Cute little spot! I got the Nashville seitan hot chxn sandwich and added waffle fries for $3. The sandwich was fantastic, really loved the ranch. There wasn't a lot of waffle fries but they were crispy and yummy nonetheless. The chz is from rebel and although I've been wanting to check out this chz I couldn't get over paying $25 for it. Stopped in at Be-Hive for lunch and tried a half classic sub with a strawberry chocolate milkshake. Both absolutely delicious! The sub was packed with flavor and had that fresh nostalgic deli feel. The milkshake was creamy and perfect with the strawberry and chocolate twist, pairing beautifully. It's amazing to find a spot where everything on the menu is vegan, and you don't have to second-guess any ingredients. The vibe inside is laid-back and the service is welcoming, and it's great to have a deli-style market doing vegan food that is not only healthy but so delicious. What a GREAT little spot! It was so nice to be able to order WHATEVER sounded good and not hold anything! The Nashville Hot Chxn Sandwich was perfect. The heat was on point, tangy pickles, smooth "mayo" and a soft & tastey bun. The chxn was so crunchy and held it's texture from start to finish. I was so impressed that the crunch held up from the first bite to the very last. We also had the citrus BBQ tofu salad. It was also AMAZING! Every part of the salad tasted like it was meant to be there. Pairing them was beautiful. The sweet, tart salad cut through the heat of the sandy just right!! I can not wait to come back to Nashville just so I can get more delicious food from this magical spot!!! Long southwest layover and the desire for a real meal encouraged me out of the airport and into a Lyft for lunch. The Bee Hive was my choice for this meal and it was a great Vegan find lots of choices since they only off vegan food. I selected the Nashville hot crunch. Which was excellent. Whether you are vegan or not I dare you to give this place a try! Located in East Nashville, this "deli" might look small but the flavors sure are mighty! Truthfully, I've never been a beef fan nor have a I been a crunch wrap type of gal but I am genuinely amazed by the BE Hive's Taco Crunch wrap!! Fantastic flavor, honest ingredients and the staff was very helpful! So thank you to the sweet gal up front who led me in the right direction! My boyfriend was reluctant to give this place a shot but he even said he will be back himself for the crunch wrap! Simple take-out concept for the vegan/vegetarian in you. They have one of the best "chicken" sandwiches in town. I'm not a vegan or vegetarian by any means but that doesn't I dabble in these establishments as well. It's about the flavor and texture, not to mention there is intention on putting food together that people will enjoy. You don't get that from some places that just put food out to put food out. Kudos to them on a fun "fast food" type menu with their twist on it. Their take-out service is fast and very responsive as I feel a lot of their business is through that. The small diner vibe here is great - altho maybe note that it's best for only smaller groups to dine in here! The sandwich was so tall I had to stretch my mouth to get a bite , so the cost is definitely worth the portion! The seitan is fried well, so that even with all the sauce you don't lose that crunch, yet soft and "meaty" inside. The sauce was fabulously savory and not necessarily solely barbecue or solely spice, but a balance. I also added on some fries which were waffle cut and came out fresh and hot!! I'd like to add that I got both of these items for the price that some other veggie/vegan spots charge for the sandwich alone! Coolest all vegan deli in Nashville! It's a tiny spot, but has lots of options and little snacks and things to buy on the side. I got to try "jerky" for the first time ever and the texture and flavor was exactly what I imagined. I wish I got more flavors to try! The vanilla strawberry shake was BUSSSS and I'm not even vegetarian let alone vegan. This was easily one of the best shakes I've ever had. As a vegetarian I was thrilled to come here while visiting Nashville! I got my fix of a friend chicken sandwich (made from Tempeh) which was tasty. The consistency was a little softer, I've had imitation chicken that gets a little crispier but this was a fun place to try. The space is really cute and the service was excellent. read more

