I admit I was a bit concerned when I read the reviews, but our experience was great Tuesday. Craig provided excellent service and information, was prompt, and courteous. The Snapper collar app was very good, Grouper Special and Thai Whole Fish were both delicious. Atmosphere was solid and all employees were friendly. We will be back next OBA trip.

Beautiful gulf-front views and delicious food. Viktor was a great server - knowledgeable and attentive but not pushy. Food was delicious- came out hot and fresh. Menu is excellent- tons of great pairing options and everything was delicious. Drinks were excellent also and the crème brûlée was a great made from scratch dessert.

Absolutely Amazing Dining Experience! Located inside Perdido Beach Resort, is Voyagers an upscale, intimate, fine dining restaurant with a stunning view of the Gulf in Orange Beach, Alabama. From the moment we arrived and throughout the whole dining experience the service was impeccable. Forgive me but I believe our server was Craig aka John; well, I was calling him John as he resembled a younger John Travolta. Ha! Anyways, he was absolutely outstanding! He delivered exemplary politeness and manners, had high quality experience and a vast knowledge of everything on the entire menu and wine list. I'll tell you everything we ordered was delicious. The flavor profile of the spiny lobster spring rolls were to die for, while writing this it's evoking cravings for more. I had the gulf fish special of the evening, it was amazing, a perfect for summer dish which was just what I wanted. It had a watermelon, feta salad that accompanied it perfectly. I tried the whole fish, and OMG get it!!! That's the best way to eat fresh catch Gulf fish in my opinion, it was melt in your mouth, fall off the bone, and the flavors and seasoning were on point! Let's not forget about the decadent dessert which was 13 layers of chocolate! Just get it!!! It was velvety goodness! The cocktails were fantastic and very well executed. We had a bottle of wine with dinner. They have a superb wine list. When in Orange Beach, Voyagers is a must!

Wow. We had a phenomenal meal and exceptional service. Rusty took care of our group of 5 and took extra time to not only get to know us but also tell us about some great hidden gems in the area and give us an interesting cocktail lesson. From the bread, to tartare to entrees (I got the whole snapper), everything was soo good! And the cocktails were impressive as well - I recommend the sazarec and banana old fashioned. Reservations are recommended and the price point is a little high but well worth the experience.

Nice piece of fish. Sauce was amazing.

We were in town for a little anniversary getaway and decided to celebrate at Voyagers. The ambiance is very nice and the service was impeccable. Scott was very attentive and explained the specials so deliciously. We weren't really all that impressed with the food. I had the fish special which was very good (sauce was amazing), but it came with these little pasta dumpling type things. The pasta was very undercooked and thick. I overheard a man at the table next to us complaining to the manager about the same thing. My husband had the pork chopped and said it was good, but the start of the show was his potato hash. He raved about it. We had really good drinks. We don't go to Orange Beach often, but the next time we visit we would probably try someplace else. BTW....Very expensive!

    Stuffed Chicken

We truly enjoyed our food, experience, view, and service. I had the scallops and different than what I'm used to, but they were very good along with the puree under the scallops. It comes with radishes, which not my favorite and there was a lot, but I just removed them. My husband had the stuffed chicken and again different than what we have eaten in the past but very good. My sister had the petite filet with a loaded potato and she said her filet was cooked well. Chandler B was our server and he was very friendly, engaging, and courteous.

I wish I would have taken a photo before we dove into our meal but it was just too delicious to stop. The view, the service, and food were all spectacular. We love coming here when we come to Perdido Beach Resort! Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.

My husband and I love Voyagers for a date night! I always get the petite filet & bayside Bleu Mac. On our most recent visit, another table had ordered the bolognese and it looked and smelled amazing so we also ordered that to try. It was divine! The staff is super knowledgeable and always recommends a yummy wine to pair with dinner. Voyagers is one of our favorite restaurants in Orange Beach!

Chef made a special vegetarian pasta that was amazing!

Is there availability to rent a room for a semi private party of up to 30 people?

No. It's small. Probably have to rent the whole restaurant.

We are going to be in OB for a beach vacation and have a reservation for Thursday night. What is the dress code? Do I need to pack a sport coat? I am trying to decide if I can pack khakis with a nice shirt.

