We try crab rangoons everywhere we go. I had to order some when I spotted them on the menu. Not much crab, and otherwise very ordinary rangoons. Nothing exceptional but still tasty.

Decent Thai food prepared quickly and made to order at Assembly Food Hall. With all of the available hot chicken, pulled pork, and beef brisket, Thai Esane is a nice alternative.

We love Assembly Food Hall and aim to try a new place every time we come here. Thai Esane was our restaurant for our recent visit and it was a decent meal overall. I got the drunken noodles and I liked the flavor of the meal and the texture of the vegetables, but the chicken was oddly soft and the texture was more akin to tofu. My wife got the red curry and she loved the flavor of it, but the texture of her chicken was also off and she didn't care for it either. Prices were very reasonable and we would come back here again, but would probably not get the chicken next time.

Thai Esane is pretty good. Although my dish was too spicy for my liking, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal and even offered to finish mine as leftovers. The staff was really helpful in guiding us on vegan options to order.

I visited Thai Esane in Assembly Food Hall on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 11:30 am. The menu, of course, has only selected options from their main restaurant's menu which encompasses all the popular staple dishes like pad Thai, curries, drunken noodles, and fried rice. There are also fresh rolls, wings, and crab Rangoon available as starters. I had the Esane fried rice with chicken. Thai-style fried rice in general, tend to be more moist than Chinese fried rice. With that in mind, I thought the texture was correct, but the flavor was reminiscent of a Chinese take-out fried rice. Portion was small, as to be expected from Assembly Food Hall. Service was average. The lady who took the order had some attitude and seemed like she didn't want to be there. The food was prepared quickly, as it should since I was the only customer there at the time. If you want to try their full menu, I recommend going to the main restaurant instead.

    Crab Rangoon

I got the crab Rangoon as an appetizer and it was more cream cheese than crab but still delicious. The chicken pad see was good and served fresh and hot. Not a large amount but still good for $23 at the food hall.

    Malaysian Noodles are just ok.

We had just average service in ordering and food delivery. The Malaysian Noodles were nothing special. It was great to be able to have so many dining options in the food hall so you could enjoy a meal with friends or family and everyone can order what they want. Probably wouldn't return since there are so many other options around at this food hall

The food court here is incredibly large, but we always come back to the same place for their phenomenal food. This time we ordered pad Thai with chicken and pad see eww with chicken. Delicious!!

    Chicken dumplings - very scrumptious!

This place was insane in my membrane!! Great and quick service with a friendly smile in tow. The restaurant is a little lack luster in decor, but who cares when the food is delightfully delish! I am adding this place to my Nashville favorites!

Best Thai food in Nashville!!…read more I love Degthai and have eaten here numerous times, both in person and for takeout. The portions are gigantic and the food is delicious. Service is always friendly and quick. I used to think the mild Pad Kra Pao was pretty spicy, but I think they have decreased the spice levels because now it is extremely manageable. They have chili oil and other spices at the table in case you need to add more spice. Recently, I've been loving the red curry. It is packed full of meat, vegetables, and flavor. Parking can be a little cramped so keep that in mind if you're visiting during a busy time. For the service itself, it's the kind of place where you simply order at the cashier and take a number to your table. They've always been quick to drop off our food. I ordered the Street Dumplings during my last visit and they were fantastic. It's hard to find good soup dumplings in these parts so I'll probably be ordering these as an appetizer every time now. The Chicken Red Curry was also delicious, if a little mild. I just wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often!

Parking is free (must be validated inside the store) once you're seated. When it comes to the food, overall it was pretty good and reasonably priced. Lots to pick from, including Pho in a Thai restaurant. However, not sure if it was missed by our server, but the spice level (we got everything on a level 4 out of 5) was nowhere to be found/noticed. Pretty sure it was not spicy at all, we all added the chili oil which helped tremendously. On the other hand, protein was minimal. The portion was underwhelming and especially the chicken in the curry and shrimp in the fried rice. Lastly, the Thai iced tea felt more "sweet/sugary" rather than being actual tea. My personal rating: 3.8/5

For the Kra Prao Moo Kai Doo, the Minced pork was very moist with plenty of flavor. There was a ton of rice served with it lol. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the tofu was browned to perfection. The grilled broccoli and cauliflower were snappy and contrasted well with the rest of the ingredients. The dish had a spicy yet tolerable kick to it, but I have a very high threshold for spice and heat (I added chili oil to take it up a notch!). Also, the portion size is BIG. I was very hungry so I had no issues finishing most of it, but it could easily be shared between two adults, especially if you order an appetizer or side. I loved the interior decor, which was simple yet eye catching. The mural encompassing the entire space in particular looked really cool. The place was packed, but the friendly staff were hustling to keep the line moving.

I also found some interesting snack items, including versions of lays potato chips I have never seen in a US based grocery.
