    Stir-fried green beans
    Sherman L.

Food 4/5 - Ordered #1 house bowl with egg noodles and stir-fried green beans. #1 house bowl is delicious, this is chiu-chow style soup, as the broth is light and savory with garlic, but not very salty. Shrimp is good sized, and the sliced pork and fish balls/cakes are soft. The egg noodles have good texture and are generously portioned. Stir-fried green beans have good "wok-hei" and the green chilis give it a nice little kick. Price $$ - Price is very good for the portions that were served. Service 3/5 - Service is average, they did make a round to refill our waters. Ambiance 3/5 - Interior is average, as there's nothing visually to capture your attention span while waiting for your meal. Overall - Had a pleasant experience and would visit again.

Growing up in the 626, Kim Ky and Kim Kee were always staples. I'd still make the drive out to Rosemead for some of the best Teochew noodles around, but for this area, NoodleMii is actually pretty solid. I usually go for dry noodles while my wife prefers soup noodles, so we tried both. Unfortunately, the dry noodles fell a bit short, but the #1 House Soup Noodle was definitely the standout and noticeably better. Overall, we'd come back for the soup noodles and to try some of their other items, like the beef udon and beef chow fun.

A good option for teochew noodles, the flavors here are addiciting....The prices are pretty good, and this is probably the closest place near Diamond Bar you'd be able to get it. Their chicken wings are pretty well priced, and fried well. However, the wings aren't always consistent in the type of wing they give you, it can range from a piece of a drummette, wingette, and a wing tip. NOODLEMii doens't really offer too much in terms of service near closing time, but are pretty attentive when someone is up front. If you're looking for an easy, quick, and tasty meal, this a really good option.

I found out about NoodleMii from going to Torotea. It's in the same plaza, and as someone who loves noodles, I wanted to check it out! They mostly serve rice/egg noodles with and without soup. If you're familiar with Kim Ky noodle in San Gabriel, they have some similar style noodle soups. They also serve stir-fried noodles and fried rice and rice plates, if you prefer those instead. I like their house bowl, which comes with shrimp, sliced pork, assorted fish cake, minced pork, and rice noodle. The soup is comforting, and you can choose egg noodles or rice noodles. I think their broth is not as good as some others I've had, but it's still pretty good. Prices are reasonable, and service is friendly. I'd come back if I were craving the noodle soup and didn't want to drive to San Gabriel.

We tried it over a year ago and it was soo delicious! We recently returned and the quality had gone down a lot. The soup was way too salty and they didn't give nice cuts of the duck. They also never refilled our water when we were there. You can definitely tell in the photo, I posted our last experience and our most recent experience, what a quality difference there is in the duck noodle soup. Disappointed.

#1 house noodle - pretty good!

WOW! It's been a while since I've seen these prices for noodles/noodle soups! $10.75 - $12 for a bowl (decently sized too) is amazing! The restaurant was empty when I went and it made me nervous initially, but fret not! This is a legit good spot for a quick meal. The egg noodles are great here, not the best we've had, but we aren't in Alhambra, so expectations need to be realistic haha. The broth is the same for all of the noodles soups except the beef one is what we were told. I think they could've held back a little bit on the fish sauce (?) as it was very strong in my side broth, but not the worst! The toppings for seafood/meat was decent, they weren't skimpy and the noodles portion was great! I loved my dry noodles, but warning: some of you might think it a bit bland. It was perfect for me though haha. I'd order it again! The beef skewers were wayyyy too salty for my liking. So I deducted a star there. But overall a solid restaurant and I love that it's a mom&pop shop, so I'm all for supporting this business. For the price, it's a 4 star place for sure. Come check them out! $32 for everything here including tax!

I've been looking for an egg noodle/ Hu Tieu place in the Fullerton area for a while but there are none so the closest thing was Diamond bar! What a hidden gem! The prices are unbeatable - $10.75 for this bowl of noodles. I love that you can personalize what kind of noodles you want so I opted for thin egg and wide rice noodles. The flavors were great. Next time I would probably get the duck instead because my one complaint was that the pork was pretty chewy and hard. Ambiance was like any other Chinese restaurant and there was plenty of parking.

    Dani S.

