Ok, I am Filipino - How did I never come here before?? I've seen there location on Amar but never went there. I ordered pork bbq, lumpia and Bibinka. Okaaaay... I've had my share of lumpia but stop the press! The lumpia is soooo crispy and delish - the highlight and drool worthy, absolute necessary side was there sweet & spicy dipping sauce. Omgaaaaash. It's so good. It's the right amount of sweet, spicy, and salty. I will crave this for days to come. The bbq pork is amazing too - it's all in the sauces! Drizzle that over some rice. Yum!!! Highly recommend this spot if you're new to Filipino food, or want some good home cooking! Try it now. That lumpiang Shanghai is fire tho - gotta have that sauce!!! 5 stars!!! Mabuhay!

Great simple rice bowls for a reasonable price. Long cook time though, so I would say a 15-20 min wait for food if you're just ordering there. We tried the salmon teriyaki special and chicken rice bowl. Both the teriyaki and chicken were well cooked, tender, with a nice grilled flavor. The tomato rice was a nice choice as well. Overall, its nothing special or over the top but I would still recommend trying this little spot out because the flavor and portion were pretty good. I only wish restaurants still had outdoor seating. Even if it was a table or two.

Quick and easy to order great for the price plenty of food the best were the pork skewers they were the best of everything we ordered nice and not overcooked the beef was a bit dry and weird the chicken was ok but was covered in sauce.... But really the skewers are the way to go..

Good service and friendly staff. From the time of order to receiving our food was really quick all the 7 plus times I've been here. The Diamond Bar restaurant has a smaller seating area but their menu has a wider selection. Would recommend any of the BBQ items like chicken and pork including the Salmon and collars when they have it. Pork BBQ skewers being my favorite.

Type of venue: Filipino BBQ Venue Access: Great; venue is adjacent to two major streets and plenty of parking in connected lot. Time of day good for: Lunch/Dinner Wait time: Came several times around noon with party of 1-2, usually less than 5 minutes to order and about 15-20 minutes for the food to be served since it's cooked fresh. Service: Good What was ordered: Chilean sea bass combo with watermelon juice Does it taste good: Yes; food was fresh and the sea bass was very tender (buttery smooth), the rice was seasoned well. Soup wasn't particularly flavorful but it was hot and paired well with the rice. Any grievance: No Price/Performance: Great; meals are priced very competitively with similar lunch spots in the area. Did I get a stomachache after eating here? No Would revisit? Yes Additional Notes: Venue interior seating is limited.

Pretty good grilled tuna and sea bass. The wait time is pretty long. If you are in a hurry, call ahead.

Yesssssss Tony's finally in Diamond Bar. Don't have to drive for an hour to West Covina get a great Tony's meal Recommend Bangus belly plate Lumpia Shanghai The fish plates are delicious Except a 15-20min wait for food like all Tony's places because the food is cooked to order. Be patient.

I go to a lot of Filipino spots and this hands down is one of the best. You must try their pork barbecue skewers! Rich in flavor and juicy! I wish I could eat here everyday, but I would get too fat. Anyway their West Covina location takes about 40 mins on busy days to finish the order, it took about 15-20. It's always worth the wait, just plan ahead of time. Great Filipino hospitality.

The trio Bowl! Made fresh they even told me it would take some time. Hot and steamy as you can see and bold tasty flavors
    Emad S.

Good food, kind people, fresh and hot, spacious seating. The trio bowl is a mix of beef, chicken, and veggies. Very satisfying and not too heavy if you don't use much sauce. Place is clean

Just spoke with the owner Tony and he recommended the chicken bowl... It was I N C R E D I B L E, me and my friend Matt will be back next Tuesday!

