Excellent Pho!! The flavors in the broth are so rich and flavorful, you can tell they put a lot of hours of love into their Pho. Would 100% recommend!! read more

What a let down. Tastes like instant pho & the banh mi is something any American would attempt to make in their kitchen without ever trying an authentic one. To add insult to injury, this is the most expensive bowl of pho I've ever had and it was the smallest portion. I've lived in LA, NYC, Houston and more... I hate that my suspicions were correct. It's nothing more than brand hype. Won't return. read more

My sis and I came here with high hopes yesterday afternoon. We both ordered exactly the same thing - the Noodle Bowl with lemongrass chicken and an avocado shake. To start, the shake is $4.95 for just a cup of it. My sister drank half of hers and quit. I drank just two sips of mine before abandoning it. It was creamy, sure, but not sweet and tasted like nothing but creamed avocado. Plus, it was just barely cold (which was abhorrent). I've had an avocado shake before that was delicious. This was not it. Now, about the noodle bowl. Noodles were overcooked (so, more like slimy), and the chicken seemed undercooked (I checked, it wasn't, just tasted that way). I ate mine, but my sister abandoned hers. The portions were not great for the price and the bowl was mostly just noodles with a few sprinklings of lettuce, cucumbers and carrots with that weird chicken. Neither of us finished our full bowl. The outdoor seating area was large and pleasant and the indoors smelled amazing. Too bad that smell didn't mean much. read more

Consistently delish food. I'm particularly partial to their pho (made with 12 hour bone broth) and their bánh mì. 10/10 love this place.

Food was delicious, service was friendly and fast. Clean, bright and comfortable. I look forward to trying more items. I ordered noodle bowl with beef. read more

We were starving and really craving some pho and decided to stop by this restaurant. The pho was alright, but it probably tasted better because I was so hungry. The broth wasn't as flavourful as some of the more authentic Vietnamese restaurants in the area, and there wasn't a lot of meat or other toppings. The restaurant itself is small so there isnt a lot of seating, especially during busy hours and the parking lot is even smaller. It seems to be more of a grab and go kind of restaurant. The food is ok if you're in a pinch and not looking to drive somewhere else, but there are definitely better and more authentic places for pho in Nashville. read more

It was probably the worst pho I've had in my life. I wasn't expecting much since I was in Nashville, but it was truly so bland. No amount of hoisin sauce could fix the flavor, and they didn't give much broth either. The store itself was really cute, but I would never come back. read more

The pork belly bao buns are a must!!! The way they marinade, season and cook the pork belly is extremely delicious! My husband and I agree this is on our top 3 pork buns we have had, mainly because of the pork belly. The original pho was very flavorful without any additions to the broth. The summer rolls were really good, nothing special, but still very delicious. read more

Visited Vui's Kitchen in Berry Hill today for lunch and the food was incredible. I am a huge fan of Vietnamese cuisine and love how they incorporate so many different spices, sauces, and flavors into a dish. For an appetizer we selected Pork Belly Bao Buns and my tastebuds went wild...probably one of the absolute BEST buns I have ever tasted!!! The Beef Pho had subtle flavors and the broth was perfect, something you could do a cup of on a cold winter's day (they also sell broth alone). The meats, noodles, vegetables, and spices were balanced making for an incredible bowl of Pho. If there is one item you need to try here after the Pork Belly Bao Buns is the Pork Belly Banh Mi sandwich. I wasn't very hungry and when the sandwich was delivered I thought I would take half home for later. One bite, and I knew there was no way this sandwich was going to make it to my house. The pork belly was so tender it almost melted but the combination of all the vegetables and seasonings made this probably the best Banh Min sandwich I have ever had. All aspect of the sandwich, including a crispy on the outside and soft on the inside French baguette really completed the sandwich. The service was fast and efficient and we were able to enjoy lunch on their outside patio. They have other locations, so seek them out and you will be rewarded with some exceptional Vietnamese delicacies! read more

Strangest pho experience I've had. I ordered the veggie pho and the bowl was mostly filled with mushrooms. There weren't any other veggies. The pho comes pre dressed with basil and bean sprouts. My kids had chicken pho and they ate some of it. Their pho also included the basil and bean sprouts already in their soup. I also ordered the fresh spring rolls and the sauce was very sweet, maybe it was hoisin sauce or American BBQ sauce. My husband ordered a sandwich. The sandwich was on a hoagie roll. The meat in the sandwich was American BBQ style. I was expecting to eat Vietnamese food when we visited but I would describe their food as American. read more

The environment is great, but the beef pho was not my favorite. I felt like it lacked flavor, and it lost heat very quickly.