Small vegan restaurant, nestled in between The East Room (venue) & Hail (oddities shop) which are both cool places to check out after if you haven't yet. Parking at subway and walking over is usually the way to go if lot is full. My friends introduced this to me recently and I ended up ordering the Strawberry Milkshake & the Chorizo crunchwrap.... and just like that it became my new favorite stop. As a full-blown meat-eater for over 3 decades, I'm consistently blown away by how much I'm missing out on when I try great vegan spots, and The Bee Hive absolutely hit the mark and then some!!! You know a place is damn good when you're in town for a week and find yourself going back more than once just to try the rest of the menu . Italian sandwich (cold) and nachos were so good! I tried the hot Italian sub, which had good flavor, but the cold Italian sandwich was the best, my husband and I both agree on it. There's just something about the contrast between the chewy bread, the crisp vegetables, the umami flavor of the vegan meat and cheese, and the delicious spread that they use. It's crave worthy. Each sandwich is so filling -- you will be stuffed. They even gave us a couple of cookies for free, which was probably the best vegan cookies I've ever had. Great service!!! read more

Went to @thebehive for dope plant food last night and it was dope indeed. I got buffalo chickn tacos (of course I did) and the sour cream was out of this world. Others in my party got salads, the hot Italian sandwich, and chickn parm and everyone loved their food. (3 of them were not vegan and still loved it). Cute place (VERY) small inside but has some vegan groceries too. And a small parking lot for convenience. Really reasonable prices for a vegan spot in a tourist destination too! This is a vegan deli, which is an odd new trend (there's one in Cincinnati, and a few in more coastal cities). It just seems like such a contradiction, and the aesthetic conveys to me a place that I wouldn't be comfortable in (as a virtually life-long vegetarian). And this particular shop definitely feels like a regular deli. But the options on offer are a small selection of fresh-cooked vegan food, and a wall of niche vegan products. There's some good stuff there, but I would guess that Nashville has other places to buy your Oatley, your Just Egg, and so on. From a prepared food perspective, I ordered a kale caesar that delivered about as much as I could have expected of it. Kale is definitely his or miss for me, but here it was texturally right, and the Nashville Hot non-chicken with grilled peppers and onions added an abundance of flavor. Even eaten hours later when the freshness wasn't ideal, it was still good. I in no way needed but was nonetheless tempted by a blueberry coconut cookie, which tasted as good as it looked. Pricey stuff, but it's nice to see the vegan market growing. read more

This was my favorite stop during my recent visit to Nashville. Went here on our way to visit The Gaylord, because obviously we need fuel for that excursion. I went with the brunch wrap and was thrilled with my choice. The just egg, bacun, queso and waffle fries was everything I could have asked for with my first meal of the day (but i would add a few jalapenos to it if i ever get back there). My gal pal got the taco crunch wrap and the jalapeño popper waffle fries... wowzers! Those fries are SMOTHERED in queso, jalapeños and their house made bacun. The sour cream on the fries is the perfect balance. Oh! I also got a double chocolate cookie that they make in house... I ate half while I waited for my crunch wrap. They also have so many grocery goods in the store! I didn't have the ability to carry food around all day, but what a treat to be able to get local kombucha, vegan ice cream sandwiches, salty snacks, jerkee, and more when you pop in to grab some lunch or dinner. 10/10 would return! read more

This was the best vegan Nashville Hot Chik'n sandwich we had on our road trip. It was spicy, crispy, saucy/oily where our other sandwiches had dry seitan. The brioche bun was soft and lovely. I had the $5 crunchwrap special which was quite tasty. We ordered BBW wings, ended up with Buffalo wings, but they were excellent. I was actually torn between Buffalo style and BBQ, so it's all good. Crispy tasty coating and you can tell they use vegan butter in their sauce. I couldn't resist getting an Italian sub as well, which I ate for breakfast the next day. The sub was great - the pepperoni and deli slices with the fresh veggies and condiments were quite good. The roll was hearty rather than fluffy, which nicely absorbed the sandwichy goodness overnight. The storefront is tiny and red and tucked back from the street. The street has something strange going on with how the buildings are numbered, so we did struggle to find the place. read more
