Stopped by Mobar Coffee and really enjoyed their creative drink menu. The banana matcha coffee was fun and unique, with a noticeable banana flavor that made it feel playful and different from the usual matcha drinks you see everywhere. The horchata latte was a standout -- smooth, comforting, and nicely balanced with just the right amount of cinnamon sweetness. I also tried the almond croissant, which was flaky and satisfying, making it a solid pastry to pair with the drinks. Overall, Mobar Coffee is a great spot if you're looking for inventive flavors and something a little outside the box. I'd definitely come back to try more of their specialty drinks. read more

Oh my goodness. Starbucks who??? I may have found my new FAVORITE coffee spot. I have been on a quest to try different coffee spots in my surrounding areas, but this spot may bring me to a halt (lol). I didn't realize this little spot was here until a few weeks ago that my husband and I stopped by the brewery (after many times) to watch a game and have a few drinks. That's when we noticed the coffee bar. Service was friendly and they do have a good selection to choose from. I stopped on a Friday morning for fuel (coffee) before running errands, and went with the strawberry horchata cold foam. I was pleasantly surprised. It was perfect and not overly sweet. I also got a pistachio crescent, warm, and was delicious. I stopped by the following morning, and went with the pumpkin spice chai latte, which was perfect! And pistachio crescent to share with my son, which he ended up taking, despite him not having a sweet tooth for baked goodies like I do. Highly recommend this little spot!! read more

We stopped in on a random weekday. We ordered a couple of pastries and a drink. The employee working was super nice and offered a few menu suggestions as well, which was appreciated. The drink was made to order. The drink itself was weak and the pastries were just okay, which is why I deducted one star. I would come here again, but might try their actual coffee and hope it's better than the pumpkin chai drink I ordered. Overall it's still a good choice with a good setup and I wouldn't hesitate to come here again. Service was awesome! read more

I stumbled across this mobile coffee bar during my run so I had to stop by. I ordered their horchata protein shake that comes with their horchata powered, protein powder and choice of milk. I give it a solid 8/10. I want to return to try their coffee and pasties next and will update. They were polite to the customers unlike the person next to them selling breakfast. First impression: oh it's a cute little coffee cart inside a brewery place. The down side of this place is, you do have to find parking, street parking or at the back, not sure if people are allowed to park there for this location but it was packed. So we managed to find a parking spot on the street. We got there and we greeted and wondered what they had. Cashier seemed shy till he managed to warm up to us I suppose. He was then helpful. Coffees were good and got myself a pastry. It was ok. The Brewery was closed till the evening so we enjoyed our coffees at the table. They also had board games. My todd was enjoying his time there while we had our wake up coffee moment. read more

Mobar was okay. I had a chipotle chicken burrito and iced latte. Total was $16. The burrito was okay. It didn't taste much like chipotle. The chicken itself had decent cuts of chicken breast. I thought putting lettuce in the burrito was weird bc the heat of the burrito wilted the lettuce and made it limpy and created an offputting texture in the burrito. I did appreciate it was cheesy! The latte was good. I just got a regular with classic sweetener. They're not really there for food, more for like coffee and pastry. For coffee I think I would visit again. read more

I found this place by accident driving home. It is inside the brewery - so don't blink or you'll miss it. Parking is not great - there is street parking in front, but it's usually full so there is a lot behind it - but it is a shared lot and it gets packed. The coffee was very good. My husband LOVED the Spanish Latte and blueberry muffin. I had an horchatta latte with almond milk and it was very good, albeit a lil too sweet for me. I believe the barista said that they make their own syrup. I'll ask for less sweet next time. It's a cute spot in Pico - across from Tommy's and behind La Mano (hence the difficulty in finding a parking spot). read more

Come for the coffee on Sunday and stay for the amazing breakfast burrito. I got the uptown breakfast burrito and they add an oil chili in it that's surprisingly makes the burrito delicious. If you do not like spies have them serve it on the side or omit the oil chili. Their breakfast burritos are just another level of goodness. Highly recommend it. It was my first time here and I live out of the area, but I would definitely drive here just for the burritos. It's like a little pop-up inside of the brewery. Super cute highly recommended. I had been trying a different coffee place everyday because why not. The location itself is super cute and I love that it's a small mom and pop type vibe. The workers were very welcoming and friendly and gave me information about service drinks. They definitely have the customer service down to a science. I was a bit underwhelmed by the flavor to my coffee. I love the flavored sugary coffees you find in drinks like caramel Macchiatos, mochas, etc. I didn't get that in my drink and was a bit sad it wasn't a par with the drinks I've been trying elsewhere. Dropped in after looking for a coffee place nearby and realized Mobar was in the neighborhood now so we decided to give them a try. My cousin is a coffee head from out of state and was looking to try something in the hood. We ordered a cafe de olla latte and a horchata latte. Took a while to get our order out to us but we were patient with the service. The drinks were mediocre my cafe de olla latte lacked flavor and my cousins was lacking the horchata flavor. Would we have Mopar again, probably. But not from the same location. I'd give them a chance to better themselves since it looks like a pop up location. Ambiance was laid back, parking was alittle bit of a struggle due to the apartments across the street. Pastries looked delicious but we were on our way to breakfast. read more

I've tried the iced Cafe de Olla latte, the hot horchata latte, and their ham and cheese croissant. The iced latte was good but nothing special, I still prefer the same cafe de olla latte from another spot nearby (Mugs) . I believe the hot one was better, its become my go to when I visit Mobar. The ham and cheese croissant is a must try if you visit this place, it's so delicious! They usually only have one person working and it does get busy sometimes (mainly on weekends) so if you're on a time crutch I'd maybe go elsewhere. I only discovered this place a few days ago, but I've had a drink from this cafe everyday since. The Toffee Mocha is my favorite so far! I have also tried the Café de Olla cold brew, which is great as well. The owner and staff are so welcoming. The shop itself is a nice place to study.
