I recently worked with Sandy at VT Services on a Lenovo laptop with a busted screen. I am usually pretty skeptical when it comes to the claims process re: extended warranties, but have to say that VT not only made it painless for me, but also took extra steps to help me resolve an issue I could not have fixed on my own. First, I really appreciated the attention to customer communications. I received a call from VT the day after reporting the issue to the extended warranty company just to make sure they had the right contact info, home address, phone numbers, etc. A nice touch that probably saved a week of repair time. Also, I loved the email status updates. Even if there was not much to report, an email every few days let me know that progress was being made. In addition to the strong communications, Sandy was very patient and helpful with a complicated issue. Without getting too deep into the problem, Sandy helped resolve a parts problem that required a lot of back and forth with the manufacturer and warranty company. I was facing a few very different outcomes and Sandy worked to find a solution that fixed the problem and worked out fine for all parties. Very pleased with my experience with VT Services. read more

One word - WOW! Sunday night, the color wheel on our Samsung DLP HDTV blew itself to pieces. I called VT Services Monday morning; they didn't think they had the part in stock, and would have to order it. The very nice woman who answered my call, Sandy, asked if I would mind if she sent a tech out to take a look at it before they ordered it, to make sure that was the problem, and confirm which color wheel it was. I said sure, and they came out right away. Scott and Pat confirmed the problem and got the correct part number, and Scott said he believed they had one in stock! He called back shortly to let me know that they did, in fact, have it in stock, and could he come pick up the tv? I had my television back and working just a couple of hours later! My large screen TV failed a few months after the extended warranty coverage period began. After filing my claim on line with the warranty company, they chose V Tech Services in Prospect Heights, IL to evaluate the situation. I was contacted by a very nice lady named Sandy. She treated me with respect and assured me that my claim would be given the utmost attention and priority. The next day, the technician arrived at my house, on time and ready to work on my problem. He even put little booties on his shoes so as not to track dirt into my house. Sandy continued to call with updates on the progress of my claim including a follow-up call after it had been settled. When my main 27" iMac stopped working, I called on VT Services to fix it. They did and returned it to me. However, in the shipping process between Illinois and Colorado, the monitor was smashed and one corner of the frame was bent beyond recognition. Jodi and Stephanie helped me through my panic attacks! God bless them both. The people who put the inards of the computer into a new frame and monitor must be Computer Wizards!! It looks like a brand new computer and operates like one, as well. I work as Technology Coordinator at a local school district. I needed to outsource my repairs for Chromebooks, Apple laptops and iPads. I am very skeptical about 3rd party laptop/device repair. So, I requested a tour at VT services and had conversations with the staff and repair techs, looking to see if they have the proper tools and facilities. They do. They are very aware of what everyone's repair needs are. The repair services has a good turn around time and I like that they are transparent and very communicative. They have taken a load off my shoulders at a reasonable price (better than Apple's) VT services shortened my repair times from 3 months to less than a week. I am extremely happy with the people at VT services. I had them to fix my Magnavox 42 inch HDTV (black screen and smell burn). The tech picked up in the morning and brought it back in the same day. A few months later, I decided to call them again to take a look at my Apple Macintosh G5 tower as the power was not working properly. A few weeks, the service was complete. VT Services is the BEST electronics repair facility I have ever experienced. My 55 inch Sony Wega had only a week left on the in home extended service contract. The projection bulb was starting to fail. After calling the service contract company, I was told that VT would service my Sony. Sandy contacted me the next day, and Scott the service technician came to my home the next day... ON TIME, diagnosed the problem, ordered a new bulb, and had it installed in less than two days. Repaired my MSI GE72VR 6RF Apache Pro gaming laptop that'd had a LOT of faulty keys that didn't accept any of my input and the turnaround time was great I had it back within a week from sending it out fantastic experience, don't know why this place has lower reviews, remember 100% of people post for complaints 10% post if the service was good.
