My Mai Tai

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a GREAT little spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was so nice to be able to order WHATEVER sounded good and not hold anything! The Nashville Hot Chxn Sandwich was perfect. The heat was on point, tangy pickles, smooth "mayo" and a soft & tastey bun. The chxn was so crunchy and held it's texture from start to finish. I was so impressed that the crunch held up from the first bite to the very last. We also had the citrus BBQ tofu salad. It was also AMAZING! Every part of the salad tasted like it was meant to be there. Pairing them was beautiful. The sweet, tart salad cut through the heat of the sandy just right!! I can not wait to come back to Nashville just so I can get more delicious food from this magical spot!!! And if you live here, you should know that this place is something special; what are you waiting for? Come try them or you need to come back in!!!!

Long southwest layover and the desire for a real meal encouraged me out of the airport and into a Lyft for lunch. The Bee Hive was my choice for this meal and it was a great Vegan find lots of choices since they only off vegan food. I selected the Nashville hot crunch. Which was excellent. The spice was balanced the pickles and shredded vegetables along with the seitan provided and very satisfying meal. Good choice of cookies and other vegan offerings

Whether you are vegan or not I dare you to give this place a try! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Located in East Nashville, this "deli" might look small but the flavors sure are mighty![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Truthfully, I've never been a beef fan nor have a I been a crunch wrap type of gal but I am genuinely amazed by the BE Hive's Taco Crunch wrap!! Fantastic flavor, honest ingredients and the staff was very helpful! So thank you to the sweet gal up front who led me in the right direction! My boyfriend was reluctant to give this place a shot but he even said he will be back himself for the crunch wrap! We also ordered their Classic Sub and their vegan pepperoni was the closest to pepperoni you can get! Their products are also Whole Foods! Support the BE Hive! I promise you will not regret it!

Chicken sandwich and fries

- ARE YOU KIDDING?! Okay, maybe I haven't had actual Nashville hot chicken (or any chicken for that matter) in years, BUT I WAS SHOOK. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The small diner vibe here is great - altho maybe note that it's best for only smaller groups to dine in here![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was sweet and quick and I decided to go with their reknowned seitan hot Nashville. From my first bite I was dancing in my seat! The sandwich was so tall I had to stretch my mouth to get a bite , so the cost is definitely worth the portion! The seitan is fried well, so that even with all the sauce you don't lose that crunch, yet soft and "meaty" inside. The sauce was fabulously savory and not necessarily solely barbecue or solely spice, but a balance. I also added on some fries which were waffle cut and came out fresh and hot!! I'd like to add that I got both of these items for the price that some other veggie/vegan spots charge for the sandwich alone! I was super pleased to have indulged my Nashville "chicken" dreams here.

Coolest all vegan deli in Nashville! It's a tiny spot, but has lots of options and little snacks and things to buy on the side. I got to try "jerky" for the first time ever and the texture and flavor was exactly what I imagined. I wish I got more flavors to try! We got the jalapeño popper fries (SUPER FILLING) & the Nash hot chicken sandwich which was DROOL WORTHY. I'll be thinking about this place months! 10/10 recommend!

Milkshake with strawberry

The vanilla strawberry shake was BUSSSS and I'm not even vegetarian let alone vegan. This was easily one of the best shakes I've ever had. I've been trying to eat less meat so I would definitely come back to try some of the food items! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also the vibe inside is so cute and retro and they have a small area where they sell vegan grocery and snacks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Chorizo Crunchwrap + Strawberry Milkshake

Small vegan restaurant, nestled in between The East Room (venue) & Hail (oddities shop) which are both cool places to check out after if you haven't yet. Parking at subway and walking over is usually the way to go if lot is full. My friends introduced this to me recently and I ended up ordering the Strawberry Milkshake & the Chorizo crunchwrap.... and just like that it became my new favorite stop. Best vegan food I've had hands down.

