Kids only eat free if they are present. It doesn't say that anywhere, but that's my experience. I think it says free after 4pm Monday to Friday and free all day Saturday and Sunday. Adriana refused to give me the two kids bowls with the purchase of the entrees. She claimed the kids had to be there,I wasn't going to argue. I paid for the order, submitted a question to their customer service asking if this was policy. Later that night, she calls me and tells me the policy is always changing, and I was entitled to the free bowls. She offers a free bowl and I tell her I don't want a free bowl, I want my money back for the two bowls. She agrees and I tell her I don't live near by, I won't be coming back soon. She tells me to give her a call so she can speak to whoever is working so they can give me the refund. Today I go in, the cashier tells me she's not in, she comes in later. I call her so she can let him know to refund me the money. She answers and proceeds to tell me that she can't give me the money back, she was later informed. She never called me back to explain or apologize, and she now claims that I should have called first, to see if she was working because she's the only one that can do anything. I asked for a number to speak with someone else, and she refused, she said she had to ask for permission. I like Waba, this location is not the one I normally go to, but her lack of customer service is a reason I will go out of my way to avoid this location. If the company has an offer, she has to comply, how does she have the right to make up how these things work. read more

I'm all for supporting small biz, but sometimes a special menu item will bring me into a chain. The Boom Boom tacos were on my radar so I visited the nearest Waba which happened to be this location. When I drove up I noticed one of the two front doors was covered in wood...I'm assuming because someone broke in. Which made me want to support this locarion even more. I needed 2 bowls, and 3 Boom Boom tacos, but when I said Boom Boom, the cashier looked at me strange and said she didn't understand. After repeating my order twice, she asked if I could speak Spanish (I am Spaniard btw, but I dont speak Spanish) I said no, and she called another worker to translate. I got my order in after that. Took it home and I absolutely loved those tacos! I hate dry tortillas, but these were moist and I didn't have to rush to finish them before going to the bowl next. So I deciphered the Boom Boom sauce as the taste of traditional sushi "spicy mayo" I originally thought the sauce was gonna be brown like teriyaki sauce, but this was better! So food was great but the experience? I mean, I get it if English isn't one's first language, but instead of repeating my order in an endless circle with no resolve, the first sign of trouble should of went directly to the next translator. There was also a man standing beside me at the counter, going to ask for more sauce, but the repeating forced him to wait through it. Felt bad but my hands were tied. Weird experience in the drive thru. The female worker face was covered with piercings and fake eyelashes. Not that it mattered; however, she looked as if she could barely stand up and keep her eyes open. I ordered a 10 piece Dumplings and a Diet Pepsi. She handed me my food but forgot the drink. After I informed her that I was missing the drink, she said "oh yea, what was it again?" While the window was open, I observed her fixing the drink. She could barely stand without closing her eyes. My drink was overflowing and when she handed me the cup, it was wet and filled to capacity leaking through the lid. The drink spilled into my car and on my pants. This Waba is the worst!!!! We come at least twice a week and every time we come to this store they are either out of something or get the order wrong! Last week they didn't have dressing and they got my brother in laws order wrong and today they said they have no white rice and no chicken!! I have given this store way too many chances and done. I have made complaints online and called corporate, and now giving them a bad yelp review. It's so sad because this Waba is new and close. Just opened! Good news is that it's reliable and you know what to expect. Not good is that they have a new staff and they are ultra confused with all the new combo and selections. I got the meal that includes the 22oz drink and chicken bowl but they also charged me 25 cents for an upgraded drink. No one could figure it out. What you'd expect from fast food. I took away one star because they told me I couldn't use my coupon....apparently since they are a franchise and not a corporate store they don't take the coupons.
