Pretty solid spot! Price is really fair here for getting duck 3 ways. Duck is crispy and plentiful! The crispy pork belly with the spicy cumin seasoning is a good choice too.

They specialize in duck. soooo good. i love their sides. service is good. lots of parking in the lot. a lot of nice open lighting which makes the restaurant look very bright.

This place is pretty good for authentic duck, a local hole in the wall. The duck didn't amaze me but it was pretty solid and fulfilled our cravings. It's a small business and there isn't much service, but the workers are friendly and helpful. They have different ways they cook the duck, from wraps, to soup, to frying it!

This place is as authentic as one could get for a name like 'Duck Palace', it's stupid coming here as a vegetarian but I've been tempted more than once and the first deny was easy but I had to try it after the second/third time upon presentation and immense hunger. Ducks are roasted fresh and dripping with fat just staring right at you as one peruses the menu. All the cold side dishes are very traditional, the side hot sauce is very Schezwan, proper tingling on the lips and speech. The staff speak Chinese mostly, walking out of here feels like I've just been through the chilliest airport/customs. Both the roast duck and salted boiled duck are excellent!

Little hole in the wall restaurant in Diamond Bar with local Chinese vibes. As other reviews mention, it helps knowing some Mandarin but otherwise you could just point at what you want on the menu. The servers helping us were really sweet. * Half roast duck combo (5/5) - comes with delicious bone broth soup! The wrap is a little thicker than Im used to but still delicious * Dried tofu mix (5/5) - a little spicy, vinegary, and umami

Chinese duck spot that serves a great deal for a set that includes roast duck, duck bones with cumin, soup, wraps, and accoutrements for $70. We did get extra wraps and that was $6 more. You can call to order ahead but they were still able to accommodate us as walk-ins. They speak some English and take credit cards. Parking is free in the lot. The roast duck was succulent and the skin was perfectly crispy. The four of us finished everything. I'd recommend coming as a group of at least 4.

$18 for assorted vegetable is crazy Duck is good. Almost no service. No water served. No ventilation at all. The room full of unpleasant smells.

Very good value small restaurant. The duck combo was more than plenty for 2 people. If you're craving duck, this is a good place. I like the cumin duck neck dish as well. The only dish that could be improved was the soup in my opinion. It was a bit bland. Since this is a small restaurant ran by a lady, service is to be expected at minimum. The only drawback is if you don't speak Chinese, you may have some trouble communicating verbally.

This is a great spot to order takeout. They are quick and efficient. They can cut the duck regular chopped or peking style which is sliced and also buns, onions, and sauce. I've gotten both, but my favorite was the peking style for all the fixings. The duck was juicy, tender and the flavor was a perfect saltiness. They offer a variety of pre-packaged items as well, my favorite was the pickled lotus and seaweed. The crunch of the lotus root was so still there with that brininess from being pickled. It cut through eating multiple pieces of duck and just the fat coat that comes with that. We also ordered the liver, but would skip that for next time. This little strip mall has a lot of great spots like Torotea and Nini's bakery! Would recommend!

Truly a hidden gem! I had been craving Peking Duck for a while and stumbled upon this place while perusing Yelp. It is good to note that there is kind of a language barrier but the staff is very nice and try to be helpful! All i ordered was the roast duck combo and it was such a deal! It probably was a meal for 3-4 people but I left happily with leftovers. It came with duck bone soup which came with some veggies and tofu. It was very white pepper forward (which I really liked) and overall a good complement to the whole meal. It also came with duck neck and the leftovers of the leg which were deep fried and coated in an aromatic and spicy dry rub. This was so flavorful and fun to eat. Now the main star of the meal was the duck itself and the meal came with 2 whole plates of it all deboned! It also came with a thin crepe-like pancake which they kept warm in a steamer, julienned scallions and cucumbers as well as hoisin sauce. I just love the experience of making your own little wrap. Overall, I loved that this meal did not waste any part of the duck. We came in around 1pm on a Sunday and there was only another party of 4 dining inside but there were plenty of customers coming in and out buying duck to-go or the marinated dishes they had! I'd love to come again! (:

I haven't had Peking duck in such a long time, this place really hit the spot. We got the 3 course duck that includes a duck soup, deep fried neck and legs, and Peking duck. The Peking duck comes with a steamed box of thin pancakes wraps, sliced cucumbers, and sliced scallions. I personally enjoy eating it this way compared to eating it with the steamed bun as most places I've been to. There was honestly a lot of duck and we were so full. Not to mention it was downright tasty! The deep fried duck was a nice texture and flavor change from eating all that Peking duck.

