I ordered through Uber Eats and they gave me a buy one get one free for the Pad Prik Tofu. The tofu and bell peppers were cooked well. Very yummy, flavorful without being too spicy. The tofu red curry was also great, and large portions. The dishes all came with white rice.

Food and service was great. Curry was the best dish we had there. Pad Thai was just okay, flavor wasn't all there.

The most orange Thai food I've ever seen. So spicy. I don't know why everything was soooo orange. I've had a lot of Thai food and this was bizarre and sad!

I had a girls night at Ginger Thai and loved my experience here. This restaurant is located in a strip mall in South Nashville. There is plenty of parking in the area. They also serve bubble teas and gelato, which was a welcomed surprise. The place was casual and very family friendly. Overall, nice relaxed vibes! To start, I got a Thai tea. I was very happy that they let me sub the cream with almond milk! The boba was perfectly chewy and the tea was delicious. As my entree, I got the Pad Himapane. I glanced at yelp before ordering and didn't see any reviews about it. I'm so glad I decided to take a risk and order this! This was a cashew stir fry with a light garlic flavor. I got a nice portion of white rice included with the dish as well. I really enjoyed the veggies and flavor all over. I would definitely order this one again and look forward to coming back!

As a Thai native, I think this place is pretty authentic and enjoy their food very much. I will definitely be returning to this place. The food is very similar how my mother prepared Thai food for the family. Linda was very nice and attentive waitress. Great food great service, nice ambience.

Fried rice taste nothing like Thai flavor. It was literally just salt. I could've made it home for way cheaper.

If looking for a hot meal you must definitely try! Everything came out hot & pretty fast. The service was great & everything was delicious. Definitely will be back again if I'm ever in Nashville!

Best Thai food in Nashville!!…read more I love Degthai and have eaten here numerous times, both in person and for takeout. The portions are gigantic and the food is delicious. Service is always friendly and quick. I used to think the mild Pad Kra Pao was pretty spicy, but I think they have decreased the spice levels because now it is extremely manageable. They have chili oil and other spices at the table in case you need to add more spice. Recently, I've been loving the red curry. It is packed full of meat, vegetables, and flavor. It easily feeds me for 2 or even 3 meals They have an outdoor patio in the summer. Not a great view of the road, but it's a nice patio. The inside is cute and Thai-themed.

Parking can be a little cramped so keep that in mind if you're visiting during a busy time. For the service itself, it's the kind of place where you simply order at the cashier and take a number to your table. They've always been quick to drop off our food. I ordered the Street Dumplings during my last visit and they were fantastic. It's hard to find good soup dumplings in these parts so I'll probably be ordering these as an appetizer every time now. The Chicken Red Curry was also delicious, if a little mild. I just wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often!

The…read morebase of vegetable broth mixed with coconut milk was creamy yet not heavy (with a blend of yellow and red curry spices, according to the menu -- sadly I am not that well versed in curries!). The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the tofu was browned to perfection. The grilled broccoli and cauliflower were snappy and contrasted well with the rest of the ingredients. The dish had a spicy yet tolerable kick to it, but I have a very high threshold for spice and heat (I added chili oil to take it up a notch!). Also, the portion size is BIG. I was very hungry so I had no issues finishing most of it, but it could easily be shared between two adults, especially if you order an appetizer or side. I loved the interior decor, which was simple yet eye catching. The mural encompassing the entire space in particular looked really cool. The place was packed, but the friendly staff were hustling to keep the line moving.

The hardest part about eating at Degthai is beelining to the Tiew Gang Vegan. (BTW, I am not Vegan, yet I LOVE the Tiew Gang Vegan.) They do everything well - the other curries, the standard noodle dishes, the dumplings - and it can be tempting to just go with your regular go-to dish like Pad Thai w/Chicken (BORRRINGG, but they do it well nonetheless.) You've gotta try the Tiew Gang Vegan. It's truly a once-in-a-year of eating out experience finding a dish this incredible. It competes pound-for-pound in the same heavy hitter weight class as the best Pho, Ramen, Jjamppong, or Beef Noodle Soup you've ever had. I've now been to Degthai 10 times, and have gotten the Tiew Gang Vegan the last 5 times in a row.

After returning last night with my girlfriend and her four-year-old daughter, I can confidently say the experience was completely different. We were greeted and seated immediately, and the service was excellent from beginning to end. When my girlfriend mentioned that her drink was a little too sweet, our server quickly offered to replace it with something else. They also brought toys for her daughter, which was a thoughtful touch and made her feel welcome. The food was amazing. The wings were some of the best I've had, and the lo mein, bulgogi and fried rice were all excellent. Throughout our meal, several people who I assume were managers stopped by to make sure everything was going well. I was genuinely impressed by the level of service. There are fine-dining restaurants in Nashville where you don't receive this much attention or hospitality. Hawkers completely changed my opinion, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Now... if only I could remember where I am staying. LOL. Just kidding! I made it. I got so lit in Japanese whiskey flights that I ordered enough food for two people. Wasted Soup dumplings are so damn cool. It's also either an engineering marvel or some sort of biblical miracle. How is the soup born inside the little dumpling?? So many questions!! I had some here and they were sure tasty!! I also had some killer crispy fried pork belly and some kick ass twice fried Korean wings!! Pork belly had tremendous umami flavors and was sticky sweet and yummy all at once! Loved it! But then came the Star.... I love chicken wings as much as I love life! That my friend, is a whole fucking lot!! I am more full of myself than you could possibly imagine. I loved these particular chicken wings a little more than life. I walked through downtown Nashville alone, on a random weeknight, just to eat these wings because I saw them on Yelp. I had already eaten dinner at Eddie V's earlier in the evening, but these wings called me from more than a mile away... Come eat me, Adam.... Is all I could hear after I saw others pictures of the wings.... Shhhh. Wings. I can't. But you must, said the wings.... I can't, I have no transportation.... You have two feet still, the wings said... Guess who won that argument? '26 - 23

The atmosphere is like a restaurant in a store. Oh, wait, it is a restaurant in a store. But I wasn't here for the ambiance. I was here for the food. The benefit of being in a market is you can grab Asian items for home, including some fruits and vegetables you won't find at your local Kroger. I included the menu, so you can see how reasonable the prices are. I will also state the portions are good for the price. As for the market, there is a nice selection of items from Asia or used in Asian dishes. I also found some interesting snack items, including versions of lays potato chips I have never seen in a US based grocery. I usually hit K&S, so need to compare prices, as both of these are about equi-distant to where I lived right now (although 24 is more of a pain than 40 west). Kudos to a great experience.
