We came in here on a Sunday at around 12pm, the place had no customers, we were seated immediately then greated by our server. However, we were a party of 5 and the booths were a little too small. As we were looking at the menu, all the prices have seemed to go up drastically since our last visit. The smell of the restaurant was off, smelled like a restaurant that would be infested by some type of pest, the place smelled dirty. I'm not sure if they got a new owner or they just like to change the name of their restaurant. We love the pizza at AWSOM. We have eaten there before, but this time we did pick up and took it back to our hotel. It was great and still warm when we got to our room. Their prices are super reasonable. We got a 16 inch pie for $40.00. The crust is great and the toppings are fresh and they have a good selection. The service is just so nice, whether you dine there or pick it up. They also have delivery. Parking is easy and free. Their AWSOM Famous Cheeseballs are great. They are real mozzarella cheese wrapped in an artisan dough, fried golden and tossed in house garlic sauce. They are different and you will love them. We also love their Chili Cheese Fries which are drenched with all beef chili and loaded with shredded cheddar cheese. They also have fresh chopped green onions on top. The booth was comfy, plenty of TVs, and it has that cozy, small spot feel without sacrificing quality. Menu is pretty big, which I usually take as a red flag, but everything we tried felt dialed in. The drinks were really good too. We started with the cheeseballs and that was the move. Perfect appetizer if you're about to go in on heavier food. Came here on a whim. Craving pizza and wings so decided to stop by. Went during happy hour. (3-6) it's a chill slow Monday. Sat down immediately. Place is small and narrow. Ordered the 10inch pizza hot wings, lemon pepper fries and calamari. The fries were so good. They had the perfect crisp. My favorite out of all the food. Pizza was good and portions were decent. I came in for the first time this past Wednesday, and lucky for me it was Wing Wednesday, and so every bone-in wing was $1. Upon arriving, we were seated promptly and had our orders taken shortly after. Within an hour of arriving at 5 o clock, the restaurant began seeing more foot traffic, though that didn't affect the service much, if at all. Given the wing special that day, we decided to try various flavors, all of which were pretty good - no complaints. Not pictured, we also tried lemon pepper and garlic parmesan, which happened to be my favorite. It doesn't hurt that the ranch is pretty killer as well. Aside from the wings being pretty small, I thought the fries, could've been a little better, as they reminded me of Burger King. Don't ever order from this place. The wings are good but only if you get them. My poor husband is missing the superbowl after we ordered on Thursday for pre-order. We were scheduled to pick up at 3pm before superbowl so that we would not miss anything. My husband has been waiting since 3pm for our "preorder". It is now 20 minutes to 5 and he is still waiting. I came in, sat down, asked some questions and left. I have always loved their ranch dip because it's creamy and full of dill leaves. I loved having the carrots and ranch. I went in for that order. A sign outside that said, "Awsome Wings" was covering "Alondra's Hot Wings." I thought, oh, they must have been bought out. I walking in and the place looked pretty much the same. A waiter took me to a table. I asked him if it was no Longer called Alondra's. He said yea it is. I'm like ... okay... I noticed the menu looked very different. Same items, but menu design was completely different. I asked if they still had the ranch with dill in it. He looked at me very confused. He said, "nooo there's no dill in the ranch." I thought, maybe he doesn't know what dill is. I explained they're tiny green leaves and you can see them in the ranch. He said noooo. Then I asked, okay, well, how about celery and carrots? You dip them in the ranch. He said, "We don't have celery." At this point, I'm thinking they've removed the ranch since the place appears to be a different restaurant now. At that point I'm convinced the server isn't very bright. He seemed very confused and didn't seem confident with his answers to me. I asked him how long he's been working there. He replied, "Oh, I've only been here a little over a year. So, idk about everything." -_- He's "only" been there for a year and can't answer if they're under new management, or what ingredients are in the food? At that point, I was very annoyed. This guy had zero insight into his own work. Instead of saying, "let me find out", he just kept a confused look on his face and gave vague, uncertain responses. He clearly had no clue what I, or he was talking about. I said, "Well, I stopped by for that ranch and carrots. It seems that isn't here anymore, so I'm going to go." He said okay cool. I got up and peered at what the other diners were having. On two tables, carrots with ranch WITH the dill in it. I couldn't believe it. What a waste of time. I kept walking because I was irritated and the carrots on those plates looked dehydrated and dusty white . Management: please train your employees. We ordered the16 x 16. Which is 16 inch pepperoni and sausage pizza with 16 wings, 8 atomic & 8 mild. The pizza was cooked crispy just the way we like it. The atomic wings have a real good spicy kick to them for appetizers we had the cheese balls & chile cheese fries the grandkids really enjoyed them I had the pastrami it was a little over cooked. This is the last time I will return to Awsom... My boyfriend and I have been customers ever since it was Alondra's we used to love their ranch burgers chicken tenders ( I don't remember what they were called but I believe the Nashville hot tenders on the appetizer page) and their wings I don't know what happened but I'm assuming Awsom bought Alondra's and that's when the the food changed for the worse the Nashville tenders were removed from the appetizer menu if you order tenders now they are frozen prepackaged and small the OG tenders were delicious and probably about an inch thick the ranch is different it used to have fresh dill but not anymore and it does taste different my boyfriend got wings the first time we went to Alondra's they were tender and the seasoning was pretty good Awsoms wings are small and dry with a weak flavor the last good thing that was on the menu in my opinion was the Awsom hot chicken sandwich (it was also on Alondra's menu the whole menu was theirs actually) unfortunately after getting that sandwich today I won't be returning it was massacred the chicken was so thin and drenched in oil I understand that the style of these sandwiches are oily but since there was no chicken it was so heavy the bread was thick tho and cut oddly I'm sad we spent 40 dollars on chicken sandwiches and they were terrible it sucks this place used to be our spot and over the span of three years the quality has plummeted...
