This is showing I ordered cheese sticks
    Jason V.

So, let me start off with 2 things, the people who run this place are very nice, and it's not getting a 3 because the service or the food. The food is probably a 4. But let me tell you why I'm giving it a 3. You how when you're craving something, and you want to order it but its not available, or you do get it, but it doesn't live up to your expectations? Well in this case, I was craving cheese sticks (mozzarella sticks). So along with my 2 pizzas and wings, I also ordered 2 orders of Mozzarella sticks. (On the menu they are listed as cheese sticks) So I get there, pick up the food, and then check the bag. There's no cheese sticks. Instead, there are 2 pieces of cheese CAKE . So, we go back, they are very nice about it, and tell us to give them 10 minutes so they can make the cheese sticks. (They let us keep the cheesecake). So we get the 2 small pizza boxes, and I'm thinking ok thats weird, I've never seen cheese sticks come in pizza boxes, so I check. They've given us 2 boxes of cheese BREAD. Now, on their website, they have Garlic Cheese Sticks, which is the bread, and they have another listing for cheese sticks which say deep fried, which is what I wanted. For some reason they are the same price and have the same name. But nevertheless, I didn't get my mozzarella sticks. So with all that being said, the food was good. Especially for the price. You get a lot of good food for your money. Everything else was made correctly, piping hot, and fresh. So I'll definitely be giving this place another chance.

I've worked by this place for years and finally decided to try it. I called in the order so eliminate the wait time. Food was warm and ready when we got there. Food was delicious, and looked better in person. I don't think the pictures do this place justice. Pastor pizza 5/5 Pastrami pizza 5/5 Potatoes 5/5 Wings 4/5 , I prefer my wings crispy

Very well priced for quality of food . Overall very good pizza i also ordered a regular pepperoni. Ordered this over the phone and was ready as soon as i arrived . I will definitely coming back.

    Party pizza

I ordered a party pizza and was not disappointed. It was 4 flavors, very good and very friendly staff.

First time here. Ordered a small pizza, it was delicious and price was reasonable . The cashier was friendly. When I asked for plates he was quick to ask how many I needed. There's not too much space to eat and sit down but it's nice and clean. Will be coming back to try their other pizzas .

It's what we come for when we were living out of Cali my family and I now that we're back we can't help it but to make a quick stop and have a good brunch. Customer service is always great they're very friendly and are always looking out for if you need anything else with your meal, it's a chill vibe nothing crazy going on you can watch tv and enjoy your meal.

I ended up ordering here on 1/16/2022 after my order with Pizza Hut would have came out to $50 for a only 3 items! NOT including delivery. Anyways we got the family #1 meal and it consisted of a large 2 topping pizza, 10pc wings, a lb of potato wedges AAAAAND a 2 liter coke WITH deliver was a total of $35.05!!! Pros: Awesome and prompt service! -Pizza had good amount of cheese and toppings! -Pizza did NOT have a ton of pizza sauce (that could be either a good or bad thing depending on your preference so keep that in mind when ordering!) -wings had really good flavor! -food was hot -price -They accept most payment options (no EBT for my folks out there ) CONS: - I asked for my pizza extra crispy or well done and it wasn't. I like really crispy pizza lol -potato wedges could have been crispier -wings could have been way crispier as well Give this place a try it was good and it sure beats the larger pizza chains out here!

Solid pizza. The toppings are even and nicely placed. They have a couple unique items like Birria and Al pastor. The crust is a little chewy and crisp. Sauce is not overpowering. A fantastic pizza! I never thought I'd like the Al pastor one but I did. It does have pineapple on it and from someone who doesn't like pineapple on pizza it actually works here since traditionally the meat has a little pineapple chunks in it give it a try.

The sambal chili aioli was a sleeper - it packed in a ton of unexpected spice. Deliciously unexpected. The thick toasted brioche bun also added a layer of sweetness. We ordered the turkey BLT because it was a special. It was, of course, delish, but I should have kept to the tried and trues. I'll definitely be back. Also PSA and order your sandwiches for pickup. We waited for quite a bit in the heat even though we visited at an off hour (on a Sunday). Also, there's a nearby park closer to Uptown you can enjoy your sandwiches.

Keep in mind I ordered around 12:50pm and the sandwich was ready at 1:45pm. I ordered the Spicy Gabagool Sandwich, and there were barely any mixed greens as compared to other reviews & the menu photo (I love my veggies)! The meats were yummy, but they did not stand out to me/didn't taste anything special. Unfortunately, the same goes for the bread. However, I did like the packaging of the sandwich and everything in the sandwich tasted well together; the chile spread, burrata, hot honey, pickled onions, meats.. the spice level is definitely tolerable; I didn't need water at all. It was more of a small kick. I also tried their lemon crumb bar and it was very delicious! If anything I would come again to try more of their unique baked goods. Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance of the shop. It is quite small and there are many people waiting for their order inside. There is only outdoor seating, which is scarce.

