Dropped off my laptop for a 48-hour diagnosis, but had to call multiple times just to get updates. First they said they couldn't access it due to a password issue--I immediately provided it. Then the next day, they still claimed they couldn't log in, after I asked if they had inspect it. The owner said no, but suddenly said it needed a motherboard replacement, which didn't make sense. Still got charged a diagnosis fee for an inconsistent evaluation. On top of that, the owners were arguing in front of customers, which was unprofessional. Would not recommend. read more

Wouldn't even trust them to repair a TV remote. The owner is extremely rude, and they have absolutely no idea what they are doing. Took 2 weeks for them to figure out what I already told them was wrong with my computer and then they decided they can't fix it and charged me $30. Smells bad in there too. read more

I had a recent issue with my Android Auto music where it suddenly stoped playing out of the driver side door speaker yet the music generated by the cars radio would play out of both speakers as it should. Having had prior exceptional experience with Tekkies for my phone. I decided to see if they could help. Even though he was very busy, he took the time to walk out to my car with me and within 1 minute he, ONCE AGAIN DID HIS MAGIC....WALAH! FIXED. Brian and his staff are very helpful. They can repair almost anything. Brought in an old laptop with Windows Vista and he was able to transfer my files and pictures onto a new laptop. Also had old desktops replaced and didn't lose any business files or programs. Great people to work with! read more

I have been going to tekkies for years because I'm not very computer savvy. However, my son just went in the store to pick up what he ordered and they were having friendly conversation until the lady who works there, told my son to get his item started screaming at him to get the hell out. He was flabbergasted, and asked if he offended her, she just told him again to get out of their store and locked the door behind them. They were still open. My son's feelings are very hurt he had never in his life been treated like that in a store. He wanted to buy a mouse and keyboard but they threw him out. I'm shocked as I see my son is devastated, and I will never ever go to this store again. -Jerry read more

Tekkies was a bit out of the way but across the street from. a grocery store. Brian did a great jo. I had my phone back in 30 minutes and I got some grocery shopping while I waited. Oh by the way Tekkies was almost half of Verizon's price. Nice guy who really knows his stuff. He's very, very good I highly recommend this place located in a nice strip mall in Bartlett read more

I wouldn't recommend, Tekkies computer & gadget repair I brought my iPhone in for a replacement of the back glass. They replaced the back of my iPhone with no Apple on back. Instead of calling me to let me know. They didn't have the proper back in stock. They still replaced my back glass. They placed a sticker to cover it up. I came back into the establishment to speak with them in regards to the back glass." she told me the tech would give me a call, in regards to my iPhone. I never received a call back and I called but no answer. Truly unprofessional and I don't recommend for computer & gadget repair. read more

I requested my phone charger port to be fixed. Paid, went to the car and only one side worked on the charger port. Aside from that, they mustve messed something up because now my phone powers off randomly. I now need a new phone thanks to Tekkies read more

My first experience was a phone screw repair. They fixed it quickly and was working right. Over time because the screen was a knock off the touch on the sides began to fade. It got so bad I had to replace again. It would have been best to go to Apple in the first place. Second experience was a PS4 repair. They fixed the problem but within 6 months same issue happened. Took it back to them which they had for one month. I was told when I dropped it off they could look at it tomorrow. Days, weeks went on. The numerous of messages I left for the tech were never returned. Finally I just told the woman who works the counter, I'm picking up my machine tomorrow, repaired or not. Went in next day, they said we just can't fix it we've tried everything. Fine I get it things happen. Brought it home and figured out they didn't even put all the screws back and things were falling off. Called another local company and they had it fixed the next day. Don't use this company. Customer service bad, rude how they speak to you and incompetent. read more

Came here a couple of weeks ago to have my phone fixed because of a broken screen. I showed up 20 minutes before closing and left right at closing with my phone repaired and a bill well under $100. With non-corporate tech repair places, you are looking for a great deal with the hope that non-shady/shortcut practices will occur. This place is one of those. Brought in an android model (non-popular), that they were repairing for the first time (cracked screen). I picked it up and "signed" off on the repairs being done essentially. Go home and my screen naturally cracked. I'm thinking "oh crap!" I was 100% convinced that the job done was not correct, but what are the odds of Tekkies taking responsibility at this point. In a nutshell, they owned up to the incorrect fix job (customer satisfaction!!!) and re-repaired it (requiring another new screen). You can trust these people folks. read more