Classic Italian Sandwich and Loaded Nachos

Italian sandwich (cold) and nachos were so good! I tried the hot Italian sub, which had good flavor, but the cold Italian sandwich was the best, my husband and I both agree on it. There's just something about the contrast between the chewy bread, the crisp vegetables, the umami flavor of the vegan meat and cheese, and the delicious spread that they use. It's crave worthy. Each sandwich is so filling -- you will be stuffed. They even gave us a couple of cookies for free, which was probably the best vegan cookies I've ever had. Great service!!!

Excellent plant based eatery in East Nashville. Both items we ordered - the Crunchwrap and the kale Cesar salad - were delicious. The meat alternatives were cooked well, had good texture, and were very flavorful. I would be back to try other things! We ordered food via the website, and it was a very easy process. Our estimated pickup time was 15-20 minutes, and it was ready in 10. We took it to go so we can't comment on the ambiance.

Crunchwrap

I got the Crunchwrap delivered so while I cannot speak on the service or setting of the restaurant. It looks like a very good vibe though. The food was delicious and even was fresh after delivery. I definitely will be ordering this in the future.

My favorite bagel in town! I lived in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania as a sprout, so you…read morecan imagine my pretentiousness when it comes to bagels. I love a perfectly executed bagel in the same way that Dale Cooper loves a damn fine cup of coffee. As such, I had kind of given up hope to find an actual bagel in town. Other spots came close, but I always just felt like I was settling. However, Mr. Aaron's Goods does it soooo right. We finally have a bagel in Nashville with the right crust and texture! Would love to see a vegan bagel sandwich on the menu in the future!

Bagels are my birthright…read more I am a New Jerseyan / New Yorker that left the godless north for Nashville 10+ years ago. I was so afraid I would never have another good bagel again that I literally took bagel-baking classes at the Culinary Institute of America. I was right to be scared. For years, Nashville bagels were just bread donuts. Soft circles of steamed sadness committing breakfast fraud. The kind of thing someone hands you and says, "It's basically the same," right before you question every decision that led you south. Then this place showed up. It started as a pop-up inside TKO, R.I.P., and now it has taken over the whole space. This place gets it right. The bagels are boiled, rolled, baked, chewy, crusty, and spiritually accurate. Not "good for Nashville." Not "pretty close." Just really freaking good bagels. No apologies needed. The place looks the way a bagel shop is supposed to look. Concrete floors. Friendly chaos. People working hard behind the counter. And the people? That's the real thing. Mr. Aaron, his wife, and the whole crew are amazing. They know your name. They bust your chops. You bust theirs. That is community. That is customer service with a pulse. They even have a Mets fan, which proves their commitment to authenticity and long-term emotional damage. It's the kind of place you want to go every day, if your wallet, doctor, and basic sense of shame weren't constantly trying to ruin your life. Nashville finally has a real bagel place. I do not say that lightly. I say that as a man who has opinions about crust, chew, schmear, water, and most things. But this place rules. Go. Eat. Complain about the Mets. Order another bagel. Repeat.

Another rare five-star review but this place definitely deserved every star!…read more I learned about the little taco shop in the back from an Instagram post and convinced my husband that we needed to give it a try. First off, plenty of parking. Bonus. When you walk into the store, everything smells clean and fresh. The grocery section is well organized. The produce section is overflowing with fresh veggies that are well-priced. You can find most everything you are looking for at a grocery store. In the back of the store, they have a deli and a little taco shop. There are tables and chairs, so you can eat there or take your food to go. My husband got two Quesabirria Tacos and a side of rice and beans. I ordered three street-style tacos: Carnitas, Barbaco and Pescado, which was grilled. I also ordered a side of plantains. Throw in a bottle of water and the total bill was $31. There was so much food that I had to take the rice and beans, 2 tacos and my plantains home. I just could not eat any more! They have housemade salsa that they sell in pint containers. The Salsa Verde was so delicious that I have been putting it on all my food this past week. It's spicy but not overpowering. I'm going back just to get more of that salsa! Reading the comments from the Instragram post, people told the IG poster not to give away locals' secrets. This definitely is a hidden gem!