It is good. It is the same price at the beef version but understandly so. The chicken meat was grilled tenderly, and the slice of ham it came with added the saltynesss the sandwich needed. Simple but effective. Also chilies adds great flavor too. You can ask for it on the side to adjust spiciness to your preference. Capicollo, one of the cold sandwich, was fine but nothing to write home about. Atlas or wings ($11.99/lb) here remind me of the ones I used to get when I was younger... I like how the spicy version is still deed fried and not saucy. (Personally prefer dry rubs.) The heat can creep up to u after a few. But not all wings are created equally, might end with with some tiny more battered ones along with regulars. Wait times can be longer during lunch times - waited 30 min for takeout during weekday lunch hour.

There's already food that is fried and ready to go when you come up to the counter apparently there's a process that it's lost on me. So I just went my own way and got in line, picked what I wanted and then paid, found a table that is first-come-first-served basis. Easy peasey. Got some cheese empanadas, chicken wings & French fries. What do that to me was the cheese and vanilla, very cheesy and savory! The fries on the other hand felt like that they were sitting there a bit, and I love fries so these kinda were a meh for me. The other sandwiches have a soft and creamy scrambled egg. The ingredients went so well together and was quite filling. I ate half for breakfast and the other half for lunch. What a good deal when one meal turns out to be two servings. It was egg-cellent! The Royal sando is more of a "lunch" item, I don't usually eat Sriracha and Pickles in the morning. For my next morning visit, I will stick with the usual Bacon, Scrambled Egg, Cheese and Avocado Breakfast Sandwich or Burrito. I definitely will be back to try more of their menu creations! Street parking may be available though. It's a small sandwich shop with a few tables/chairs outside and limited table and bar stool seating inside. What I find oddly interesting are the dried up plants at one corner of the wall. Not sure if they just wanted to put something there to take up space... at least have lively plants. They were super busy. Gentleman staff was okay. Menu is limited to sandwiches and cold/hot drinks. They also sell snacks and other dry goods on the side. Strangely enough, a couple customers who ordered after me got their orders before me. I had to walk up to the counter to inquiry about my order. The gentleman immediately handed my order to me without calling my number. My order was just sitting on the counter. Hmmm? Hence, 4 stars. Coffee was quite strong, but good...very authentic stuff! Banh mi were out of this world delicious! They took it to a whole different level. It was the lemongrass flavor that made it golden. Bread was light and crispy. Tons of meat with fresh veggies. So Fresh & Delicious!…read more I tried C&R Fresh Foods for the first time a week ago. I did some research on Yelp to see the menu and recommended options. I was craving a wrap so why not come give em a try. The parking lot has plenty of spaces as it located on the long strip mall in this part of West Covina. The location is pretty chill and quiet outside of the TV playing soccer. The staff who took my order was friendly and allowed me to try sample some smoothies. Especially, I love the cannoli, Italian sandwiches made fresh to order with sliced meats and cheeses, and the fun little ingredients sprinkled throughout the market. coming here as a kid, I used to love how they had straw on the ground. The big old hunk of cheese hanging from the ceiling. The smells, the sites, and the friendly faces I'd see, offering me treats. I feel like the best cannoli I've ever had is here. I've been all over for cannolis, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, etc. but no one really does it like they do it here! The ricotta is creamy with chocolate chips and candied fruit, and the edges are lined with nuts . Sprinkled with a perfect amount of powdered sugar, it's so delightful with the crunchy shell. My dad likes to order the sfogtitelle, pronounced soy uh della. Kind of funny spelling, huh? It's a pastry layered with semolina flour (aka pasta flour) and stuffed with a citrus cream custard. That's good here as well, they also sell it frozen so you can bake it at home. Always a must to grab a sandwich here. They cut the deli meat and cheese right in front of you. There's a wide selection of meats and cheeses to choose from. If you like more of the spicy stuff, I would suggest salami's like the hot Calabrese, hot soppresata, and chorizo. The Italian ham is good as well, mortadella and capacolo. I always also have Cajun turkey in the sandwich. Lots of good cheeses to choose from, Havarti is nice and creamy, provolone has a nice tangy taste, pepper Jack has a little kick, and Swiss a funny little taste. They let you sample the meats and cheeses so you can figure it out for yourself too haha. Always pay extra for the roasted red peppers in the sandwich, it's worth it trust me. me and my friends also love to get the deli meats and cheeses for a charcuterie boards. It's a good deal, cheaper than what you would pay in a market for incredibly fresh meat. They sometimes even give you an airtight container to keep it super fresh. Grocery shopping here for specialty items is great as well. In the freezer section, they have an incredible fresh pesto, but they also have a lot of canned sauces as well. The blood orange juice is nice. My family always gets the Italian sausages by the pound in the big old bag to make sausages with tomato sauce. I've been going here since I was a kid, and I'm happy to see it still thriving. There is truly no other place like this in the San Gabriel Valley, I wish I still lived close to here, but I guess it makes it even more special when I'm around.