The Cucumber Salad is refreshing and balances out the meat-heavy lineup. The Roasted Fat Beef & Eggplant is unctuous and savory. We like the Golden Pot too for its bright and tangy broth. It even comes with free unlimited broth refills. The only downside? I wish they'd bring back the Durian Pizza! One thing that sets this place apart is the ordering system. If you're not big on interacting with staff, you'll appreciate the tablet - just tap what you want and it goes straight to the kitchen. Need anything else? There's a call button at the table. The service isn't really warm or chatty, but it's efficient and gets the job done. I'm always impressed by the interior's rustic charm. The ornate and festive decor looks warm and inviting, making this spot perfect for sharing plates, hanging out, and lingering conversations. Bonus: there's even karaoke for anyone ready to sing their heart out! The crowd loves to hoot and holler for those brave souls, no matter how in or out of tune they are. Nothing too fancy about the ambiance, it's just a solid, no frills spot to grab a good meal, which honestly works perfectly here. Definitely one of my go to KBBQ spots.

There's a hair in the water pitcher so we had to ask them to replace one. Ordering is on the tablet. It would time out after you order certain items and you have to wait to order more. It also locks out after 90 minutes for the whole meal. Just realized I didn't even bother to take pictures at this place. It's a no frill kbbq place. Barebones decor. She seemed irritated to assist us, was very cold while taking our name, and appeared visibly annoyed when my mom asked a couple of simple questions. TL;DR version: Visited on a Saturday about noon. Establishment is has very nice decor. The Premium menu selection is pricey but worth the money. Place is spacious, service is attentive, and has been deemed my new current fav KBBQ restaurant. Detailed version: Conveniently located off of Colima. lol (joking cause everything is off of Colima) But Thirsty Cow is surrounded by a lot of shops that have my interest. Costco, Costco Gas, Round1, other food spots, Frank and Sons...Target! Everything is around here. We've got done with our shopping and fun stuff and it was time for lunch. I thought I would be interesting to try out a new KKBQ spot. None of us have been and it was going to be a nice experience for everyone. Visited on a Saturday about noon Entering the establishment is a fairly large area greeted by a large logo of the restaurant and a bunch of soju bottles. To the right was a nice looking bar with some TVs and the way to the restroom. The waiting area had cold / hot water and popcorn which was nice. The rest of the restaurant was equally nice and very spacious. Party of 4 sat us in a booth with plenty of room for wiggling or possibly laying down. I always want to try the premium section of the menu. Decided to pay for lunch so we pretty much tried everything on the premium section. Our favorites were the Wagyu Delmonico Steak and the Thirsty Cow Black Angus Woodae Galbi. We were so impressed with the Premium selection that we forgot about the everything below it. Luckily there was a part 2 and during our second visit we were able to add some of the selection from the Choice portion into our meals. I think although Choice has some of my favs, the Premium section is where I will be eating during my visits. We did notice there were different types of salt provided and wanted to try them. The nieces loved the Rosemary Italian Black truffle seat salt. Lastly, I usually don't have room for dessert or care for it but since I am way too deep, might as well. Visiting Thirsty Cow has introduced me and the nieces to Melona bars and we've been hooked. Good job!! Parking: large private lot VERDICT: Rinse and repeat

I couldn't even hear the person across from me that I came with to eat dinner nor could I hear the server either. The restaurant was so excruciatingly loud that it genuinely caused bad ear pain and a headache so we left before ordering anything else besides water. Completely ruined the entire experience. And for reference I don't have any hearing problems and I'm in my 20s, so if I can't hear what the person directly next to me is saying then there's a problem here. It was so crowded and full of loud drunk people. Incredibly overwhelming. This place needs better max capacity laws in place or if they actually have them they're definitely not following them here. Also the inside set up is like a labyrinth. It's a confusing half open concept to the outside, half inside, and all very overstimulating. None of the staff seemed concerned at all with the hundreds of people overfilling the restaurant loudly speaking/yelling. This is unacceptable to be honest. I just wanted to come here to have a nice dinner after a long day at work and I couldn't. Beware of the noise especially if you have children or older people in your party; we didn't have either but I can't imagine how they'd feel in this chaotic environment. Btw, sitting outside won't change or help this fact either as it was also extremely overcrowded and nearly just as loud as well. 1/5 stars. Please manage your capacity better because it's driving customers away. This is supposed to be a nice restaurant not a club.
