The quality of my service was terrible, I showed a photo of what I wanted & it's not what I received. I went back the very next day & was told that the technician who did my nails was off, but comeback the next day, otherwise I'd have to pay all over again & receive a 20% discount. I chose to come back the next day, so the technician could fix it. Of course, I was told she had to leave early, but I could " comeback " the next day, or I could have another technician re-do my nails for full price with a 20% discount. When I asked if I could speak with the Owner of the shop personally, I just kept getting told what they'd said the previous day! I will never spend any more money with this business. read more

I have been coming here for years, but recently came in which my daughter and they had a sign says if that they no longer allow tips through the credit card machine. Then they installed and ATM so clients can pay a $1 fee to withdraw money for tips. Finally, the ATM only distributes increments of $20. I used to frequent this location all the time. I had a specific technician that I would see. But in the event I couldn't get to her, I always had great service by someone else. When Bebe left, I followed her to a couple of locations over the years. Long story short. I lost her during the pandemic. Can you say DISTRAUGHT?! I've tried a couple of nail salons and all were underwhelming. Now keep in mind I don't care for fluff; the latest and greatest chairs, 20 drink options, designs on my nails, etc. I just want a functioning massage chair, a Diet Coke or champagne at my disposal. What I care about is how my nails actually look. I found myself going back to where I had success long ago. I booked an appointment and found myself pleasantly surprised. Lee was super attentive. She pays obsessive attention to detail. I never felt rushed during the process. My one regret is that I didn't pay extra for a massage! She gave the best foot massage. I got there on a Sunday afternoon, and put my name on the sign-in sheet. Another customer came in after me and the employee at the desk told her it would only be a few minutes. She was getting a manicure and pedicure. I was getting only a pedicure. The customer who came after me was then seated at a manicure station. The employee then asked me if I could come back at 5, which is one hour before the salon closes. Basically the person getting more services (spending more $) gets their priority. read more

I'm giving 3 stars because the technician working with my husband did a great job. However, the one working on mine was very rushed. Poor application of nail paint and smudgy. I was done 10 mins before my husband even though we had the same manicure and ofcourse mine had more work with the need to apply polish etc. read more

I used to only go to Vo's but went yesterday hoping to use a gift card. I noticed the gift card expired on 12/20/20 but hoped they would honor it because of COVID and being shut down and not comfortable getting a manicure yet. So I went in and asked if they would redeem it. They immediately (and sassily) said they could not. I mentioned covid and shut-down and they showed NO grace whatsoever. It was extremely disappointing. You would think people would have a little grace in this season and offer a little kindness seeing as the gift card had already been paid for and barely anyone was in the store. Yesterday was my last visit to Vo's. I have used them on and off several years, leave then come back, and within 3 or 4 visits, I remember why I stopped The majority of the nail techs are sweet and friendly. However yesterday, I had Sandy, who I'm convinced was trying to go for a world record on the fastest and roughest pedicure possible. She never asked if my water was okay (it was cold), if I wanted my nails cut or filed (I wanted cut, she filed, and even when I asked, she refused to do it, then got mad when I asked her to at least file them to the length I wanted), if I liked the colors I chose- nothing. She scrubbed my feet so hard I thought she'd made them bleed and when it came time to remove the Shellac from my fingernails, she was incredibly rough. When trimming my cuticles during my pedicure and manicure, she nicked my skin and left cuticle on some nails and today, less than 24 hours after they were done, the Shellac- which should last 10-14 days- is already pulling away from my nails. I get my nails done every 2 weeks and it usually takes 1.5-2 hours depending on how careful the nail tech is. Total time for a manicure and pedicure? 56 minutes. That's worse than a nail mill- that's just crappy work. But Sandy knows the drill and was all sweetness and smiles as she stood in front of me, running my credit card, hovering over me to make sure I left a tip. read more

