What a lovely nail shop! I came in for a dip mani and pedicure. I made an appointment and ended up being the only client there during that time. It was peaceful and clean. I spent about 1.5-2 hours there, which shows how focused their attention to detail is. I wish I got the lady's name who helped me. She was very sweet. The perfect mix of chatty but not overly chatty. I enjoyed her company. She took great care in making sure my nails looked great, including cleaning up my cuticles. The massage chairs for the pedicure were extra comfy. They also had several color options to choose from. In total, I ended up paying $88 + tip. This seemed pricy, but then again, they did spend a lot of time on me. Some areas of my nails seem to have a weird texture but overall they look beautiful!! Sadly, the same evening of my appointment, one of my dip nails cracked. I'm guessing they are too thin. I already called to see if they would fix it, and they were extremely nice about it on the phone and told me to come back in. I will do that soon! So, I get a pedicure every 3 weeks. No, my nails don't grow that fast, it's just a very important part of my self care routine. And honestly, I can paint my own nails; for me it's all about the massage. This is a small place and I think they are by appointment only. I made mine a day in advance. It is very clean, with the most enormous selection of polish I have ever seen. And those massage chairs are unlike any other I've ever experienced! The woman that did my nails was very sweet and accommodating, and I feel like she did a good job on taming my cuticles. Unfortunately, the massage was severely lacking, and my toenails don't look great. There's a lot to like here, but I will keep searching for my regular spot. read more

This place was amazing!! Seriously!! I am in town to visit family and had an afternoon open, so decided to get a pedicure and mani (with tips). This place is a little tucked away, but I got on Yelp and picked it bc it had great reviews and was near where I was. I called to see if they could fit me in asap and Carrie did! I've gotten lots of mani and pedi's over the years from various places, but truly felt like this was one of the best. Carrie just paid attention to detail and did a great job, going over and above (for example-she cleaned out underneath my nails AFTER she put the tips on, to make sure all the glue was out from under my nail. I've never had anyone take the extra second to do this, but it's a major pet peeve of mine to have glue sticking my nail to my skin under my nail (if you know, ya know ), so was super impressed. If I lived in the Memphis/Gtown/Cville area still, this would become my one spot. Since I don't, I'll make sure to hit it every time I'm in town read more

We had a perfectly enjoyable pedicure today. Last night, my husband, my daughter and I watched Legally Blonde. So, today we all three had an impulsive desire to get pedicures. Fortunately, there was a thunderstorm, which is probably the only reason why Tip and Toe was able to accommodate all 3 of us at once. It was totally worth it to brave the rain and lightning. As soon as the storm cleared, the place filled up with other ladies coming for mani/pedis. Tip and Toe is obviously very popular and is in a great location. Thunderstorm days aside, it's probably usually good to have an appointment. The 3 nail techs who waited on us did a perfect job and we all left happy, even my husband, who is not in the habit of getting pedicures. This location has recently been taken over by a young family and relative. I saw some negative reviews from before the shift in management, but the location is so convenient I gave the new guys a shot, and I'm glad I did! Had a great deluxe pedicure and dip nail application here! My choice of scented foot soak, scrub, and body butter with a hot stone massage for just $10 extra. Nam (could have butchered the spelling on his name) was great and made the extra effort to get the slightly ingrown corners of my big toenails. He also expertly applied my dip nails, making sure to do a base and top coat of sheer with two layers of color in between. The last few dip applications I've had didn't do this and were way too thin. He shaped them exactly the way I asked and made sure not to over-buff my thin nail beds. In the middle of my visit, a thunderstorm broke out. Van, the young co-owner, noticed that my car windows were cracked. As I was in the middle of my nail application, he fetched my keys from my purse and ran out into the heavy rain to roll them up for me. Top notch customer service! He also offered me 15% off for mentioning their Yelp page, even though the offer technically was only valid if you called to make an appointment, and I was a walk-in. Overall: nice and CLEAN atmosphere, great technicians, beautiful nails, and seriously first-rate customer service. Will be returning to this salon for all future nail appts in Germantown. These people say they can do everything, but in reality they can not. The pedicure wad fine but when it came to filing nails, they suck. I asked for a full with French tip and art work on 1 nail on each hand painted. Assured me she could do it. Well to make a long story short, after TRYING to paint on my nail she put on a decal but charged me as though she did the art work. What normally cost me $50 cost me $80, then I was required to leave a tip. I ended up paying $100 just to get out of there. What a rip off! read more

I was super excited about going to this nail place since before I moved to Germantown, however, I felt extremely bad when I felt that the lady felt annoyed due to taking a little longer on me. I have a disability on my right side of my body and felt that due to my fingers not being as mobile as my left she felt annoyed. Other than feeling that way, the mani and pedi that I got were good. I love Tip & Toe Boutique and have been coming here for over a year. My manicure and pedicure is always beautiful and lasts a long time. The attention to detail is just phenomenal. I typically rotate between gel and regular manicures and both have been wonderful. The color selection is great, they always have the newest OPI shades, everything is clean and tidy, and I feel safe here because everyone wears masks and clients are spaced out for social distancing. I am a regular here for pedicures. I have been coming here for years. I usually call ahead and tell Yen I'd like to come in, and most of the time she tells me that I can come in right away or that it'll be about 10-15minutes. Walk ins are welcome, but call ins and appointments are served first. Spa pedicure: To start off- polish removal, cuticle pushing and clipping, buff/exfoliation, and/or razor blade callous removal. Amazing massage chairs, jet and light therapy tubs, pressure massage to your liking with lotion and cooling menthol before starting the polish process. Hot towel after the lotion to make sure it's properly absorbed. Oil after that, for even more moisture. (I like having my toes cracked, so I ask for it.) Polish process (for regular nail polish): base coat, two coats of whatever color you choose, top coat. Then you sit under the dryer for a good 30-45 mins, get some cuticle oil put on, VOILA! Spa pedicure. They do gel, acrylic, nail art-- pretty much anything you can think of. Just call ahead to get the best timeslot. And as any other nail salon, weekends are packed. read more
