Toasted Coconut Mojito. Best! Drink! Ever!

OSO is a must every time we go to the beach and has been since it went by another name. We love it. It never disappoints.

Local neighborhood place its back in a subdivision I went there on Thanksgiving eve. The food was good I had a grilled tuna bowl which was delicious Also had Parmesan baked oysters which were also delicious It was really busy so we sat at the bar (I like sitting at the bar for meals lol) Nothing special but definitely recommended

First time visiting after a day on the water. They gave pull up dock so you can step right off the boat and enjoy a meal. Patio is dog friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Server was friendly and the food came out quickly. Everything was fresh and delicious. Teenagers liked their build your own burger that had plenty of options. The nachos were good and even the half order was a large portion. The shrimp tacos were very good and flavorful. The pork sandwich had a very generous piece of meat lol! We ended the meal with beignets which were yummy, but ask for extra powdered sugar if you like them more traditional

    1. Service was good And server was very sweet. 2. Atmosphere was good. Would have loved to have live music piped to where we was sitting and not him singing and the box music at the same time. 3. Love the layout 4. Food was amazing and so fresh and delicious. The grilled pineapple margarita was so good that spice hits hard at the beginning wow so good. 5. Glad we saw a friend post on Facebook always looking for new places we never been. Oh the tuna was cooked to perfection

Wonderful location. Gorgeous views of the harbor. We saw a dolphin in the harbor. Food is delicious. I ate grouper. It was really good. I enjoyed their Bushwhacker drinks. So good. Nice service. Friendly staff.

One of my favorites when we visit Orange Beach as it has a great vibe, view and food. It surprises me that there is rarely a line to get seated versus others in the area. I had the gumbo and blackened grouper this time and it was great.

We were in Orange beach for a short weekend trip. Were recommended this place for the food and live bands. The food was great the live band was fun and entertaining.

OSO is a staple stop every time we go out in the boat. We stop in for gas and while we are there we usually grab some brunch and or drinks. The service is fantastic. We have some regular wait staff that we love seeing. The vibes are immaculate. Definitely worth a stop if you have never been.

The food was very good we had the grilled snapper and snapper étouffée. The fish were good but the sides were just ok. I had the ginger rice and Asian slaw. The server was nice and attentive. It was pretty to look at the boats out on the bay. The bartender was very good and I really enjoyed the coconut mojito. Also the bushwhacker cheesecake was delish.

My advice, find a seat, have someone order at the order window, then head to the bar to order drinks. The wait to order food took about a half hour. It was very quick to get our drinks. We were able to snag a couch area on a platform. It was so comfy and we loved the views. A heads up- if you snag a couch like this, kids will get up on the platform and jump off of it. People will step up on the platform and walk extremely close to you. I had to ask a kid to stop throwing sand by us because we were eating our dinner. It was a little chaotic. We were extremely patient and understand, but I could see some people being very upset and annoyed. After ordering, our food came out pretty quick. I started with the coconut grouper bites and they were phenomenal. Light breading, lightly sweat, and flaky. I had the Gulf Grilled Cobia and it was phenomenal. The fish was tender, flaky, and light. No fishiness at all. The sauce on the fish was also delightful. My husband and son had the fajita skewers and both enjoyed them. My husband also had the peel and eat shrimp and said they were amazing at The Gulf. Our drinks were okay. We had better drinks at other places during the week, but they weren't bad. We would return, but try to come on an off-time that wasn't so busy.

It's the food folks go there for. The oysters were fresh and served in a simple appealing way. The fish was white and firm and delicious. The grilled shrimp they are famous for do not have a savory flavor, tastes more like they were grilled with honey on them. We were not expecting that at all. We did not like the 30 dollars worth of sweet shrimp. It does come in very generous portion if you like that type of flavor. Hush puppies were pretty darn good, light, nicely seasoned with good flavor. The Cole slaw was excellent. All portions were generous. Overall they are friendly, the service is personable and efficient! Ambiance is that of a local diner style, not fancy just comfortable. We liked everything but the sweet grilled shrimp. We are from the north and maybe it is just a southern style we aren't familiar with or used to consuming. The gumbo is pretty good too. They have great mixed drinks and they have one that is a salted caramel flavor that is really excellent. Overall: would highly recommend for a good meal and friendly service. Probably the best place we ate in the Orange Beach area.

The buffet included cowboy caviar, spinach dip with tortilla chips and pita chips, green salad, cheese grits, macaroni and cheese, asparagus, a grilled fish, fried shrimp and chicken fingers. I also had a lemon drop martini made with raspberry vodka and it was great as well. It's not on the menu so you have to ask for it. We also went another day and had dinner from the menu. I had the fish if the day which was a grilled snapper that I had Oscar style topped with crab, served with a cheese risotto, It all went together well and was scrumptious! I forgot probably the best part, the barbecue shrimp appetizer! It was so good, the Cajun sauce was perfect, not too spicy and very creamy. The food didn't disappoint either. The oysters were good, the blackened snapper was great, and the rice they serve it on was honestly the standout. The only downside is the wait. You're looking at a minimum of 1.5 to 2 hours every time you go. The live music helps pass the time, so if a wait like that doesn't bother you, this place is perfect.
