The STAFF is very friendly and amazing! JUANA the manager is the best out of ALL the Waba grill that I have been to. ( I eat at any Wabas for lunch EVERYDAY so that must mean something ). Here they are not CHEAP with the servings. Oh my gosh! They feed you like it is THANKSGIVING! When I come out my stomach is full and satisfied! Some other places give you just bare minimum where you feel unsatisfied but not at this establishment. Day or night the staff is awesome! As a delivery driver, I want to share my experience picking up from this WaBa Grill location in hopes it helps improve the process for others. When I first walked in, I was greeted kindly by the cashier, which I appreciated. However, when the order was ready, someone else called it out -- unfortunately, I was briefly distracted and didn't hear it. As I approached the counter, a guest walked in, and the staff member who was packing the order immediately stopped what she was doing to help the guest. I understand wanting to provide good service to customers in-store, but from my point of view, the order looked ready. I politely asked, "Is it okay if I take it?" and she responded with a bit of attitude, saying she still needed to label it with the sticker she was holding. I asked, "And you couldn't do that before helping the guest?" Her tone quickly turned aggravated, and she told me to cancel the order if I didn't want to wait -- despite the fact I was already past the pickup time. I found her response unprofessional and disrespectful, especially considering drivers are here to help deliver their food quickly and efficiently. I ended up canceling the order and leaving due to how the situation was handled. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but the interaction left a bad impression and makes me hesitant to return for future pickups. read more

Is this the best food you'll ever have? Nah. Is it the okay-est food you've ever had that will leave you full for a decent price? Sure. I do love that they have a tofu dish, but the flavor is pretty lackluster. If you add a ton of soy sauce it becomes much more enjoyable. This location just started offering a vegan beef option and it was one of the worst faux meats I've ever had, I couldn't even finish it. The texture was very off and the flavor didn't help either. I'd hate for a meat eater to try that as their first vegan meat because they'd for sure never eat vegan again. Also, not sure if it's an ingredient they're using in the kitchen... or some fun going on in the back... but this place legit always smells like weed. The cashier tries to help me out, She couldn't figure it out and someone from the back came and said I owe money? I only give this place two stars because I like waba grill and the place was very clean and nice. However, I think we all know by now that eating the rice alone is very dry. I ordered a side of rice and asked for sauce on top and when i got my rice it was as if they applied droplets of sauce on top. This place is so stingy even when asking for extra sauce they hand me two packets. Once I even went and asked for hot sauce and they didn't even have any. I would be more than happy to pay 25 cents per packet like some waba grills do but why only hand me one sauce for a whole bowl. The food here at Waba is great, its similar to Yoshinoya but with more variety and better veggies. The salad is great and the plate combos are between $8-8.50. They were giving away a free soda when they first opened but now that has stopepd. I am a big fan of Teriyaki plates and Waba defintely has some good stuff. The service was atrocious. They forgot an item on my delivery, and when i called the woman on the phone said: "ah, i see...next time. Please hold", and she hung up. I called back and she continued to hang up...5x. I have never experienced such poor service in my life. This is the first time i ever leave a review for anything, but this kind of service is what kills a business. Being diabetic I have to watch my carbs (sugars) and this place has a banner outside that claims their food is low carb so I went in. I had the beef and chicken combo. The beef in the picture shows nicely grilled strips but what I got was over chopped (the guy with the cleaver minces the meat) black mush that was sitting in a metal tub on a steam table drowned in a sickenly sweet teriyaki sauce. The chicken was not mangled like the beef but was also drowned in the same sauce. Along with it was a fresh salad that also had a sugary citrus dressing. I complained to the girl at the counter that the banners said "low carb" she silently shrugged her shoulders and looked back at the guy pulverizing the beef strips. I went home to check my blood sugar and it was in the 400's!! That told me that I was right and the food is loaded with sugar. I complained to corporate, they sent a boilerplate "I'm sorry we did not live up to your expectations" BS email and said they would forward it to the Franchisee who would contact me. Well it has been a few months and I never heard from him/her. Beware, the food is not low carb, is loaded with sugar, and looks nothing like the photos on the menus. There is only two reasons why the kid pulverized the beef... it was very tough or the kid is a moron... I think it is both my self. Just another crummy fast food place that is only interested in getting your money. Also it is in the same building as a pot shop and stinks in there of weed, that is one of the reasons the KFC that was there before failed... only the stoners liked to go in there. read more
