Just beyond annoyed. Last visit they screwed up my order (missed items and drinks for the order). The manager said she would comp me the meal and would have to wait for my order again. I said never mind and she offered a free happy meal. I came the following week and she forgot. Which I do not mind cause this place is busy. When it's good, it's great, when it's bad, it's absolutely terrible and almost makes me late to my next destination. I generally go here around their lunch rush, so I can kind of see where some of the issues come from. Honestly, even with the app, I feel like the best bet is to just pick up your food from the inside. Although the drive thru may have 2 order windows, the merge in to pay and pick up your food creates a mess and I have seen the line go all the way out into the main road. I just recently saw that they have curbside pick up back again, but after 20 minutes I just had to walk in and pick up my order because it said that it was fulfilled but nothing was delivered to me. Just another hiccup during the rush? A bit annoying to be honest since my food was just kinda sitting there while I was waiting outside the entire time... I've had mixed quality with the fountain drinks, both from the drive thru when someone else gets it for me and when I get it myself in a sense that it is usually slightly flatter and not as cold as I would like it to be. I recommend having the app because otherwise it's hard to get a person to take your order. The restaurant itself looked pretty clean, but there were a couple of tables that still had order numbers on them and were not cleared off. I'm not one to get on Yelp and tattle on businesses. I usually reserve my reviews for what a business does well, however. The service. Is barely worth one star. Ever since the remodel, they put up a wall so that you cannot make eye contact with any employee, which I'm going to assume was planned because they don't even have an employee at the cash register. They're trying to force you to use the kiosk. If you plan to pay cash, you will wait there for quite a while, and if anyone does show their face, they will quickly disappear without saying a word, even though they make eye contact and they know damn well you want to ask them something. It is not until the designated person, yes, singular, gets done doing whatever they're doing in the back and then they can help you at the register. In other words, they're trying to dissuade people from paying cash so they can spend less cash on the employee who might interact with the public. If something goes wrong at the kiosk and you push the button for assistance, nobody comes out. And if one does come out there real quick, they look at you and walk away and will only say something if you basically yell at them, and even then they keep walking. One guy jumped in the middle of the walkway, so the person had to verbally interact with him. That's what it takes at McDonald's these days, and it's the same at any newly remodeled, McDonald's. I can kind of see why, though. They set up their businesses that way because the generation coming up lacks social skills beyond their own age group. The food is, as you know it, McDonald's style, mostly done in the microwave these days. I wonder how bad things will have to get, namely, the way a business interacts with the public, before they start making roads back to the old way. Maybe they never will, but while we're on the road to see how bad things can get, McDonald's is leading the way. As for McDonald's, they could save time and money training their employees. I've worked in fast food before and understand that it may be hectic, but under no circumstance is ignoring and neglecting your customers acceptable. As I was waiting for my order, I thought heard my order number but was not able to hear them clearly over loud voices, and their masks don't help either. I approached the counter and asked an associate if they called my order, as she was the only one calling them out, she rolled her eyes and walked away without saying a word. She then proceeds to standby for a few minutes while doing nothing until another associate sees me and helps me. I understand people may have bad days and it is the morning, but because of someone's lack of professionalism and poor attitude, I received cold food and items missing from my order.