Upgrading to 5 stars after recent experience! Came here and got the basil eggplant dish with rice recently and it was delicious! Flavor is very good, not oily or salty like some of the other places, and the garlic was just right not too much. Portion size is very good and it comes with rice. Service was fast and efficient, very nice and friendly. Whole place is clean. Easy parking. Highly recommend!

Vietnamese/Chinese egg soup noodle places are a rarity now. We used to have a lot of them in the garden grove OC area, but they've all mostly died out. Only the OG Mi La Cay is still decent and only the location next to ABC market is any good. We tried another similar Vietnamese/Chinese place in Arcadia LA and their food was meh while being overpriced. Noodlemii on the other hand has the OG Vietnamese/Chinese taste that Mi La Cay once had while providing great prices in this inflated economy. We can barely afford to go out anymore, but we'll definitely come back here. I got the wonton noodles with bbq pork. The pork was sweet and tender. While the wontons were very meaty with chunks of shrimp inside. The broth was savory while not overly salty. The noodles were chewy and tasty. 5/5 My wife got the dry noodle special #10 that was really good too. Add a pork bone and it would be perfect for her. Chinese donuts were light and crispy 5/5 Popcorn chicken was 4/5 it was missing spice, though they didn't offer it in spicy. We're just really used to spicy popcorn chicken lol Overall, we're excited to come back with our parents and show them that this place is better than Mi Lay Cay.

A rainy day calls for a nice tasty hot bowl of noodle soup and this place definitely delivered. Service was good and the food came out very quick though it seems we were the only second party to arrive. Definitely recommend the #1 House Bowl soup and you can do half rice and half egg noodles if you cannot decide and want to enjoy both. Popcorn chicken was well seasoned and my 8-year old ate every bite of his diced filet mignon and rice.

    Hainan chicken soup

Came back after many years and am still mind-unblown.. underwhelmed and slightly embarrassed.. nothing was bad or great. Just paid for a meal and now I'm full. But nothing in me nor the Hainan chicken noodle soup makes me want to revisit. The black pepper udon was.. pretty good but not enough. The popcorn chicken was also.. pretty good but missing something crucial. Like more basil and/or seasoning?

It offers a generous portion of tender, juicy meat and springy, fresh noodles. "DELICIOUS!!" I arrived at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) on Sunday (around 11AM). Parking is easy. The lot is big with many spots. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, but Staff spoke limited English. Fortunately, pointing at the menu was clear enough. The food took eight minutes and nine seconds. Fast time! As mentioned, the Beef Rib Noodle Soup ($16.50 - Mild) is wonderful! It arrived picturesque and delicious!! However, despite ordering "mild," the food has a very strong heat; I sweat nonstop as I ate. The broth is rich, savory, and spicy. The meat is tender, flavorful, and falls off the bone. And the noodles are hefty, soft, and springy. It's a wonderful, euphoric combination of flavors and textures. Concerning ambiance, No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) is surprisingly spacious with its tall ceiling and relatively clean surroundings. However, its walls and furniture look worn down with time. Some seats even had torn holes. Unfortunately, the music uses radio with constant commercials playing in the background. Fortunately, there's a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I found culinary magic at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights). The food is fresh, generously portioned, and well-prepared. I left full with a bright smile. If you enjoy spicy beef noodle soup, this is a must-try! 5 out of 5!! "GO!!"