Vos used to be my "go to" nail salon. Returned for the first time since the pandemic and am extremely disappointed. They will not let anyone sit beside each other even if you're in the same family. I called ahead they assured me we could walk in and be seen and didn't need an appointment. After being seated in the pedicure chairs, I waited for a few minutes before someone came and started on mine. My sister, who I came with but couldn't sit with, didn't have anyone start on her nails until AFTER I was finished over 30 minutes later. No one apologized or seemed to care. She is so friendly and sincere, and pays attention to every possible detail of a manicure or pedicure. I'm huge on tips for the service industry; she got 40%. Clean, comfortable, quiet. I thought it was wonderful! They had flat screens on the wall for me to watch, and didn't mind that I sat reading my kindle as I got my pedicure. They offered water and soda while I was pampered. Additionally, I love the fact that they had individual boxes for people who frequented this nail salon. I was staying at the Doubletree across the street. Was told that Vo's was one of the only, and nicest, walk-in nail salons in town. I got the dip manicure for $37 (at least $10 more than it costs in Dallas). By day 2, one nail had already chipped. By day 5 four nails had severely chipped. This was the worst lasting and most expensive manicure for the value I have ever had. This is a nice shop. I always enjoy coming. The last two visits I had my nails done with Sandy. I wanted a manicure n she did a color change. It was ok bc she said it looked ok. I felt she was very good at doing the dip because it didn't look thick. She was not warm or very friendly but her technical skills were good. This time for a pedicure I requested her and technically she was good but not attentive. As I prepped my feet to leave, I noticed her on the couch on the phone as I exited. This was my first time comming here and it was a terrible experience. For one they dont do designs, then when my friend that I went in with they said she couldn't get the acrylic off so did they said they couldn't because they couldn't or they wouldn't so she had to go ahead and get the acrylic nails again. Probably one of the most peaceful nail salons I've been to in a long time. The ambiance at this location mimicked an actual spa..dimmed lighting, soothing music. They also had a good polish selection. HOWEVER... I opted for a gel manicure and a pedicure. Typically, I wouldn't expect to be out of the salon in less than an hour. Here, I was out in what felt like 35 minutes TOTAL. The woman who waited on me was super nice but the entire experience was extremely rushed. I sat down after 2 other women were already in the middle of their pedicures, and although I got a basic pedicure, I was done before them. Not to mention, I wasn't even asked which type of pedicure I'd prefer (I always get the paraffin wax so they missed out on that up-sell). Had I known it'd be that quick, I would've just asked for polish changes and massaged my own damn hands and feet with lotion myself. The girl waited to put on my top coat once she got my cuticles soaking but was so sloppy with applying it. I kid you not, it felt like my toes were being basted like a turkey. I only came here, instead of my usual place, because I was on this side of town and pressed for time. Next time, I'll stick to what I'm used to...especially if I'm paying the same price! read more

I understand with COVID you are to be 6 ft apart but when it is someone from your household they won't let you sit side by side. Then my sister was totally finished before I was even started on. Went to get my nails done here because I have a gift card with this address printed and they refused to take. The locations split management (I understand that) but businesses should honor gift cards bought before split that still have address printed. (Gift card not expired) Was able to use a month ago but claims they cannot take today. Also the prices are always changing/inconsistent. I used to go across the street to diva nails because there's hardly ever a wait but my friend recommended Vo's for quality service and rarely a wait. I'm so glad I listened to her- this is my new place! I live in midtown and make the drive out to Vo's every two weeks even though there are many places between my house/work and Vo's. I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes (though I'd recommend going before 5:30 in the afternoon when I notice it more crowded). Lucy is great but I've never had any sort of bad experience here from any technician! They keep your glass filled, water at desired temperature, and spend time on the massage portion which we all know is the best! read more

What a pampering time! Salon is clean hygienic and very modern with fancy massage chairs. Everyone is super friendly and careful. Wide variety colors and they have variety of brands and new polishes that are not dried out. You can walk in or make appointment. Been coming for years and I'm happy every time! Extra touches include warm lotion leg massage which is heavenly for a generous amount of time and hot towels wrap all included with basic pedicure. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR EYEBROWS WAXED!! The girl barely waxed my eyebrows, couldn't even tell a difference! I had to get her to fix severely things before I left and they still looked like they hadn't been touched! Got to my car, noticed a TON of wax in my HAIR!!! I call up there and all they are willing to do to fix the issue is for me to come back and let them redo my eyebrows and get the wax out of my hair. Of course, I went on my lunch break and couldn't go back. They would not refund my money nor give me store credit (which i would be going back anyway)! Horrible customer service! The relaxing ambiance with a glass of champagne was enjoyable although the technician was a little "rough", gesturing with a flip of her hand for me to place my hands into the dryers again and again. I left. About an hour later the surface of my red polish looked corregated. I returned the next morning and presented my nails for inspection. They called the girl out and she grabbed my hands -never looking me in the eye- demanding "what happened?" over and over, as though it were somehow my fault the polish had buckled and bubbled. She angrily re-did my polish, muttering in Vietnamese the whole time. No apology was ever offered at the front desk or certainly from the tech. I go to this nail salon frequently for mani's & pedi's. I took my 10 year old daughter with me for some pampering on a Friday afternoon, & I was shocked at how rude they were to my daughter. The tech who did not even have a name tag on(how convenient) sat down to do my daughter's pedi & was obviously not happy about having to do a kid pedicure. The owner then yelled at my daughter to sit down when it was time for her manicure. What an awful experience & so disappointing, given that Vo's is my go to spot for manis & pedis.
