Yesterday went and ordered burgers and fries from the drive through around 11:00 am. When we got home I opened my burger up and I was wondering why it looked black around the edges. Both burgers were over burned and also our fries were cooked half way. I call the store and was told to bring them back. I wasn't going to waste $20.00. TODAY - I ordered a cheese charburger. It was too salty. I also had a side salad. The red onions were not fresh, wilted / transluscent and soft, looked like pickled onions more b/c they were old. The salad also had REALLY OLD SOFT cherry tomatoes or grap tomatoes that burst open with one try of the fork. FOOD GONE BAD. The salad also was hollow, lots of gaps, the pkg was not packed well. But the salad did have cheese, that other locations did not offer. I love the texture of your pepperocini's. Awesome fresh to order sandwiches and burgers. They have the very best veggie burger. Hands down my favorite. I like to order it on a seeded bun or a ciabatta. I don't care for whole wheat buns. It has lettuce, tomatoes raw onions and - cucumbers!! This takes the flavor over the top! Other stand outs are the tempura green beans - so crispy and good - with ranch. Fries are ok and thin style. Sweet potato fries are really good too, also thin style. The onion rings are excellent - not greasy, nice and crispy All of the burgers and salads are good Too just the veggie burger is the best! I ordered a chicken club sandwich through the mobile app. Once I picked up the food and brought it home excited to eat it. I found a hair on the bottom of my sandwich. Luckily when I was eating it, I flipped it over and saw the hair. Otherwise I would have eaten what looks like a beard hair. This is the only location I've ever gone to and it's getting progressively worse each time. I drive-thru ordered a side caesar salad ($4.69) and added mushrooms ($2.20) and my total came out to $7.56 after tax. Kinda pricey for how small it is. Also for $2.20, I expected more mushrooms but they literally put 3 pieces. They are larger pieces but it's not even half a portobello mushroom. It's like 1/4, if that. You can literally get 3 WHOLE mushrooms for $6 at the store. Insane. Thankfully I pulled over to park and eat in my car right after I went through the drive thru and realized they didn't even give me caesar dressing or any dressing at all. Literally the one thing that makes it a CAESAR SALAD was forgotten lmaoooo. I ordered in the kiosk and watched couple orders picked up that was made after ours. In addition, it took almost 15 mins to receive ours meals even after I had received a text saying our food was ready. Our order was for dine-in, and they made it to go. Lastly, they forgot my ranch that came with the green beans. It's the little things that make a big difference, and I just felt the manager on duty just didn't care enough. You allow so many customizations and options within the app. But how you manage to mess up a basic order, I will never know. Natalie she helped us and she is great we loved her took our orders all 6 of us helped us find a table for all us to sit together.. made sure our orders were right.... I love that you can have whatever bread you want I like my burger on sourdough. Been to this location to dine in and have ordered out and the service has been great. The burgers/sandwiches are comparable to all the big burger chains. The ingredients are fresh and great quality. The sides; fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings are exceptional! My one and only issue with the food is, why is it so greasy? Whenever we order pickup, they throw a load of napkins in there, all covered in grease. Either way, we definitely enjoy the food, but will probably ask for a bag with only napkins and condiments. The Habit Burger Grill serves burgers, sandwiches, salads, and milkshakes. I'm glad The Habit decided to open up in this plaza that was practically dead for almost a decade. This location is across from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and Chipotle. All these locations opened up around the same time like around 3 years ago. I've been here several times. Both drive-thru and dine-in. The people that take orders at the drive-thru seem to have a friendlier demeanor than those that work the counter. There are some cashiers at the counter that are friendly and some that look like they absolutely would rather be anywhere but there. Orders at the drive-thru and dine-in both take quite a bit of time but that's to be expected since it's well.. The Habit. Here's what I've tried so far: *Charburger with Cheese - Fresh tomatoes, thick cheese, juicy beef patty, and fresh lettuce held nicely between two soft toasted buns. There was one time where I decided to add avocado. It was a huge chunk of avocado. *Tempura Green Beans - Perfectly fried. The green beans were easy to bite into and were not stringy. *Fries - Outer portion was slightly firm with a fluffy and soft texture on the inside *Santa Barbara Cobb Salad - I usually get this without bleu cheese and get it with ranch dressing. Huge portion of the greens. Greens are fresh. Lots of chicken. Great portion of the egg, bacon, and diced tomatoes along with a big scoop of avocado. *Grilled Chicken Salad - All fresh ingredients. Great portion of the chicken. The chicken was perfectly grilled. Nice balance of toppings which include red leaf lettuce, red cabbage, Roma tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, carrots and croutons. *BBQ Chicken Salad - Probably my favorite salad of the salads here. This consists of chargrilled chicken breast, garden greens, hickory-smoked bacon, diced red onions, diced tomatoes, cilantro, and ranch dressing, topped with tangy BBQ sauce. This salad is definitely packed with lots of toppings and great portion of the grilled chicken. There's plenty of seating inside the restaurant. The queue for the drive-thru is not ideal as cars would stick out of the drive-thru into the parking lot. As a result, this makes it difficult for those trying to get out of the parking lot. On one of the visits, I ordered a Grilled Chicken Salad at the drive thru. When I opened it up at home, I ended up getting half of a Cobb Salad. Half because it had half of the ingredients for the Cobb Salad which were lettuce, grilled chicken, bleu cheese crumbles, and diced tomatoes. I absolutely abhor bleu cheese so I was disgusted by the salad. I tried calling the number to the restaurant. However, the number to call does not reach the restaurant and redirected to an ordering line which was frustrating. I told the representative over the phone and she told me to use the Contact Us form online. Frustrating but after sending my complaint I got 3 Chartickets sent to my email which was a nice remedy. I enjoy the food here especially the burgers and salads. Will be back for another visit! read more

I don't eat at the habit often, but when I go I get the Teriyaki Charburger, which I sub the meat for an impossible patty (+$2). Per their website, it's described as a freshly chargrilled beef patty, grilled pineapple, teriyaki sauce, caramelized onions, crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, pickle, and mayo on a toasted bun. For sides, I usually opt for their regular fries or tempura green beans...Don't forget to order one of their delicious milkshakes! My parents and I had a quick, casual, take out dinner here on Sunday - be warned, the line is long, long, long. I think there's an online order option that you should opt for if you're in a rush to get a meal on the table or if you're generally impatient. We ordered the following: -#1 charburger combo with onion rings + drink: crisp, chopped lettuce, fresh tomato, caramelized onions, pickles, with mayo on a toasted bun - +.75 cents for cheese = $11.99? -bbq bacon burger: crisp bacon, lettuce, fresh tomato, caramelized onions pickles + mayo on sourdough (we substituted for sourdough bread at no charge) = $6.15 -chicken club: chicken breast, green leaf lettuce, fresh tomatoes, crisp bacon, avocado + mayo on grilled sourdough = $8.50 To be honest, this is a better value and healthier choice than eating at Carl's Jr. It's reasonably priced here and I feel like the ingredients are much, much fresher and healthier. My only gripe is that I wish the chicken breast on my sandwich was a little more substantial, but hey, you pay for what you get. My chicken club was as good as it could get at this price range.
