My favorite sandwich is Torpedo Mafia. I asked with everything, including onions and yellow peppers. The other sandwich I have tried is the Godfather, also delicious. Eventually, I'll try others. I phone order, and usually done in 10 minutes.

    Veggie sandwich. Added avocado.

My favorite so far has been the Matt Cain, it's a popular one, but honestly you just can't go wrong here. We also added red onion and banana peppers for a little kick and it was perfect. Every sauce they have is amazing. I wish they sold it separately. They evenly place the meat and other fillings so you're not getting gross bites full of one thing, and their bread options are all great. We also had a butterscotch root beer and it was perfect for a fall treat. They gave us caramel lollipops with our sandwich which I loved. The man taking our order was super friendly and answered a bunch of questions we had, and they were playing actual good music the whole time. Another bonus: every location you go to has a slightly different menu. Their food is a little pricey but the sandwiches are big so you can split one or have enough for two meals. One of the best spots in the IE!

I suggest you back into the parking spot so you can get a clear view of how many cars are coming or going before you pull out of the spot. Never had a bad sandwich from Ike's in any location. We've been ordering from this one since it's the closest in the I.E. Never dined in-store, just pick-up. Our order is always ready by the time we pick-up and today it was ready 10 minutes before the projected pick-up time. They've been running these voting deals lately where you vote on your favorite sandwich between two of their signature sandwiches and I'll say, it's not only worked (it was buy one get one free of the winning sandwich), it's gotten me to try other sandwiches that I would never normally try. For years my go-to was the Menage-A-Trios and now I'm a fan of the KP Nasty sandwich. I've tried the Marshawn Lynch sandwich, also very good. This location is always clean and the employees are always pleasant and attentive.

We tried Hen & Heifer in Pomona and this one was an easy 10/10…read more I ordered The Narcissist, which is apparently their most popular burger, and I can see why. It comes with two fresh-ground premium beef patties, four slices of cheese, four strips of thick-cut bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and their homemade sauce. It was big, messy in the best way, and absolutely delicious. Shawn went all in with The Mannimal. Instead of a regular bun, it uses two grilled cheese sandwiches with a burger patty, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions in the middle. Definitely not a light lunch, but he loved it. We also shared the Belgian-style fries Cajun style. They were crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, full of flavor, and perfect for sharing. One thing that really stood out was the service before we even ordered. The cashier took the time to tell us all about their scratch-made food, explain some of the menu, and give us recommendations. You could tell there was real pride in what they serve. And apparently we weren't the only ones impressed. There was a consistent line of people waiting to order the entire time we were there. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. If you're craving a serious burger and fries, Hen & Heifer is absolutely worth a stop. 10/10. We would definitely go back. JustAskMouse.com

I heard about it…read morebefore, specifically some of the larger burgers like the Boss Hog, but I wasn't trying to eat as heavy before a concert. My friends and I got a heavy helping of information from the cashier after he asked if we'd ever been - which none of us had. He went over the menu, assuring us the ingredients were all freshly prepared in-house for the most part. I opted for a lighter (and cheaper) single patty burger - "The Creaminal", which featured a shmear of cream cheese and jalapenos. We also got some fries to share, as we were told an order could be shared between 2-3 people. We got an order of regular sea salted fries, and one order of cajun fries to share between 4 of us. They were right, it was plenty to go around. To start, the burger was good but nothing too extraordinary - especially given the lengthy preamble. But there was definitely some house made quality - and I definitely want to come back and try another burger option. So why give a 4/5 stars? THE FRIES. We were told the fries were fried in beef tallow which piqued our interest. It was immediately apparent that the fries were above average in flavor. I don't think I could stop talking about them for like 4 days. Out of the two, I really liked the seal salt better, but the cajun were also great. I enjoyed how the cajun had plenty kick to it without being overpowering with spice coverage. Even more than the other burgers, I really want to try some chili cheese fries next time I visit. Though, I'm weary it might be trying to fix something that's not broken. The vibe of the restaurant was super chill, order at the counter, can/bottle drinks only, everything sold seperately. It's a little pricey overall, but again there's a lot of in-house ingredient preparation (meat cuts, sauces, etc.). Next time in the area I plan to check it out again and see if I can find a sandwich/burger that can match the flavor of the fries.
