Food is decent and ordering take out is quick and simple! Service is fair and only about three to four small tables available for dining at the restaurant. Casual ambiance with lots of foot traffic.

We ordered the seafood chow mein, Chinese broccoli with Satay beef and the 2 combination meat plate (roasted duck and roasted pork). All of the dishes were delicious! The seafood chow mein was crispy and flavorful. The Chinese broccoli with satay beef was tender. The roasted pork and duck were both crispy and juicy! The total for all this came out to about $58 before tax and tip. The meats were a bit too salty for our liking but it was still good! They give a free bowl of chicken soup for each person as an appetizer. Service was great and we received our food quickly. The restaurant is a bit small and had a limited amount of tables. There is plenty of parking in the plaza. I would recommend giving this spot a try if you're craving Hong Kong style food and HK barbecue!

The worker who was helping us was really friendly! The food here is reasonably priced and tasty! They also have a lunch special for $9.99 which is a pretty good deal! The interior was pretty small but they had tables for those who dine in.

Stopped by on Saturday, 08/16/25 during lunch time with my parents for the first time! We spontaneously found this location and wanted to try it out since we saw a bunch of customers dining in; this place is also pretty small. We had to wait around 2 minutes as the employees were cleaning up the table. We ordered the following: - 1 MK house special fried rice = $16.99 - 1 beef chow fun= $14.99 - 1 seafood pan fried noodle = $16.99 SUBTOTAL = $48.97 TAX = $4.77 TIP = $10 OVERALL TOTAL = $63.74 The wait time for our seafood fried noodle was quite long. We were given complimentary chicken feet soup which tasted amazing. The employees were very quick on their feet. Note that this place is rated B, not A. Overall one of the best Hong Kong and Cantonese style food you can ask for!

Very reasonable priced BBQ place. Chicken and BBQ with rice bento. A healthy option that I can eat with cucumbers. Service is fast. I called it in and picked it up pretty fast within 5 min.

Very very delicious food. Service was pretty good too. Unfortunately the kitchen was very slow. For 2 dishes I waited 30 minutes. However I would still return

Quaint to-go in RH for solid Chinese BBQ. It has about 8-10 tables if you wanted to stop and enjoy a your meal. Dine-in orders come with a house soup (chicken feet and peanuts(?) stew). The roast duck was juicy and roast pork had a good crunch (not too hard and just right). Overall, nice flavors, clean and good service all around. A good find for those lazy nights you don't want to cook!

I came here with my family (total of 4 people) early on a Saturday evening right before New Years and were seated promptly. The front of the store sells their delicious roasted duck separately, while the back of the restaurant is the sit down area. The owner and other workers were very accommodating and we were able to order and get our food very quickly. We ordered the yang chow fried rice, shrimp wonton noodle soup, 1/2 steamed chicken, and 1/2 roasted duck. The meat was so tender and delicious, especially the duck - the semi-sweet sauce they provided as dipping sauce especially enhanced the flavor. I'm also a fan of steamed chicken and my only complaint is to beware of the little bone bits (I'm sure every seasoned steamed chicken enjoyer would understand). The fried rice was also full of flavor, and my mom especially loved the wonton noodle soup. Overall, I'd love to come back for their duck the most - I was so enamored that I ordered another 1/2 to go at the front of the store. Just be sure to bring cash, as purchasing with card incurs an additional charge - I didn't know that but they graciously allowed me to pay the original amount with card, which was so appreciated.

two items on rice: roasted duck. + crispy roast pork = $12.99

I've been searching for a place like MK BBQ Cafe and here it is - the BBQ cafe of my dreams. All I really want when I'm ordering from one of these places is a combo plate. Give me some BBQ pork and some roasted duck over rice plz. Most places do a good version of one of the two. And most places are very pricey. At MK Cafe, a two item on rice is only $12.99! I chose the roasted duck and crispy roast pork. Both were very moist and tender. The pork skin was also nice and crispy. Hands down my favorite BBQ plate. On a recent visit, I tried the minced beef with egg ($16.99). Their version of this dish is very wet. It's much saucier than any other version I've ever tasted. I appreciated it, but I do think I prefer the drier version of this dish. I did, however, likedthe addition of the diced bell peppers. It helped enhance the overall flavors of the dish. Highly recommend coming here if you're into BBQ pork or duck.

We ordered from this restaurant on Uber Eats. Hubby has Uber One membership so delivery was free. We ordered roast duck and Chinese style bbq pork, no rice. When the order arrived, we were shocked at how little the servings were (see picture below). considering we were charged $45. The food was just ok. Nothing special. We'll never order from them again.