This is a pretty small restaurant. However, we've never actually eaten here. We've only ordered stuff to go. We love their Peking roasted duck and buy one almost every other week. It would be hard to find something better in the area. They also have a salted version. Along with the duck, we'll also buy their side items such as chicken feet, seaweed, peanuts, lotus, and liver.

I wanted to gatekeep this place but if it ever went out of business it might actually be my 13th reason. The first time we came, it was near closing and they were sold out of duck. Which they sell out of every day. Well before closing. We now know to call ahead to reserve a table and preorder duck so it's saved for us. Service was great, super friendly, quick, attentive. The duck. My goodness. Not gamey, not overly fatty or rich. Not too salty. So juicy. The fried skin and bones are generously seasoned. Spicy, umami, crispy. The perfect beer food. Duck soup. Not sure how to describe this other than clear, hearty, and... refreshing? Which I wouldn't have expected from a duck broth. Excellent. Veggies. Order these at the counter, mix and match up to three per plate, as many plates as you'd like. Light, vinegary, perfectly complementary to the duck.

We placed the order at the self-service kiosk. We considered ordering their fried chicken wings but they were all sold out, so we ordered their popcorn chicken ($7.50), chicken strips (6 pcs) for $7, and Garlic Parmesan Fries ($6.95) for dine-in. We picked White Garlic Alioli sauce for the popcorn chicken and Chicciety sauce for the Chicken Strips and Fries. It took a bit long for them to make our order even though we were the 2nd order in line. We waited about 15 minutes before we got our order. The portions were big. The Garlic Parmesan Fries were delicious and flavorful but you better chew gum after eating them because it has a strong garlic flavor. The Chicken strips were huge! They were big and long strips. The chicken meat was tender, but the crust outside was too crunchy and greasy. We like the Chicciety sauce though. The popcorn chicken was also cut into big pieces and the flavor was spicy. We would rather have the Taiwanese popcorn chicken than this one though. Overall, it was okay but we were not impressed either. We've had better Taiwanese and Korean Fried Chicken though. I hope they can improve the speed of the orders.

I ordered the original chicken sandwich ($8.45) and made it into a combo (+$6.00). There are 0 descriptions for the sandwich, but you do get your choice of breast or thigh meat and your level of spice. The enormous chicken patty comes sandwiched between two soft buns alongside some slaw and pickles. The chicken is delicious - the batter is light and crispy and the meat is so moist. The slaw is the perfect complement to the fried chicken patty. - It adds a cooling effect to the spiciness. I also shared an order of their chicken strips ($7). Wow, for $7, you get a really generous portion of chicken tenders (I counted 7 in my order). The chicken tenders are the same as the patty: good batter, tender meat. They're not as thick, but I'm okay with that. You also get your choice of a dipping sauce. I chose the Chicciety sauce which is a lot like the Chick-fil-A sauce. I also went ahead and ordered all of the sauces for an additional $.50 per sauce. Of these, the white garlic aioli and creamy cucumber wasabi were terrific. Everything else was pretty standard. Chicciety is worth checking out if you like chicken sandwiches. I'll be back to try their wings.

It was 79 degrees inside, muggy, humid, and completely uncomfortable. We almost turned around and left immediately. We both ordered hot tea. The menu clearly says in English that hot tea is $2.99. Nowhere does it clearly explain in English that you will be charged differently depending on how many people drink it. When the bill came, we were charged $5 each. Apparently, there is some clarification written in Chinese, but how are customers who do not read Chinese supposed to know that? That is completely misleading. The tea portions were not larger, not special, nothing different. Just basic tea. The pricing felt deceptive. We also ordered popcorn chicken and chili wonton soup. Both came out in tiny portions that looked like appetizers, yet the menu does not clearly label them as such. For what we received, paying over $30 total felt ridiculous. The food itself was mediocre at best. Nothing memorable and definitely not worth the price. Because of the uncomfortable temperature, confusing pricing, small portions, and average food, we chose not to leave a tip. As we were walking out, the waiter chased us outside and pressured us about the zero tip. That is completely inappropriate. Tipping is not mandatory. It is earned.
