I was at the Arizona State University West Valley Campus today when I saw the Waffle Love food truck on-campus. They were giving away three waffle options as a part of an event on-campus. The options were Strawberries & Cream, Biscoff & Cream, and Churro & Cream. I chose the Biscoff & Cream waffle. While I only had a bit of the cream, I absolutely loved the crispy and tasty waffle with the Biscoff butter spread on top. I was also impressed by how quickly the Waffle Love team prepared and gave out their waffles. While the event at ASU was listed as a private event, you can see where Waffle Love will be on any given day by visiting the calendar on their website: https://wafflelove.com/waffle-love-arizona#azcalendar. You can see which farmers markets and food truck events they will be. The menu for the food truck is online which includes 10 sweet Belgian waffles, 1 savory Belgian waffle (grilled cheese & bisque), and a build-your-own waffle with six topping options. Also on the website, you can sign up for their loyalty program to earn points with each purchase eventually earning you a discount or free food. By signing up for weekly e-mails, you can also join the birthday club to receive a digital coupon for a free Red Wonder (biscoff, raspberries, strawberries, whipped cream) on your birthday. Waffle Love also offers catering, merchandise, gift cards, and dough balls. While I only saw the food truck at a private event with three options, I can't wait to try it again soon with a larger number of options, perhaps the entire menu of sweet, savory, and build-your-own Belgian waffles! read more

Waffle Love makes waffles with the perfect crunchy to fluffy ratio. Sweet or savory, the waffles are *mwah!* delicious! No pictures because we were busy eating as we took a break from walking around the Gilbert Farmers Market. I ordered a build your own starting with a liege waffle. I debated between biscoff spread and lemon curd... I really enjoyed the lemon curd! It was tangy and sweet and paired perfectly with the waffle. We have Waffle Love come out to our workplace every February and it's always a hit with our employees! This time around I had the Cinna Love It was warm, buttery and scrumptious! My coworkers all enjoyed their waffles as well. I wasn't sure about ice cream in the morning, but I saw several people chowing down on the Cinnabliss, which comes with fried ice cream! Just ordered 3 items from the truck got home and found NO soup in the cup they gave us. That is 1/2 the dish. Grilled cheese and Bisque. When I went back to get it fixed we asked them to also make a new grilled cheese since now our food is cold and the other waffles probably will be messed up as well. They REFUSED and told me to bring back the grilled cheese and they will heat it up. They claim that no one on the truck is a manager so they can't just make us another waffle. We were told "it was a mistake", yeah no kidding! But seeing as how it was their mistake I feel they should have been a lot more friendly. We didn't even get an apology til we were walking away. If you're going to hit a food truck avoid this one. Staff is unpleasant. read more

Well, my first experience at the Waffle Love food truck was a very positive one! I had issues trying to figure out which one to get but decided on the Cinnamon Roll waffle. If I could give more stars I would. I am OBSESSED with this truck and these waffles. I often give myself excuses to go after them! The waffles are uh-MAZING! Just enough sweetness, cooked to perfection and there are enough variations that you are sure to find one you'll love. The value is totally there. Quality ingredients and freshly made, you can't beat that! The waffle with toppings is pretty big. It's a perfect size for me but it's definitely shareable! My favorite is Nutella Love (cause duh, Nutella) but I do raspberries instead of strawberries. I'm not sure if their cream is fresh but it sure tastes like it is! Depending on the location/time they will get super busy so if you're in a rush I wouldn't recommend it. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Finally got to try Waffle Love!! We got the Waffle Works and the Cinnamon one. I absolutely love Belgian waffles and have been dying to try these in the states. The truck itself is absolutely adorable and the workers are so friendly. We also tried their Pina Colada, which was very refreshing. I gave it 4 stars because I thought the price was a bit high and the sweetness of all the flavors drown out the original waffle taste. I will definitely chase them down again soon but this time, ask to go light on the whip cream and etc. This truck would be an absolute success in CA by a park or the beach where people can chill outside. The Waffle itself is small. smaller than your typical Belgian waffle or a home frozen waffle. The toppings are berries, ice cream, Nutella, chocolate spread and some fruits. Price is pretty high 2 waffles almost $20. They taste good and have a wonderful texture. But I don't think it's worth an hour wait. Seriously if there are 6 people ahead of you be prepared to wait 40-60 minutes. Also it's a food truck so watch where you park nearby, Waffle love seems to attract a lot of young teen drivers. read more

Since the Gilbert restaurant location closed my mom and I drive to find the truck wherever it is every weekend. Sometimes it's up in Peoria or down in Maricopa but I will continue to drive so far for it because there's nothing like it. I get the strawberries and creme & my mom gets 1/2 Nutella 1/2 peanut butter with bananas and they're always delicious.