I don't think I've ever seen a sports jacket in OB. Total casual, including shorts, tee shirt and sandals. This is the red neck Riviera after all. Enjoy.

Do you allow patrons to bring in there own wine?

Who is "you"? But I do mt know w of any restaurants that allow customers to bring their own wine?

My advice, find a seat, have someone order at the order window, then head to the bar to order drinks. The wait to order food took about a half hour. It was very quick to get our drinks. We were able to snag a couch area on a platform. It was so comfy and we loved the views. A heads up- if you snag a couch like this, kids will get up on the platform and jump off of it. People will step up on the platform and walk extremely close to you. I had to ask a kid to stop throwing sand by us because we were eating our dinner. It was a little chaotic. We were extremely patient and understand, but I could see some people being very upset and annoyed. After ordering, our food came out pretty quick. I started with the coconut grouper bites and they were phenomenal. Light breading, lightly sweat, and flaky. I had the Gulf Grilled Cobia and it was phenomenal. The fish was tender, flaky, and light. No fishiness at all. The sauce on the fish was also delightful. My husband and son had the fajita skewers and both enjoyed them. My husband also had the peel and eat shrimp and said they were amazing at The Gulf. Our drinks were okay. We had better drinks at other places during the week, but they weren't bad. We would return, but try to come on an off-time that wasn't so busy.

We did not like the 30 dollars worth of sweet shrimp. It does come in very generous portion if you like that type of flavor. Hush puppies were pretty darn good, light, nicely seasoned with good flavor. The Cole slaw was excellent. All portions were generous. We are from the north and maybe it is just a southern style we aren't familiar with or used to consuming. The gumbo is pretty good too. Fire Cracker Shrimp Fried Rice - 9.2 I order this every time we visit. It is my favorite dish of all the places we visit each year at the beach. It may not be the best but definitely my favorite and in the top 3 as far as best goes. The fried egg on top really puts it over the top although, I do wish it was runny and not cooked through. Gyoza - 7.0 Has a lot of filling which is good however, it isn't very seasoned or flavorful. They appeared to be fried however, not very crispy. We try gyoza at nearly any restaurant we visit that has it on the menu. Comparing this to other gyoza's, it's good but not great. Tuna Lovers Roll - 7.8 Roll was good but a little too spicy. The spice was expected obviously but still a tad too spicy. It also lacked the correct amount of sauce in my opinion. It also needed another ingredient or two to take it to the next level. Sesame Cracker w/ Honey Butter - 8.4 I rated it a little higher due to the originality. I have eaten at restaurants in half the States that make up this country and have never had toasted sesame crackers with honey butter. It is a thing in the South to have saltines, club cracker, etc. with butter at seafood and steak restaurants. However, I haven't seen this combo. It was good and not too filling.

One thing that stood out was the gift shop at the entrance--it could definitely use a refresh. The dark corner filled with outdated beach clothing isn't the best first impression. We visited on a Tuesday around 7:00 p.m., and there was no wait. During our meal, only about four tables were occupied, so it was very quiet. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and checked on us frequently. The only odd part of the atmosphere was that cartoons were playing on the bar TVs even though there weren't any kids in the restaurant. For dinner, my husband ordered the surf and turf, and his steak was cooked perfectly. The baked potato, however, came with an overwhelming amount of melted cheese--enough for several potatoes. I ordered the blackened grouper. It was cooked well and had good flavor, but the fillet was very thin and wasn't as memorable as other grouper dishes I've had. The whipped sweet potatoes were sweeter than expected from the brown sugar, and the Brussels sprouts were heavily coated in a sweet balsamic glaze, leaving them soft instead of crispy. I think both sides would be better with less added sweetness to let the natural flavors shine. We finished with the Bananas Foster, which was delicious and a fun presentation. It came with three small scoops of vanilla ice cream and half a banana. Since the flaming presentation takes a little time, larger scoops of ice cream would hold up better and not be half melted by the time the fire goes out. I got the catch of the day with a loaded baked potato and side salad which that to me was a 8.5/10. I was so full and so excited for my left overs. The manager was checking on every one and offered my daughter fish food. At this point I have paid and we went to go feed the fish and when we came back everything on the table was gone.
