The flavors were great, and it had small pockets of spice here and there, but over all, it's a spice level made for the typical alabaster disaster. They have pad Thai, various curries, tofu, dumplings, the typical Thai offerings in the US. Prices range from 8ish dollars to 23ish dollars depending upon the type of dish. Also worth noting, this location is in a food hall type building where you pick your food up from a locker.

Best Thai food in Nashville!!…read more I love Degthai and have eaten here numerous times, both in person and for takeout. The portions are gigantic and the food is delicious. Service is always friendly and quick. I used to think the mild Pad Kra Pao was pretty spicy, but I think they have decreased the spice levels because now it is extremely manageable. They have chili oil and other spices at the table in case you need to add more spice. Recently, I've been loving the red curry. It is packed full of meat, vegetables, and flavor. It easily feeds me for 2 or even 3 meals They have an outdoor patio in the summer. Not a great view of the road, but it's a nice patio. The inside is cute and Thai-themed.

For the appetizers, we ordered Bulgogi tacos, a red dragon roll, Wagyu and spicy tuna crispy rice, and crispy brussels sprouts. The crispy Brussel sprouts is a crunchy scrumptious salad that is so good. The spicy tuna crispy rice was also amazing. Bulgogi tacos were very large and had a lot of meat, although were a bit oily. For my entrée, I ordered the salmon poke bowl, which would've been amazing except that the sauce was too salty. That's a shame, since nothing is cooked so it should be relatively hard to mess up. Would've been nice to get the sauce on the side, so that you could tailor it to your own taste. Oh well! The appetizers made up for it!

The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the tofu was browned to perfection. The grilled broccoli and cauliflower were snappy and contrasted well with the rest of the ingredients. The dish had a spicy yet tolerable kick to it, but I have a very high threshold for spice and heat (I added chili oil to take it up a notch!). Also, the portion size is BIG. I was very hungry so I had no issues finishing most of it, but it could easily be shared between two adults, especially if you order an appetizer or side. I loved the interior decor, which was simple yet eye catching. The mural encompassing the entire space in particular looked really cool. I have a peanut allergy and they were very accommodating and automatically made any necessary adjustments to dishes we ordered. We tried a couple different drinks and they were all very good and fairly priced. We went on weekend nights and only had to wait around 20 minutes to be seated indoors, which was to be expected as this place was packed with people and we would have been willing to wait longer if needed. We had two different servers, I unfortunately can't remember our first one's name but she was the one with stretched ears that normally wears her hair up. She was great and very thorough in explaining how the menu worked. The second night we had Lexi and she was super sweet. They were both fantastic and I hope to be seated with either one of them when we eventually go back!

The Thai Ice Tea was on the sweeter side, but still held the "thai ice tea flavoring" we were hoping for. (I'd say if it was a little less sweet, the flavor would stand out more.) We had no reservations but note that the seating is very limited. Additionally, you'd have to validate your parking by scanning a QR code they have (first 3 hours free). Our server was also very friendly! She made sure to check in on us on top of handling the rest of the tables herself as we dined. For the price it was worth it. We didn't explore the grocery that much but it seemed like it had a nice balance of dry food goods, refrigerated items, and small objects, mostly either for cooking or the occasional gift. It was clean inside and being a grocery store had a good bit of parking outside. The restaurant is on the far right as you enter. We were greeted warmly and told to seat ourselves. Menus were delivered promptly. I ordered a Thai tea to drink. Hubs got the fried shrimp appetizer and we both chose noodles for lunch; he opted for pad see ew and I got drunken noodles. The restaurant was fairly busy but despite the crowdedness it still felt easy to have conversation with each other. Our food came out quickly but had clearly been cooked fresh. The Thai tea was the one thing that didn't hit at all. It had a very intense flavor that I couldn't quite place compared to all the other Thai teas I've had. Could just be this one is more traditional, lol. But it wasn't quite as sweet as I'm used to and it almost had a subtly salty vibe; I wouldn't get it again. That said, the cooked food items were quite good. The breading on the shrimp was incredibly crispy and even I liked them well enough at first; the flavor was light and the texture not rubbery. We did ultimately realize these shrimp had not been deveined, which is not our preference but I understand it's not a requirement to be able to eat them. The noodle dishes really shone, though. Hubs liked his pad see ew and we both thought my drunken noodles were even better. Lots of tender but still-crisp veggies in both. Strong and pleasantly aromatic basil flavor in mine. Large portion sizes. The noodles were cooked well and were pleasantly chewy. Mine was lightly spicy but nothing intense; I wound up adding more chili oil from the small container on the table. Service was a highlight throughout; the women working were very personable, got us to-go boxes, and were attentive to any other needs we had. Lots of menu choices here and fresh food prepared quickly. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

I ordered takeout so cannot speak on the ambiance of the restaurant, but was unfortunately disappointed when I got home and opened my meal. The curry was a very small portion. The rice was well cooked and plentiful! The sticky rice dessert was just okay as well. The coconut milk sauce was delicious but could've done with more. The food was ready fairly quickly so if you want a quick small lunch I would recommend but I still was hungry after both the main and dessert which is rare for me.
