Chicken bowl w/brown rice and no teriyaki sauce.

Good location, plenty of parking, awesome and hard-working employees, good prices and of course, AWESOME food!

I placed an order online and picked up in store. Interior looked clean and the staff was helpful and asked if I wanted any additional sauces. I had a tofu mini bowl for the first time and I prefer tofu to chicken as my protein. It wasn't busy at all when I went. Overall an ok Waba Grill to go to.

Super fresh food that came out quickly. Juliana was my server and she was incredibly helpful, kind, and informative. I asked her about the different options and her opinions, and she pointed me in the right direction. I have found a new spot to eat while I'm at school at CPP. This place is phenomenal

Attention to detail here is lacking big time. Placed an online order for a chicken bowl, substitute for all white meat chicken (Paid the extra amount required). When I got home, I realized it was not white chicken at all. Just a bunch of sloppily cooked pieces of chicken fat and darker meat.

Sweet and Spicy chicken bowl with brown rice and veggies. Plus a side salad.

I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken bowl with brown rice. Everything tasted delicious and fresh. Also the customer service was GREAT. Thanks Waba Grill in Walnut!

    No good

I can't believe they would serve an avocado like this... paid extra for nothing !!! So upset. I called and no one answered....

    Half beef....half chicken..

I'm not a fan of my brother's last minute decisions as he's driving to pull up into a place and ask me if I'm hungry. I guess??? Don't I get to pick where I get to eat. He drives crazy too. Half beef... Half chicken... Beef portion was really tasty and enjoyable. Chicken although slightly dry was quite good. Service was good, place clean. Now back to my brother's crazy driving. Anyone got a helmet?

I ordered the tofu stew with sausage, and the portion was huge!! I ended up splitting it over two meals. I also added an egg for an extra $2.50, which was a nice touch. Overall, the stew was delicious and really hit the spot. The ordering process is pretty straightforward bc you pay first before finding a seat. There's also plenty of parking available outside, which is super convenient. One cute detail I loved was the small ice cream bar in the front which it adds a fun touch to the place. I'd definitely come back again!

The interior was a more empty feeling space but maybe it was because it was just empty on a Saturday evening. The food itself was honestly just okay. I have had some curry udon in the past, but it just feels like this was a packaged curry with udon noodles and sausage. This was not worth the price. Same with the spicy rice cakes. The sauce and soup was solid, but a bit too much tang and it felt more like a packaged rice cake you can buy from the store the cheese was melted at first, but it became hard quickly after. I don't think I'd recommend both of the items. The saving grace was the Korean fried chicken wings. These are good, the sauce was yummy, and the texture was great. I was disappointed because of the high remarks for this place.

Been meaning to come since they first opened and finally had the chance to come try!…read more We got the original chicken wings bucket, the waffle fries, a waffle, and a drink. The chicken wings are delicious they use dark meat which is moist and has a thin lightly fried layer. The waffle fries are also crispy and tasty. The waffle is on the thicker end but still love the sugar they add in it which gives a good sweetness to go with your savory chicken. I don't feel overly greasy or full even after eating all of it! My only recommendation would be to add a thin paper on the trays as it does tend to be a little messy, but that's just preference! But everything was super tasty, and I am definitely going to come back and get more chicken for my fried chicken cravings!

Went on a weekday during lunch, a few people were sitting and eating. I ordered their 3 for $10, bucket of chicken, small order of chicken nuggets. Everything was right under $40. The 3 for $10 are regular sized fried chicken sandwiches, it was tasty and juicy. My husband would have liked the chicken to be crisper. The nuggets were good as well, similar to McDonalds but better. The bucket of fried chicken were delicious as well. Same fried consistency as the chicken sandwich. Like a soft crisp? I didn't mind, maybe because they used tempura batter instead? We also tried all their sauces. $0.39 each, they were all good. I liked the spicy one. Overall, not bad, pretty good and will definitely come back due to the juiciness of the chicken, the price is pretty good and the customer service was great!

After trying multiple roast duck delis, I can confidently say Duck Palace is one of those places…read morethat quietly delivers exactly what you want--no gimmicks, just consistently well-executed classics this far east of SGV Let's start with what you're here for: the roast duck. This is where Duck Palace really earns its name. The skin hits that ideal balance--lightly crisp with a slight lacquered sheen--while the meat underneath stays juicy and flavorful without being overly fatty. It's not trying to be trendy or reinvent anything; it's just done right. The seasoning leans traditional Cantonese--savory, slightly sweet, and aromatic without being heavy-handed. I did not try the supporting dishes, but they had a good variety outside the roast duck. This is where you can tell whether a place is a one-hit wonder or a true kitchen. They had BBQ combo plates, stir-fried dishes, and various sides. Service here is efficient, is part of the charm. You're coming for good food, done well. Best to call in to reserve a duck ahead of time because they will sell out by mid-afternoon. The space itself is clean and straightforward--more casual than upscale--but comfortable enough for both quick meals and relaxed family meals. What I appreciate most about Duck Palace is the consistency. The price is reasonable for what you are paying for and the duck combo meal is enough to feed 2-3 people. Pro tips: - Go earlier in the day if you want the freshest roast selections. - Takeout holds up surprisingly well (the duck skin still has some integrity if you don't let it sit too long). - Great option when you want authentic flavors without driving deeper into the valley. - Discount for paying in cash Bottom line: If you're in Diamond Bar and craving authentic Cantonese roast meats, Duck Palace is a reliable go-to. It may not be flashy, but it delivers where it counts--and sometimes, that's exactly what you want.

Most duck places in SGV still have the gamey taste of duck. My friend got the salted chicken, and that was delicious too. Their sets come with cold side dishes and rice. Keep that in mind if you have to go somewhere else after.

It's a Mom pop shop with the family working every role in the restaurant. They had a bunch of to go orders lined up, and plenty of people in there. You can tell they were making each order fresh and to order. We all got different things from combination chicken rice bowls to the tender meals. The food took a while, but you can tell the girl working at the counter was doing her best given the amount of orders and the speed with which the food was coming out. My food was the last to come out, and it had been sitting on the counter for a while, and she forgot to bring it to the table. The tenders were a little soggy due to sitting in the box and steaming, but the overall flavor of the sauce and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Definitely a place to give a second try.