Vui's Kitchen is one of the restaurants that you always hear about or even drive by all the time, yet never actually make it into. I finally took the plunge when some colleagues and I met up for a Friday lunch. We went to the Bransford Avenue location. They've taken over the space that used to be an odds and ends gift shop with a spaceship in the front yard. That being said, it's easy to find. They do have a parking lot, but it is small. You end up parking in the lot attached to a building next door. You intentionally block people in by doing this. I ended up pulling to the side in a parallel type space. It was an odd parking experience. You order your food at the counter from a menu board to the left. You have the option to order a to go meal or take a seat to have the food brought to you. It's a good sign when you can't decide what to get because it all sounds good. I ended up being unable to resist the pork belly combo of the Pork Belly Bao Bun and Banh Mi Sandwich with pork belly. I'm a massive fan of pork belly in general, so this opportunity did it for me. The bao and sandwich were both absolutely delicious. The tables were so close together in such a small space that navigating between them was a bit problematic. But clearly, I made it out alive. read more

I stopped by early on a Thursday and was surprised at how busy it looked. All the tables outside were taken and so were most of the ones inside. Parking was also a slight nightmare since the lot is so cramped. I wasn't too hungry so I just ordered the summer rolls. I know I didn't order much food but the service was SUPER fast. I had just found a spot to sit down at at one of their outdoor picnic tables when the server brought me my food. The rolls were good - they didn't fall apart and the peanut sauce was the perfect pair (not spicy at all). I hope to be back soon to try one of their bowls and possibly test out the avocado shake. read more

We were in a hurry and needed a quick and satisfying meal. We sat outside in the garden, sucked on a root beer, and we were served a salad along with a good-sized chunk of pork belly. It was a fantastic meal. Fast, fresh, crispy and served with a sauce that was unbelievably good. For a quick, low-priced lunch, this is a great restaurant. read more

Paid almost 15 dollars for a "large pho" Got it home to find a small container of broth. The 2nd container had merely a few ounces of shredded dry chicken with the rest of the accompaniments. The pho was delicious! Credit due! But the portion was unfair for the money and will leave you unsatisfied unless you are a young child. Cutting costs at the expense of your customer and your product is not a path to success. No matter how much profit you make. You lose. And I'm still hungry. read more

I ordered the pho ga. Whatever that was, was NOT pho ga. There was barely enough broth to cover the noodles. Super stingy. Also, the noodles were VERY over cooked. They broke when I tried to pick them up with my chopsticks. The broth was more of a chicken noodle soup base than a pho broth. Very Americanized. I see this place has good reviews. So, maybe this experience was just a one off? Idk, but I'm new to Nashville and I am really hoping this is not the bar set for Vietnamese food here. Very disappointed. read more

I have eaten here many times. It's time for a real Yelp review of this place! This place is great. Apparently, I keep coming back. It is lunch counter style service, you order inside, and on nice days you can eat outside. There is nice inside dining room too!! Today was an especially beautiful day, so the outside area was much appreciated! Today for lunch was Pork Belly Bao, Shrimp Summer Rolls, and Vui's Bone broth Pho. All were delicious! If I could rate this place less stars I would. By far the worst restaurant in Nashville. The atrocities they serve should not be qualified as food. The "pho" was overpriced, devoid of flavor, and simply awful; colors of that spectrum belong in a toilet bowl. Not only was this "soup" bland and lacking in everything, to get any sort of meat will require you to take a mortgage and drain your 401k. It costs extra to get one measly slice of meat? This is daylight robbery entangled with I would call a macro aggression. Being allowed to call their bowl of excrement Vietnamese Pho is a blatant massacre of the Vietnamese culture and food. If you're craving pho this is not the place to go, instead I suggest Pho T&N or Pho Ann, any pho place in West Nashville is far superior to this garbage. The fact they have multiple locations is a crime in it of itself. Your money would be better spent on a can of Chef Boyardee, and you will have felt much more satiated. To reiterate, run, drive, fly, walk, do whatever you can do get away from this place, the food is by far and away the worst thing you could ever consume in Nashville. read more

