outstanding meals at home over our 40 years together. We have extensively traveled and lived throughout the world and as such developed pallets for superb cuisine from all over. As we grew older we gleaned the best of what we enjoy and developed them into our own cooking skills. My wife being Korean born refined her cooking skills in the eastern cuisine like Korean, Japanese, Thailand, and others while I have refined my skills with French and Italian. Prescott is a beautiful place to live but its culinary basis is built on sawdust. We usually cook for ourselves if we want a top notch meal. Now the past several years I have been confined to a wheelchair and transport is very limited. We used to spend winters in Hawaii where we could get great quality meals and seafood whether we prepared them or went out. So our 40th! I wanted to do something special for my wife since I have not been living up to my end of our culinary relationship being confined to a wheelchair. Thus I started seeking out a Chef that would come to our home with his staff and prepare a custom made meal for us. I selected Chef Thomas and Copper State Kitchen. I started by a rather lengthy discussion via phone and followed up with sending Chef Thomas some of our favorite recipes, sufficient for him to develop a five-course meal for us. Chef Thomas is very professional and easy to work with. We refined the meal over the next two days we agreed on the following proposed menu; I supplied the wines. Amuse-Bouche * Fig Jam, Blue Cheese, Red Wine Poached Pear & Arugula Crostini Starter * Prime Rib Poke with sesame crunch and microgreens and pipkuala aioli (based on my deconstruction of the infamous Tiki Bar in Waikiki dish) Pasta Course * Lobster Tagliatelle in a Champagne Cream Sauce Main Course * Beef Wellington with foie gras and red wine demi-glace Dessert * Crème Brûlée (torched table-side) Wine Pairings * Santa Margarita Prosecco DOCG * Domaine Salmon Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc * Tenuta de Sesta Brunello di Montalcino 1996 * Chateau Rieussec 1st Grand Cru Classe 1863 Sauternes 2004 Every course was perfect and very enjoyable.