Walked by to the market and saw this place, and it's all in Chinese so I thought I give it a try since I enjoyed Chinese bbq. Walked in during lunch time 12:30-1pm on Wednesday and it has steady foot traffic for take out. There is special deal for takeout (not dine in). I got seated right away since I was the only dine in customer. Majority of the staff there speak Chinese and tiny English (I don't speak Chinese). But the menu does have English wording. I ordered 3 items over rice and ice tea or hot tea....i got iced water (at least I got 1/2 right). The service is nice, at least she trying to understand but lovely person. The place is clean and decor is simply and airy. Chicken feet soup came out and it part of the rice dish, compliments that is. It tasted good, and simi warm (even though the waitress said it's hot). The food came and it abit cold (the room is A/C and it's in 72-73 degrees so, was expected the rice will be hot and the meats will somewhat hot. But just simi cold. Tasty, moist, and tender. The dish cost around $13-$14 so not bad at all. Warmer would be nice. Easy parking since they are in big complex plaza.

The store itself is nothing fancy, very no-frills. Prices are very reasonable, which is the main draw here. One thing to note: rice or noodles are not included with your selections unless you order them separately or choose them as one of your items--and personally, I didn't find that option worth it. There's a wide variety of choices; some dishes were solid while others were pretty underwhelming, so it's definitely hit or miss. The dishes no longer have that proper wok hei flavor, and the food tasted bad on my recent visit. What made the experience even worse was the service. The staff were rude, dismissive, and acted annoyed that customers were even there. One of the girls, the one with the ponytail, was especially rude and needs to learn basic manners. Another staff member was also unfriendly and gave attitude the entire time. I also did not appreciate being pressured about tipping. A tip should be optional and based on good service. If the service is poor, customers should not be made to feel uncomfortable or confronted over it. On top of that, they add extra charges when using a credit card, including a fee if you spend under $30. That already feels frustrating, but the bigger issue is the attitude and poor treatment from staff. Customers are the reason businesses stay open. No one is asking to be treated like royalty, but people come in to enjoy a meal and should at least be treated with basic respect. If I am going to be ignored, rushed, and given attitude, I would rather stay home and eat in front of my TV. I will not be coming back .. food quality and customer service Nate major improve.

It does feel more intimate and enclosed with the partition being pretty high, but harder to flag someone down lol. The restaurant is also pretty small as well, but most of the servers were on the side where the kitchen was. We ordered the chefs recommendation along with the wasabi octopus. My bf also got a couple of beers in, so the total for two came out to be 200 with tip. As expected if you're dining for a wagyu experience. All components of the set came out fairly quickly. Starting off with the appetizers, which I wasn't too much into the cold meats but the one with the salad tasted better. Then came with the meat with sukiyaki, this one was pretty nice, but not the best I have tried in my opinion. Then came the meats for the grill, I wasn't sure which one was which, but I enjoyed the one that was shorter and more square as oppose to the rectangular looking one lol. The grilled meats were really good! I did also really enjoy how the banchan was very fresh. Then came the bibimbap which was also really good! I appreciate how there's a lot of nori in it, so it makes it so flavorful. Overall, it was a great experience dining here! I heard this place was here before Chubby Cattle, and in my opinon, I do think I enjoyed the food at Chubby Cattle more, but I liked how it wasn't as overstimulating. Especially it's not too loud, nor flashy, nor the overwhelming amount of food options, so it's a nice change of pace of a wagyu experience. I also asked if they celebrate birthdays here, which they got to bring over a frozen cheesecake that tasted like it was bought at the Japanese market next door lol.

The Premium menu includes quite a good variety of meats, such as beef tongue, LA kalbi short rib, rib finger, iron steak, along with seafood options like shrimp, octopus, and squid. We ordered beef tongue, thin sliced beef, pork belly, and marinated chicken. The beef tongue was probably the highlight--it grills nicely and has a good texture. The thin sliced beef and rib finger were decent for an AYCE spot--nothing extraordinary, but satisfying. The pork belly was flavorful and nicely fatty, which made it great on the grill. For side dishes, they offer a good selection including steamed egg, tofu soup, miso soup, ramen, salad, and kimchi. The steamed egg was soft and comforting, and the tofu soup had good flavor, which added to the overall meal. The restaurant environment is simple but comfortable, with spacious seating and clean grills. Service was reasonably attentive and refills of meat came at a decent pace. Considering the current Korean BBQ prices in the LA area, $34.99 for the Premium AYCE feels like a fair mid-range option. You get a lot of variety including seafood and multiple cuts of meat. That said, if you are looking for top-tier meat quality, this place may feel more average. Overall: a good spot for casual gatherings with friends when you want to enjoy plenty of grilled meat without spending too much.
