I couldn't be more disappointed than I was yesterday, Saturday, June 17, 2023 in this place! Been going to Hannah since she was at Estelle's in Cordova. The disorganization she runs in her shop will eventually catch up to her. With nail places on every corner there's no reason to put up with bad service and disrespect. I feel sorry for her employees as they're told who to do next no matter the order the customer comes in the door. They may be with a customer and if someone comes in that she chooses to do next, they have to leave their customer and go to the new customer who just walked in the door. This happened to me and others yesterday. The customer next to me wanted me to speak up about it after discussing it with her. She was upset about it too and so I did. Hannah claims they have appointments yet had stopped taking appointments from me months ago. How are your customers supposed to know when Mr. Mike walks in and says, "oh, you are busy, I can come back later," has an appointment? Didn't sound like it to me. And, if we've been there an hour and half soaking with acetone on our fingers that long shouldn't it be taken off already! She even had Holly do a polish change on a customer who came in after me while I'm still soaking. Finally, after having enough, I proceeded to remove the dip polish myself. Unbelievable! After speaking up about this, Hannah raised her voice and began saying "no appointments, no appointments, we're shorthanded." She wasn't making sense after moving Cindy to Mr. Mike who just walked in with a so-called appointment. I understand shorthanded. I didn't have a problem with not being able to make an appointment. But then don't tell me this person who just came in after me has an appointment and expect me to sit there and be ok with it. It takes a while to get this process done. If I've already been there an hour and half, and you suddenly start on someone else who just walked in, how am I supposed to take that?! I'm curious, how do you decide who gets appointments and who don't? This is not the only bad experience I've had here, but now I understand why. Hannah has her special ones she caters too. I pay like everyone else and have been treated in a disrespectful way here. Cindy is the best nail tech there, then Hannah. But if you want to take a chance on being pushed aside while someone else takes precedence over your time, go for it. Or maybe you're one of those that get to walk in and go to the front of the line. I'm done with trying to be happy at Hannah's nails. read more

This place charged to cut the length if nail and to keep a long nail style! When I realized that they like to CHARGE the customer more, I told them how.much for the tips they applied. I was told $10. She proceeded to cut the nails, I told her no, leave them, I was then charged an extra $5, $15 in total. I go somewhere else and they charge me regular price for my set and tell me the tips are considered free with them. So I ended paying $80 for a set of acrylic nails! I went to the shop because my usual one begin getting sloppy. I'm so glad I did. This is the first time someone looked at my nails and advised me on the condition and the best method for getting them healthy because they were so damaged. I loved how they greeted each customer and how she made suggestions for maintenance. She wasn't concerned about the money but the condition and look of her customer's nails. read more

Simply awful nail job, and the prices were way more than other spas. They gave me a price to do my nails, then raised the price when I went to pay. I didn't ask for any extras. They just made up reasons and over charged me. The $46 dipped nails started flaking off the next day. I had to have them them redone in 3 days. The staff was weird and nosey. The place was uncomfortably nasty with nail clippings everywhere. I am one and done. read more

I love getting my nails done here. It is very close to my work so I can scoot over during my lunch break and get in and out within an hour. The parking can be a bit tricky during the lunch hours though. The location is sandwiched between two restaurants so the lot fills up. The staff is so friendly and the place is clean too. The prices are a little better than other places around the area. I typically get a shellac manicure for $30 or just a shellac polish change is only $20. They often run specials so be sure to ask. read more

I haven't even finished my pedicure yet but I came in on a Friday afternoon after stopping at my two regular pedicure places. They both has hour long waits. This place took me immediately and while it's not as fancy as my other places, it works. Clean, not smelly like nail salons can be. Should be great! read more

I began getting my nails done here after I returned to Memphis after being gone 10 years. It's close to my house, but one of my friends reccommended that I ask for Kathy. I've been 3 times, and they are fast, efficient, quiet (not alot of gossip chatter), VERY CLEAN and affordable. I get compliments all the time on my nails. The clientele is a higher quality, so you don't get alot of crazy in here. It's a very relaxing experience. read more

After walking in to two other salons that were packed with a long wait on a Friday evening, I was so happy to walk in here and leave the hustle and bustle behind. We were taken right in and really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The ladies did a great job on our pedis and there was no strong chemical smell. I do wish they had offered us wine or water, I was honestly too tired to hassle with asking but I did see it in the fridge close by and thought it would have been the perfect touch to end a long week. Nice, clean and professional nail salon. The nail technicians do not try to rush you, are friendly and make an overall effort to make you a repeat customer. I've been to quite a few nail salons in the city, but I rarely if at all have any complaints here. Another plus is that it's rarely overcrowded so you get the best service possible. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I went to Lyna's for an eyebrow wax and have never had such a horrible experience in my 15 plus years of waxing! First of all, I was horribly burnt and when I told the waxer that she had burned me she replied, "no...waxing hurts!" The day after I have horrible red burns all over my face so clearly it wasn't just hurting. In addition, they wax you at a chair sitting straight up in front of everyone getting their nails done. It is hugely humiliating. After being burned and treated rudely, I did not even get an apology and was charged full price. I left this horrible experience and cried from pain in the parking lot. DO NOT go here...they don't deserve the money. read more