I used this for my custom pc build, and it was great. cable Management was great, all the fans turned on, every part was plugged in, perfect windows install, and they had all my nvidia drivers ready when I got there. My only problem was that they never told me that my cpu socket on my motherboard was broken, as I had to call them. (No worries as I had a warranty and we took it back to the store for replacement) The employees were very nice and respected me very well, I'd even say that I'd want to get a job here when i'm legally old enough. read more

9/14 - Updating my review. A few months after the camera started having issues again. They quoted me $45 to fix it. When I went in they wouldn't honor that price she said it would be $75. Took it elsewhere only to find out screws were missing and that was what the issue was. Would NOT recommend this establishment. Great service and awesome prices! I would highly recommend Tekkies to anyone. They fixed the camera on my iPhone in 15 minutes! Super friendly people there read more

I honestly can't say enough good things about Tekkies. First, I love that they are a local Bartlett company. I brought my son's iPad in there a few weeks ago for a cracked screen. They fixed it and sold me a great case that is super durable for kiddies. Fast forward a couple weeks, and the iPad wouldn't turn on.. It died and for some reason I was unable to get it working again... I took it to Tekkies and asked them to take a look. They were able to find the problem, fix it, and get this... IT WAS FREE!!!! They do a phenomenal job, are great communicators, and awesome customer services. They have my business for life now! :) read more

This review is for my boyfriend. He went in and got his iPhone 5 screen fixed. It was completely smashed where pieces had been falling off and lifted in certain areas. He called ahead of time to make sure they had the part. The guy fixed his phone in 15 minutes and it was up and running smoother than it was before it cracked. Again I would recommend this place over any other place. These are good people here and they have the best prices out there. read more

Had Tekkies replace my iPad mini screen in July 21 and in February 22 the glue that held the screen in place came loose and then the home button stopped working. The repair job at first was nice at first but I believe it should have lasted a lot longer than it did seeing as it cost over $100 to fix, when I called to see what they could do was just told 90 day warranty... read more

They may be good at cell phone repair, but they suck at PC's. I had to go back twice because the new hard drive that they installed kept giving me the same error - "No Operating system found." They charged me a total of $185 for restoration and new hard drive, but I suspect that the hard drive they installed is an old, re-furbished one. Beware of going there. They kept insisting "nothing was wrong", and then had the audacity to try to charge me $15 for "diagnosis".... that's poor customer service in my book.... Now... I have to go through the trouble of just doing it myself...mirroring the shitty hard drive that they installed and putting in a new one. This "investment" was meant to save me time and trouble, but it looks like I have to go at it on my own. read more

Brought in my IPhone 7s that would not power up. For a $ 15 fee they would look at my phone. I just walked in the house and Brian called saying he got my phone working, total cost $ 15.00. I was very surprised at the quick repair and super fair pricing. I had just come from the local Verizon store where I had purchased this phone 2 years ago. The only thing they could do was to sell me a new phone for $ 820+. Thanks Brian and Tekkies. Tom read more

Brought my Xbox here for a diagnostic due to it having power issues, they had it for about 3-4 days and did not call me about it. I finally called because they said it would only take 72 hours. They told me there was roaches inside of it and was immediately put together and placed in a bag. I go pick it up immediately because I am embarrassed and feel so bad not knowing I even had roaches in my home. I come home open up the whole xbox and the system is as clean as could be, where are the roaches ??? I call back and ask them to clarify that there was for certain roaches inside of it and they left them in there and they repeat that it was immediately put together and placed in a closed bag. They also claimed that my boyfriend knew and told them "it's roaches isn't it" when what he asked was "can you tell me what kind of bugs are in it." I don't care if you can't fix something just tell me that, don't get me stressed out about roaches. Extremely unprofessional and ridiculous service. read more

Second time using Tekkies services. Very impressed with their great customer service. Very reasonable pricing. Went in with a broken monitor hinge Alex did and excellent job on the repair. They did a great job of repairing the hinge on my computer. I really appreciate that. It was done in a timely manner. However, during the check out process, an option came up on the screen asking if I wanted to give a tip. I thought that was bold of them. I don't get tips for what I do. Anyway, I gave a tip because I really appreciate their service. I entered my own amount because I couldn't afford a higher amount. When the receipt came in my email, the amount have been increased without my approval. I received a bill three times, but I had to call and ask for a receipt saying I paid. I called and complained. I also answered their email asking my opinion. There was no effort on their part to apologize or refund me the over payment. I told them I would leave a negative review. read more