A small square table was added alongside it to allow more seating. We had 11 people total. The staff ladies were helpful, but they weren't too smiley though. Anyway, we each ordered our own dishes instead of family style since the seating arrangement was not convenient for the latter. Everything I ate was delicious from roasted duck to steamed chicken to fried chicken wings to Taishan cauliflower with fish fillet. They had a special on the steamed chicken... buy half get half free for $23.99. Basically, you're buying a whole chicken for $23.99. Very tender and tasty chicken. Yum! What I liked, soup base clear, had hints of Sand Ginger, Umami Bone Broth, hints of cinnamon, heavy parsley/ cilantro, fennel, star anise, black cardamom, white peppercorns, mmmm, I can taste the broth even now, 2 days after that meal, very distinct, and when paired with their in-house chilli oil, not the one on the table, the actual spicy one they exclusively keep inside the kitchen, you can taste the additional layers to the chilli oil and it just brings the entire LanZhou Noodles to a whole another level. The lamb Rou Jia Mou was really filling. I liked the quantity, not overtly big, not too greasy, and had just the right amount of protein to keep the dish an appetizer, as you await the main course. Pickedled Sweet Kimchi Cabbage was also very enjoyable, although I prefer the in house ones made at Yumi Time in City of Industry better crispiness to the bite in their version and more balanced taste. A solid four, because I'm biased. Having worked with two extremely talented masters in Phoenix Arizona, I've tasted what could be the best LanZhou Noodles and Best Xiao Long Bao any seasoned restaurant staff could ask for. My former colleague Hand Pulled Noodle Master chef Shuai used to head the reknown LanZhou Noodles place in Gaithersburg Maryland serving up all those Ambassadors, Lobbyists, DC Politicians, and when we were in Phoenix Arizona, along with Pastry / Flour Dim Sum Master Chef Sister Ying, we concocted probably the best Xiao Long Bao / Rou Jia Mou and LanZhou Hand Pulled Noodles to ever grace the lands of Arizona and in my opinion, was far superior than any other place in Los Angeles. But again that's just me. I'm biased and I've been blessed to sit down, and have worked with some of the best small kitchen crews and experience great staff meals. And this leads to me to my conclusion: Yes, I'm putting this restaurant officially on my #2 for Chinese Noodle Soups in LA. This place will from now on be in my casual rotation. A no frills, real, down to Earth Noodle Shop. Why I like it? Just the overall setting doesn't try too much. On the surface it looks really plain, boring, not much to expect. The braised tofu in brown sauce was consistently hot on the inside. The delicious brown sauce soaked throughout the vegetables. The chicken chow mein didn't have a lot of sauce, but it was still delicious with a lot of meat included. Overall, it would be nice to visit again outside of a peak time because the food prices are competitive. The menu is expansive, and the breakfast selections look interesting. The atmosphere during the Sunday lunch peak time was consistently bustling. I think the restaurant started to play Chinese music loudly at random points so that people could finish dining more quickly.

Overall, charming, low-key, and absolutely not to be slept on. My partner, whose favorite dish is and has always been spicy beef noodles, after one bite officially crowned their Spicy Beef Noodle as his new favorite, dethroning Noodle Street after a 3-year reign. And honestly... Fair. The broth is insanely deep and rich, and the wide hand-pulled noodles are fresh, long, bouncy, and soak up the flavor like they were built for it. As for me, it looks like my hunt for the perfect Spare Ribs ends here. Crisp on the outside (which I didn't even know was a thing for this dish), perfectly tender inside, and coated in a sauce that hits every pleasure center in my brain. I'd go back just for this dish. This and the Braised Eggplant with Green Beans. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was another win: crisp, light, and not cloyingly sweet. We also tried the Cauliflower Dry Pot, which was excellent, and overheard the table next to us raving about their Lamb Dry Pot.

They quickly bring the dishes out after you order and regularly check in on the table and refill water. The dishes here are very good. Some typical Asian dishes but also some different flavors/dishes from the common Asian restaurant. The popular dish seems to be the Hot Oil Noodles. We got it with tomatoes and egg and it was really good! Great flavor and i think the noodles and freshly cut. Everything we ordered had great flavor. Portion sizes are good and the pricing is fair.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming--nothing overly fancy, just a cozy spot that lets the food speak for itself. The menu has a great variety, but what really stands out is how consistent and flavorful everything is. Each dish comes out fresh, hot, and packed with that classic home-style taste that's hard to find these days. The portions are generous, making it perfect whether you're dining solo or sharing family-style. Service is also a highlight--the staff is attentive, friendly, and makes you feel right at home without being overbearing. Overall, Chan Kee is one of those hidden gems you'll want to keep coming back to. Great food, solid portions, and a comfortable vibe--can't really ask for more.

To start off, there was only one person at the store and he was handling everything with zero time management skill. Pickup time continuously got delayed and I had to wait over 30 minutes at the store from the initial pickup time. Then the porridge, omg-- seriously what happened? It was so bland and looked as if they have poured water over some rice powder... like they don't care. As others have mentioned, this location really is not even worth a star.