Vui's used to be one of the best places to eat in Nashville. Portions were great, tasted great. Now they've shrunk their portions, increased the prices and it's a shame. So I actually stumbled across this place by accident and I am so glad I did! The pho... has me in a chokehold!! I've tried Pho previously on two other occasions as it did not hit like this place! So delicious!! Even better that it is vegetarian friendly! The broth is so tasteful!! With a hint of Sriracha sauce, and whatever the brown sauce they serve is called... it is *chefs kiss*. If you are able to, I would suggest dinning there. The portion size seemed a little bit bigger verses taking it to-go. They have the cutest outdoor area that is perfect for when the weather is beautiful! I wouldn't consider myself a big Pho lover before.... But now, I am! Oh! You must try their cookies as well! I have gotten a Banh Mi sandwich here before and thought it was great. IT's been a while. Not sure what has changed but it seems the bread has, but I may be wrong. A real Banh mi is on French bread. This was not french bread. For the price you think it would be. For less than half the price you can go the Asian market on the corner of Nolensville and Polk and get one on French Bread that is awesome. In addition, it was greasy. Very greasy. First and foremost I just want to say I love coming here for lunch. All the great fresh options at a fair price. However......today was different. I put in my online order for my lunch and in my head I marked it for 11.15 and on the website I picked the pick up time of 11.30am. I arrive at 11.05. I am standing there waiting...and the young lady asked me have I ordered and I said yes online. She asked my name ...I gave it to her and I hear talking in the kitchen...first thing I think is that placed my order at another store by mistake. Another young lady walks up to me and says you place your order for 11.30 am and I said oh that is fine I can wait. She hurry's on back and they get my lunch order out quickly. That is customer service....that is treating your customers like family. She could have said we will try to get to your order as soon as possible but you might have to wait 10 mins and I have have been 100% fine with that. It was my bone head mistake. have you seen Vui's during lunch... it gets packed fast. I just want to say thank you to the entire staff. Thank you for treating all of your customers so kindly. read more

Tasty pho and other Vietnamese classics! While the meat was super tender, I thought the pork belly bao were too heavy on the sauce, which weighted down the buns and made everything oily. The original pho was flavorful, but the broth was a little on the sweet side for my taste. The sprinkling of fried shallots on top, while a little untraditional, was a nice touch. read more

SUMMARY. Came here with my girlfriend for dinner. Was very impressed. Quality of food was very good, and the ambience was quick and casual. Also, because it's Hunters Station, we were able to get our food and eat at the bar while watching football. Could not have been more pleased. RESERVATION. We walked in without issue @ 8pm on a Saturday. I doubt they even take reservations, as Hunters Station is a food court. AMBIENCE. Ambience is super casual, befitting food court style eating. We got our meal and then ate at the bar and watched some football. Very chill setting. LOCATION. Located in East. Up until now, I had driven by Hunters Station a ton and never made it inside. Parking was surprisingly easy on the street given it was a Saturday evening. That being said, it was raining. The place was also pretty empty, despite only a few available parking spots, so I imagine parking can be an issue during peak hours. QUALITY. The quality was excellent. VERY good food. I got a double pork belly original pho and my girlfriend and I split a side of pork belly baos. All were delicious. The quantity should also not be ignored: the bowls are big! SERVICE. Service was great! The woman who helped us was super nice and helpful, and the food did not take long to come out. Everyone was so friendly! VALUE. I felt the value was good. We spent ~$48 all-in after tax and tip for 2 original phos, 1 double meat, and 1 order of baos. At first I thought it was a bit pricey given the casual nature of the establishment, but once I tasted the food and saw how much they gave us, I knew it was a good deal. I stuffed myself on half of the bowl and saved the rest as leftovers. TAKEAWAYS. Quick and casual pho spot in East with large bowls, tasty food, and good value. Perfect for occasions when you don't want to worry about reservations and just grab a quick and delicious meal on the run. Happily, Clayton Cohn read more

I have an addiction. It is Vui's pho. I seriously can't get enough. The broth is made by angels. The fresh ingredients taste as if they had been hand-picked by cherubs. The proteins are always a perfect addition. I legit drink the broth out of the bottom of the bowl. It's that good. The bao buns are perfection. The pork belly is deliciously cooked and seasoned, and the pickled veggies pair with it perfectly. The coconut pudding is just plain yummy. I've been coming here for 5 years and noticed the quality of the meat has gone down significantly. Chicken doesn't seem to be chicken they cook themselves but rather purchased pre-cooked and super rubbery. It's the kind of meat you get in a pre-packaged salad at an airport. Other than that, things seem fine, but this meat thing is really weird and disappointing. Probably won't keep coming here. read more

I had really high hopes going in but I should have known better. I could tell it just seemed like a hip attraction from the looks of it. The soup (Pho) was good but it wasn't anything special, but that's just my opinion. Would I eat there again? Maybe if it was someone else's idea, however I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. I'm half Vietnamese and my mom and relatives cooked this for me fresh from scratch growing up. My mom taught me to be a harsh Pho critic because we always went to the best homey Pho restaurants when I was young. Sadly their Pho just wasn't up to the standards I'm used to ;/ felt like it was missing something. I've been to a couple other Pho places in Nash that cooked it, in my opinion, the right way. read more
